This is a beautiful property. The buildings are made with solid wood, facing onto a good sized garden and a pool at the back. The room is a very decent size and the bed comfortable. It's somewhat of an oasis in Chiang Mai, and a short ride away from most attractions. The staff are extremely helpful. Enjoyed my weekend here, and whilst we only used the room as a base and spent little time there, i was very pleased with it.
Perfect accomodation and staff”
The staff were perfect, they always helped us. The breakfast was perfect and good quality. We are so Happy for choose this hotel if I come back in the future to chiang mai I will stay un this hotel Thanks for everything
Hospitality, beauty and comfort”
I was traveling with a friend and stayed at Ruen Come Inn for 3 days. I found the staff to be amazingly helpful, going well out of their way to address every request. The food was mostly grown on the owner's farm and was fresh, great presentation and delicious. Room was very comfortable and clean. A spacious property in the city, you feel like you are in the countryside when on the property. We also had spa treatments. They were a little more costly than off the street, BUT was so much more than a 'massage', from fresh herbs boiled for relaxing scent to the braiding of our hair at the end, it was an amazing experience! I look forward to staying there again, and hope to recommend to others.
There are several good points to stat Ruen come in. I stayed three nights in here. Compared to other Thai style hotel, their room was large and bright. Also you can enjoy luxury area near the hotel as well as local atmosphere. I used their bicycle to go around the city or nearby. All staffs is very warm and always ready to help the guests in many ways. I really enjoyed the breakfast and the pool also. I recommend you have a chiangmai style breakfast. Thank you all of you in Ruen come in!
Excellent place to Stay in Chiang Mai”
Great place in Chiang Mai to sty, especially if you are looking for more localised type accommodations. The hotel has a lot of very old teakwood, the location is fantastic and the staff is excellent. Highly recommend.
Good hotel in the outskirts of Chiangmai”
What I liked 1. Great rooms with decent size and bathtub 2. Cute swimming pool 3. Helpful front office staff 4. Nice breakfast and great breakfast staff 5. Good value for money Improvement points for management 1. Transportation cost to the city centre of THB250 is too pricey and if I must be honest - unreasonable
We stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel staff at the hotel were very friendly! The girl at the front desk actually helped us to plan the whole trip and made all the arrangements for us, including SPA reservation, cooking class, elephants camp etc. Breakfast was great, local Thai food. The hotel provides airport pickup service at a reasonable fee as well. Highly recommended. However, the location may not be ideal for everyone as you have to take taxi to and from all the local attractions.
Everything is perfect”
This place is so beautiful!! It is far, far from a hotel! It offers terrific service - the owners and staff treat you like family! The rooms are exceptional - we stayed in one of the suites and the rosewood deluxe. Rooms are beautifully furnished and breakfast in the morning is complimentary! The pad thai was amazing! There is also a restaurant located in the hotel which was recommended by time magazine! We were also offered complimentary drop offs to the city by the owners themselves. Thank you so much for a terrific stay ruen!! We will not forget it!
beautiful teakwood house”
we stayed in rosewood deluxe twin room and that was great (next time i prefer to have a bouble bed).. our stay was good nice room with green garden view. we love it, we loved to stay on the beds and look outdoor, lovely relax green of the trees. my husband loves this place and we agree to come back next trip
A haven of relaxation between busy Chiang Mai travels”
Pros: This lodging holds only 13 rooms, so one doesn't feel crowded but relaxed in this aesthetically pleasing environment. The breakfast display provides many unique jams: mango, passion fruit, various berries with homemade breads as well as traditional Thai or American orders. What a friendly staff! The room we stayed in was spacious and clean with easy control over room temperature. If I return to Chiang Mai, this haven will be my main stay. Con: it is good to have mosquito repellent...while not excessive, mosquitoes were around in early mornings.
Relaxed, calm, beautiful hotel with very friendly staff”
Pros: Nice, spacious, very clean hotel room Very comfortable bed Super friendly and helpful staff which did everything to keep mosquito problem under control Cons: Breakfast is western oriented, unfortunately Thai dishes were without authentic Thai flavor but totally acceptable All in all we had an amazing time and would return anytime
Staff and hotel was up there with the best
Great though the food was somewhat disappointing”
Lovely rooms, good value, though quite a bit outside the centre. Staff were extremely helpful, booking Ubers and giving advice. The pool is nice if you like pools, the grounds were lovely. The only jarring note was the food: I can understand not wanting to make food too spicy for Western guests but almost everything we had was very bland, even tasteless. Other than that, thumbs up all round (will bring a large bottle of chili sauce the next time I come).
A Great Experience”
The Ruen Come In exuded the sweetness of the people of Thailand. We were so completely taken care of. From the tasty breakfast we ordered every morning, to the cleaning of our room, to suggestions on where to visit, we always felt they wanted us to have the best possible experience. The room itself and the grounds were beautiful. The family owner is so lovely and the whole staff very considerate. The location is out of the center of town, but we didn't care because inside the Ruen Come In, you feel like you're home.
We stayed at Ruen come in during a recent 6 day trip to Chiang Mai. Everything was great with our stay - from the room, to excellent service, to good food at the restaurant. We liked that it had the boutique style feel to it, with lots of vegetation and nice decorations throughout the property. We wish the location was slightly closer to old city, but using Uber made it fairly easy to get around.
If you need affordable basic accommodations, this place is for you. Everything is basic, from the amenities, facilities, and including breakfast, but the polite and friendly staff make up for everything else. One thing is sure, the place is very clean. How do I know this? We were asked to go barefoot almost everywhere because they have wood floors and the bottom my feet did NOT turn black at all. But they do HAVE mosquito problems!
Loved our Stay!”
Stayed with my Wife for our Honeymoon! Could not ask for a more helpful staff, the breakfast was also very delicious. Many places within 10-20 minute walking distance also for food. They will call any form of transportation that you require. All in all, very nice hotel. Staff speak a variety of languages also, so this comes in handy. It is not downtown, it is on outskirts of main city. I actually miss being there very much! Take care everyone, thank you for the wonderful memories. Regards, Jeff & Wen
Traditional timber Thai style hotel. Amazingly clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. The best breakfast I have had in Thailand (pork and sticky rice) ended up staying an extra 3 days here. Only downside is a little out of the main areas but hired a scooter and was very easy to go anywhere. I think this will be the only place I will ever stay in Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai ”
Hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Location a little far from the Old City and sights so have to take a taxi everywhere. Hotel staff located taxis and drivers for us. They also helped book tours. They brought a boyquet of flowers for my bday which was SO WONDERFUL!
Free Wi-Fi in all rooms!
