Absolutely perfect place to stay for relaxation and local culture”
Rural Scene is out of the old city of Hoi An on Cam Nam island which makes it a fantastic place to be if you love peaceful days and quiet evenings. It was such a pleasant experience to stay there. The old city is completely packed with tourists and not relaxing at all. Lovely Sol welcomed me and gave me a map to the city, lent me a bicycle and lock and was always ready to help. The room is spacious, immaculately clean, had two balconies and a bathtub, quite a bargain for the low price. The breakfast I had was delicious. The view is over treetops in the area. It's very quiet and the pool was also relaxing. I loved riding my bicycle through this part of Hoi An, getting My Quang on the street and seeing the local people. I highly recommend staying here if you like some natural beauty and a more authentic local experience than much of touristy Hoi An.

My absolute favorite stay in Vietnam!! ”
Upon arrival, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a warm welcome from Sol, the front desk manager. Helping me with my bags to my room, I quickly became aware of the wonderful, fresh scent of lemongrass throughout the building. The building is new and well cared for and the rooms are very clean with comfortable beds and all needed amenities. During my stay, I met many of the other guests during breakfast, making many new friends. Rural Scence Villa definitely made me feel like I was at home! I stayed 14 nights with the fabulous team at Rural Scence Villa and would now consider them my friends, in Vietnam. This stay was a highlight of my two 1/2 month trip and I would highly recommend them to all.

Amazing stay!”
Had a lovely 5 night stay at the gorgeous family owned rural scene villa in Hoi An. Over our two month journey through Asia this place would be one of the top places we have stayed! Great value for money, lovely spacious new rooms with a balcony, and the most friendly and accommodating staff you could ask for. Very big thank you to them for making our stay amazing. Location wise it is a couple of km out of the centre city in a nice quiet local area but we enjoyed getting away from the hustle and bustle. With a free shuttle into town every night at 6 with pickup and free bicycle hire, location is not a problem. The pool was a nice addition if you just want to relax and more often than not you have it to yourself. If your wanting a great stay in Hoi An look no further than Rural Scene Villa. Truly great!

Amazing few days in Hoi An”
We had a few amazing days in Hoi An staying at Rural Scene Villa. The room was lovely, spacious and very clean. The lady at the front desk worked way too many hours. She was there first thing in the morning and she was still there when we were back in the evening, but always with a smile and more than happy to help. Bikes were offered for free which was definitely a great extra!

Peaceful stay in a village”
The name is self-explanatory: Rural Scene made us feel like we were actually living in a village. The hotel itself is in a small lane off another small road in a village, a distance from the Hoi An old quarter. It's quite a walk but the hotel does rent out very good scooters, which makes traveling back and forth really easy.

Best Villa for price”
Let’s start by saying how amazing Hoi An is!!! Now when I arrived to this Villa I was welcomed by the friendliest receptionist that was so kind to give me a tour of the villa, gave me a map and explained all the activities I could do in this city. This villa has a nice pool, free bike, free shuttle electric car to the city at night time and pick up. It is also very clean and quiet! The only con is the breakfast as I feel it could be a bit better. Other than that best place I’ve stayed in my SEA trip

Really lovely great value place ”
Loved our stay here - booked for 2 nights and stayed for 4. The staff are extremely nice, the food for breakfast is lovely and the rooms and bathrooms are beautiful. Very good value. It's on Cam Nam island (over the bridge from the old town) and takes about 30 mins to walk, or you can use their bikes for free. Scooter rental was only a few dollars and in the evenings there is a little golf buggy that does a shuttle run into town at 6 and then a pick up at 9. Otherwise a taxi only costs approx. $2

Perfect!! Very very nice hotel”
we feel we get more than we paid. Even the hotel a bit far from the old town but they take their guest to the town by golf cart.The room is like pool villa room but we paid like economy. The best of this hotel is all the staffs are very very friendly and helpful. I very recommend this hotel. if I have any chance to go back to Hoi An, I'm sure I will stay this hotel.

A lovely oasis hidden away from the tourist-Mecca ”
The place has a lovely atmosphere, and the longer we stayed the more we felt like home. When it was time to leave we decided to stay two more nights and the Staff arranged that for us without problem. All of the staff is kind , helpful and genuine and we only got excellent service and hospitality at Rural scene villa. We had bikes to use for free and it took only 7min to the old town. Also the pool area is really cosy with a clean nice pool! We have been around the country for three weeks and this has been the best accommodation we have had in Vietnam so far.

About 1.5km from Hoi An Historical town, this cozy little gem is hidden away from the hustle and bustle. Free bicycle hire makes the trip around town very laid back at your own pace. The staff were amazing and very hospitable. The room was modern and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool. Cannot fault this place at all. They even organised a ride back to Da Nang for a much cheaper price than a grab. Sensational.

I highly recommend the potential travellers stay at Rural Scene Villa. The hosts are very kind and attentive. Swimming pool is good for kids. And it is fun to select breakfast each time. They provide free bicycles and free golf carts from and to Hoian Old Village from 6 pm to 9 pm everyday. Ms. Son is very kind & helpful. One more thing is the pleasure to meet with foreigners from all over the world.

Favorite place we’ve stayed ”
We enjoyed the family so much who owns the hotel. Somehow they have the professionalism of a larger hotel chain with maintaining the charm of a family owned villa. Everything was taken care of for us from our airport pick up to a motorbike rental to shipping clothes home to getting us snickers bars late at night when we craved them to taking care of a scooter crash my husband got in. The prices are so cheap here- not sure how they keep them so low. We’ve been traveling for 8 months and this was in our top 3 favorite places we’ve stayed. Everything is so clean, the food at the restaurant is superb, and the rooms were great. Only drawback is it’s a little out of town. This was fine for us as we wanted a quieter place and we enjoyed the bike ride (bikes are free) into town or the golf cart ride (also free). The only other drawback was the shower gets cold quickly but that has been our experience all over Vietnam. Other than those, everything left us feeling warm and fuzzy and glad we randomly chose this hotel. By far the best value. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quieter place where you can get some tlc if you’ve been traveling for awhile.

I cannot fault this charming little family run hotel. It is a little out of the way, hence Rural Scene Villa. Lovely, quiet and restful location. The staff go out of their way to accommodate the guests. They are extremely generous and kind in every way. We were sad to leave and will definitely stay there again.

Friendly, helpful, knowledgable in fact perfect hosts. ”
Very well looked after property. There’re proud of it. We had problems with the free bikes on two days ( of our own making). They sorted it all out without hesitation. We booked a trip ourselves but wish we’d done it through them. The price would have been the same and they deserve the commission. When we return to Hoi An we will only stay here.

The hotel price was very reasonably cheap. If you are looking for a homestay style hostel, then this is the good choice. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. The location is not very far from the Hoi An Old Town. The hostel provided free bicycles.

A lovely place to stay in Hoi An”
Loved our stay at this place. Very clean, quiet, airy and friendly. There are free bicycles with child seats for you to explore the surrounding areas. Easy to catch a taxi to anywhere in Hoi An as well (about 5-8 min to the center). Would definitely stay again if we come back to Hoi An.
