Exceptional”
Excellent hotel. Staff friendly and exceptional. Rooms and pool area very clean. Views of Lake Jindabyne from every room. Breakfast was great as was the dining and lounge areas with open fireplaces. We had a wonderful weekend here.

Lovely room with lake view”
We enjoyed our stay in Rydges and our room is in front of lake jindabyne! Clean and spacious room with nice fixtures. We also had the BEST Onion Rings from their Bistro. So crispy and tasty, there's no need for a dip. Thank you Rydges!

A stopover between Sydney and Thredbo”
We stayed at Rydges Horizons Snowy Mountains Jindabyne for 2 nights before continued our journey to Thredbo. The hotel is located next to a BP petrol station, opposite nuggets crossing shopping centre . There were Woolworths, BWS, newsagency, some take away shops at the shopping centre. We booked a studio room and the room size was bigger than our expectation. The room we were staying has a balcony overlooking Lake Jindabyne. There was a tennis court and indoor swimming pool in the hotel. Check-in was easy and we were given a room located at the ground floor. Our breakfast was included in the room rate and it did not disappointed us. The breakfast had hot and cool selections and it came with a self-service coffee machine. There was no daily housekeeping service during our stay. However, towels, soaps, shampoos, coffee bags, milks etc were available at the reception free of charge. We will stay at Rydges Horizons Jindabyne if return to Thredbo in the future!

I can’t fault this hotel really. It sets on the one of the best spots by the lake with balcony overview to the lake. Large couch, dining table, kitchen and bathroom with washing and drying machine. Perfect get away hotel.

One of the best accommodation in Jindabyne for short travel to the snow”
If you don't want to be in the middle of the snow, you can't go wrong with Rydges. Located close to the snow and easy to find food options. Great place to be especially with family. Definitely will come back again.

Perfect Hotel”
I needed a hotel for the night after a drive from Sydney before heading off to our final destination. After looking all over the place this became an option and was very please too. The room was ready with breath taking views over the lake, and great amenities. It was close to the town centre for supplies. We used the pool and restaurant for Breakfast, and was faultless. The pool was the perfect size for my younger daugher who loved it. Staff were friendly and obliging.

A little dated”
I booked a deluxe king unit which can accommodate 2 people however the room was cluttered with too much furniture, the lounge could set 5-6pax plus two extra single lounge chairs. There were kitchen 4 stools, big chest of drawers and coffee tables and too many pictures on the walls. It certainly wasn't a deluxe and felt very cramped. The unit had a great view and in a great location but it was very dated and in need of a reno. Hence I didn't feel it was value for money.

Good location ”
We had 2 x 2 bedroom apartments that were next to each other which was great. Apartments well furnished with everything we needed. As a group of 5 we requested one apartment to be set up with one twin room (the other 2 doubles) which was misinterpreted with both apartments getting set up as twin room. The rooms don't seem to have much soundproofing as we could clearly hear our downstairs neighbours partying until the early hours of the morning. We ate in the restaurant one night thinking it would be quick and easy - waited +45 mins for food to arrive, and when it did an order had been stuffed up. But, the view over the lake is beautiful and you can't be the location (walk to shops, hire wheel chains next door etc).

Arguably best location at Jindabyne for this clearly yesteryear hotel. The room is rather depressed with 2 decades old facilities. The breakfast though is a positive surprised with some better offerings

Ordinary catering”
Quality of Buffet breakfast is ordinary, not terrible but certainly had much better at similar priced facilities. Not so fresh and some items of average quality. Room clean but small for “Delux apartment”. Toilet paper terrible, super thin and delicate. Best to bring your own. Only 1 tiny soap cake for 2 people for 3 nights, stingy, no tissues so need to use the terrible toilet paper if you want to blow your nose. View of lake from balconies is nice. Car park space under unit too small for large car such as Prado, parked out in open as super tight. Only 3 stars from 5 from me.
