Perfect except....”

Everything was absolutely Perfect EXCEPT......HUUUUUGE Spider got into the room...the size of your hand! Even with everything sealed shut! (Thats 2 sliding doors!) But thats just it...the Japanese sliding doors are not tightly fitted and do not have gaskets to be "sealed shut". The whole height of the door has a huge gap which allows these buggers in. You'll see it when its dark inside and you can see the daylight piercing in through the huge gaps of the sliding door. The hotel should install some sort of gaskets for the sliding doors areas and give you some powerful bug spray! Other than that the layout was gorgeous! Futon was comfortable. Staff was so accommodating and so kind. Public and Private baths were great! Food was fantastic! Lots of vege, perfectly cooked... had grilled duck and duck nabe with soba as well. You can do meditation at a 900yr old temple a min away. Its great! Just have to fix those door gaps!

すごく趣がある宿で、お風呂も広くはないですがすごく効能がありそうないいお湯でした。 ご飯が特に豪華で、夜の豊後牛は忘れられません。朝は特別にお節でした。
