    “Memorable Ryokan Experience”

The room was big enough and the futons were very comfortable. The blankets were really warm as we felt it was abit too warm in the middle of the night. The private onsen on the rooftop was amazing. The kaiseki dinner was a nice experience. Their shared onsen bath was also very nice and they will switch the male and female onsen sites at midnight.

    “Private Onsen and amazing dinner”

The ryokan is clean and has touches of tradition in its decor. Our room was spacious but the stand out was the private onsen which gave the family the convenience to dip in and out whenever we felt like it. Little things like the towel and yukata trays that were pre-bundled was thoughtful (they include kid sizes according to your reservation). The staff was amazing and super friendly, when one of our girls called reception to ask for slippers, the front desk assistant came up the room to make sure she understood what was requested which was really nice of her. The dinner was so big that neither my wife nor I finished and that's despite sharing the meal with our little ones. Would highly recommend.

    “Ryokan Biyunoyado”

Hi I recently stayed here for 3 nights and found it to be very good. The value for money with bed, breakfast and dinner was excellent. The Onsens were very good and there is a useful shuttle to the station if needed but it's only a 7 minute walk. Room was clean and spacious. Not a lot of English was spoken by the staff but I see that as my problem as I don't speak any Japanese.

    “Good!!”

They came to pick us up from the accommodation to Yudanaka Station, and there is also a shuttle service from the accommodation to the Snow Monkey Park. The accommodation seems a bit old, but the lobby, onsen, and breakfast were clean and nice. The tatami room had some crumbs because the tatami was old, but it was fine since we could spread out a blanket and there were slippers available. The staff was friendly, and they rented out boots and umbrellas for a fee (boots for 500 yen), and the additional charge for early check-in was around 8,000 yen. The view was nice as well (the accommodation is located on a hill).

“A great one night stay! ”

Our Tatami room was so comfy and the facing was so great for a panoramic sunset and sunrise views of the mountain range! Free shuttle transfer from Yudanaka Station to the hotel was a plus Point. The staff (淑英) is a very friendly and helpful staff. She recommended us to a close by restaurant (Geon) for our dinner as we didn’t reserve the dinner at the hotel in advance. It turned out Geon was a good choice, it serves fantastic local specialties! She also helped us to organize our timing and free shuttle service to the Snow Monkeys Park and then to Yudanaka Station for our train to Nagano. The onsen at the hotel, especially its outdoor onsen, was so cool!
