Amazing ryokan experience ”

My first ryokan experience in Japan, and its amazing! Their service is 100%, but won’t make you feel awkward or uncomfortable. So sincere and so polite, at the same time maintained the right distance so that you feel relaxed during your stay there.

Nice private onsen ”

Big and clean room , staff good in English and very nice Private onsen is wonderful The hotel has no a shuttle service to the station.

Meals are excellent, can compare with any 5 stars hotel, although limited English speaking.”

Hotel location is far from train station, it's inconvenient, staffs were friendly although limited English speaking, private hot springs rooms without sharing with public, rooms were clean, the meals were excellent. 4 and 1/2 stars out of 5.

Very welcoming, staff here are always helpful and full of smiles. Should stay longer. Good food, good onsen, quiet and not crowded. Comfortable living spaces, good view as well! The staff here really made our stay a great stay.

"Home sweet home" Hotel in Yufuin”

We enjoyed our stay here very much. All staff especially the owner Mr & Mrs Y Tominaga were very courteous and sincere, their excellent service conveyed us a "home sweet home" feeling. Those food items were tasty in homemade style for breakfast and dinner also. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and the hot spring was nice too. If we have a chance to come back to Yufuin, this hotel would be our first choice. Excellent hotel and keep up your good work !!!!

Perfect hotspring getaway”

After the enjoyable walk from the train station, you will arrive at the beautiful and traditional Ryokan Fukinoya. Greeted by the friendly host, they will guide you through all facility in the Ryokan. The meals were perfect, and Hotspring is nice and beautiful. The view outside the window is stunning. Perfect for couples and friends.

We spent 1 night at Ryokan Fukinoya and experienced one of the best stays as part of our trip in Yufuin. The male staff provided outstanding service and really made us feel welcomed. We were quite shocked at how great the dinner and breakfast were. We have been to various ryokan/hotel dining but this place served dishes that incorporated Japan’s top ingredients and it was just incomparable. Meal was very traditional like! The temperature of the onset here was very hot (which we love)! And it was very clean. They also have a free foot bath. For the price and service provided, there is really nothing to comment other than all positive things. I will be recommending this place to anyone who is interested to visit Yufuin!

I slept on 1 night and it was very fantastic experience to my family. Private hot spring had great view so that we could enjoy the Yufuin landscape. Staffs were very kind and helpful. Dinner (懐石) and breakfast consisted of various fresh foods. I will recommend this Ryokan to others and visit again later.
