Hugely disappointing”
I wanted a Japanese tatami room and a private bath, along with catered in room meals. I ended up spending over 70,000 JPY for one night (a Sunday night, not a holiday). The staff was excellent and the facilities were very clean. The food was good, but not great -- on the lower end of my kaiseki experiences. The public bath was old and looked dirty. The most disappointing thing about this was the location and the noise. I had no idea it's in the middle of a town center. Basically, right on a busy road, next to a 24-hour supermarket. You can hear train, car, and other city noises at all hours from the outside bath area. It was much quieter from our private outdoor bath than the public bath, but still loud. Not at all the beautiful serene paradise I had hoped for. It's the most expensive ryokan I've stayed in, and considering that, it is definitely not worth the price. I would never go back.

Exceptional”
Wonderful stay at this hotel! We enjoyed it very much especially the private hot spring bath and the breakfast. Very clean and spacious. Location is also convenient...next to a 24 hour supermarket and across the street from Daiso. It is also a short 8 minutes walk to the train station.

Japanese private onsen ”
Staffs were super friendly, even their English isn’t that good, they still tried so hard to service us. The price is a little expensive because of the perk season, but it is totally worth it. The private onsen is so awesome. I will definitely go back next time, and recommend to my friends.

Outstanding experience !”
The staffs of Ito hotel are willing to solve every problem you come across, and most importantly, their services and facilities are the best!!! Even though some of the staffs are not proficient in English, but they are still willing to understand your questions and use an i-pad to translate or communicate with you word-by-word.

Awesome Ryokan experience”
I wanted to try a Ryokan and have dinner there... turned out to be one of the best Japanese experiences I ever had. Not only the Ryokan itself was fantastic in terms of design and facilities (nice open air bath, beautiful gardens, cozy room which is essentially like a traditional Japanese apartment). The staff goes above and beyond to deliver an unforgettable experience to guests. The dinner consists of a seasonal preparation, so you'll get food prepared and arranged according to the season. The courses are never ending so make sure you don't take a heavy lunch that day. The person assigned was extremely courteous and friendly to explain all the food and chat. The hot bath it's also very nice here and I can't find enough words to recommend this place to readers. The only downside could be the price so I strongly suggest you take also the dinner since there's not a huge difference, and it's really worth it, the best part I'd say. Thank you so much!
