“Great location and service”
We were traveling with our 10 years old, we stayed in the western and japanese room, both were great, except we did not realize that the japanese room only had in-room toilet, but the shower bath were shared so it was awkward to have the bath with other guests. Great location in the southern area, right in front of Kawaguchiko lake, the famous ropeway is less than 5 minutes walk, with other daily necessities nearby; bus stop to Kawaguchiko station is in front of the hotel, bike rental is next door on the left, Lawson is next door on the right, self-service coin laundry that provides convenient waiting space with working stations also a place to lay down is 2 minutes walk at the back of the hotel, souvenir shops and plenty of choices of good restaurants nearby all within 5 minutes walking. So even the bus and many other services in Kawaguchiko close at 5pm, we can just walk around in a quite neighborhood. The room was clean just like most of hotels in Japan, but unfortunately the view from our room was the building next door, just a part of Mt Fuji visible. Amenities were great, Yukata and pijama were provided, with Pola brand of soap, shampoo and conditioner which was popular in good quality. On top of that, the service was awesome, we delivered our luggage to the hotel, and when we checked-in, the staff already put the luggage inside our room. And they provide Yamato service delivery at the reception, with the staff helped to fill in the form. So we got our luggage delivered to our next hotel that saved us the trouble of carrying it. But only on our last day, we found out that they provide free shuttle to Kawaguchiko lake. Overall it was a great stay at the southern area!
