See through my room window, there is a beautiful stream, provide wonderful night nature music; Each meal takes ~1.5 hour to finish, enjoy it! In the morning when I walk into もやいの湯, there is a woman inside, I did not aware that it is a mixed SPA and retreated to indoor 薬師の湯; I should be brave and enjoy the Hot Spring with the naked woman

very special experience, tranditional type Onsen, good view, with pickup from info center”
Our room is the only one with outdoor private Onsen which view is so nice, Sanga's room is traditional type Onsen without indoor shower in the room, which is ok for us, but may not be ok for everyone. Also Sanga provide other private Onsen for booking, the outdoor one is so cool. Public Onsen temperature is a bit low, but setting is nice, I like the Onsen is really in the nature. Food is also good, please try if you enjoy the nature.

Serene and beautiful”
Very beautiful and traditional stay in Kyushu. The dinner and breakfast was fantastic, not able to find such exquisite meal else where. Location was somewhat difficult to find. However should be ok if you drive or go by a private hire car. Do note that rooms does not come with shower facilities, my husband and i had to shower before we used the hot spring. Would have been better if there was shower facilities as we were not intending to visit the onsen the next morning but had to in order to shower.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in a room with a private bath (Hisakaki). Everything was excellent - top-notch service, meals, rooms, baths, free shuttle service! I was impressed even before arriving at the ryokan - left a note via Agoda about my arrival, and received a reply 2 days later. When we reached the Kurokawa bus stop on the day of our arrival, a staff was already waiting to transport us to Ryokan Sanga. Check-in was seamless and we were given a necessary briefing on the facilities and amenities. Then came the meals... 9-course dinner took us almost 2 hours to complete and it was really amazing! Breakfast was huge and very good. Got to try the outdoor bath for ladies and private outdoor bath (reserve at check-in). The views were amazing, there were adequate amenities, and it was just so relaxing. Yukata is provided, and you can basically go about everywhere in it. Highly recommended! Just book early as there are limited rooms with private baths.

Amazing and great mood!”
I loved so much with stay in Sanga. The room was warm and the bath was so great. With 15 months baby i was worried about hot water in Onsen but we really enjoyed with our family bath. Staff is amazing and the mood is unspeakable. It is pity that i cannot update photos in snowy day in Sanga. Highly highly recommended and i will give present to stay in Sanga in autumn to my parents. Loved it so much!!

One of the best traditional ryokan in the area with delicious dinner and breakfast. Ryokan with beautiful setting of lobby, rooms and many outdoor and indoor baths. Away but not too far from the town of Kurokawa.

One of the best Ryokans”
I have stayed in Hakone before, still cannot beat that, but it has everything you will like for a full Ryokan experience, from Dinner, Breakfast, Hot Spring bath, scenery, Futon, and much more. The staff pick us up from the Kurokawa bustop, which is one plus point. Highly recommend for couples on Honeymoon trip.

Very traditional inn with nice outdoor hot spring bath”
Good ryokan for travellers with a car to drive there. Quite a long distance from the centre of Kurokawa onsen. Clean rooms, food was good and quite a number of hot spring baths to choose from. Staff were very friendly and polite.

A relaxing stay in a beautiful onsen town”
Our family really enjoyed our stay here - the room was big with nice views, the onsen were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the whole town of Kurokawa onsen is amazing. We were a 30 minute walk from the town center but it was a nice walk and the staff can shuttle you both ways also. We shopped and had some yummy treats in the village, hiked several miles through woods, hills, and creeks in the area around the town, and still had time to visit another onsen. I would love to return during the other seasons when it is even more beautiful.

Fantastic onsen with excellent meals and services”
Located a short distance away from the main town area which provides privacy. Room is big with attached stone spa bath. Dinner was served in the room. Tatami bed was made for us while we were trying out the other onsen which need to be pre-booked with no extra cost. We also tried the outdoor private bath which comes with the river view. The staff drove the car to us when we checked out.
