Good location and best hotel! ”
Me and my husband was really enjoyed stayed there. What can I say, the location I think is good because not too far from shopping mall like imago, karamunsing and centre point. The room also clean and comfortable. Actually, when we enter to the room, I was checked no towel. It was afternoon already around maybe 5 pm - 6pm..I call hskp service and I not asking his name but he is really good staff and polite.I want to thank you for his services. So far, the breakfast menu is good and delicious and during we want to check out, there are few staff in the lobby and they are friendly. Thank you Sabah Oriental Hotel for the hospitality. Definitely will come again and recommend this hotel.

I booking 3 rooms.. 1 room is reday.but the 2 rooms is not ready but only ready at 4 & 5 pm.i cant imagine i wait untill 5pm.the reason is bed sheet not enough.wait for laundry service.its ok because the staff very patient with my question every single time i call to ask when is my room be ready.The 3 rooms also dont have towel & kettle. Need to ask when u need it.but its ok.i under stand Hotel is super busy during school holiday.keep up the good work.The staff also very patient. Thank you very much.

Love this hotel. If i have any seminar to attend within the city or any works require, i prefer to stay in this hotel for a few days. The price and service i get its hard to find compare to others. Keep it up. The staff friendly too. Even housekeeping are helping as best as they can. Parking is convenient too. Previously i bring my in-laws they dont like water bidet like hotel provide

I love everything about this hotel! The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The air-conditioner is very cool. Show heater is working just fine. We got our room at the higher floor, therefore we have a view of the ocean from our roon. Splendid stay indeed. Location is great, quite close to the city too.

There's just something about this place that makes me come back to it again and again. The pleasant atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff, and despite being an old hotel it manages to keep it's interiors intact. Just a few rooms needed some repairs. I give it a 4/5 and would come back here again in the coming months.

Big rooms. Great hotel! ”
This was our second time visiting your hotel. Stayed here with partner. The hotel is average with large and superbly clean rooms with comfy beds. The locations was perfect near the Imago. We had our Iftar and Sahur at the Cafe on the 1st floor. Then the food! Absolutely amazing. I was over the moon with my Ikan Masin Lumi. Definitely be going back to this wonderful place.

Everything is great, price inclusive breakfast is a good bargain, buffet style breakfast with a lot of selection, room service, huge room, bath tub and minibar... Just one small thing that bothered me was that the housekeeping missed putting towels in my room so I called the front desk, sadly nobody picked up, as well as the housekeeping extend line. The person who responded in the roomie app chat asked me to call the front desk but to no avail. I only had towel provided in the morning. Just a small inconvenience but rest assure you will enjoy your time here. Do order room service, their chef is amazing!!

Although it is not so new hotel but it has always been my choice of hotel. Near to town and that buffet breakfast is sufficient to clear my hunger. Well, staff has been nice to upgrade my room this time as I was waiting quite some time for my own room to be ready. Go go go SOH. I will stay again next trip

When it comes to breakfast, I've always decide to go to this hotel when in Kota Kinabalu. breakfast spread was good enough in my opinion. The only thing is, we stayed for 2 nights with an upgraded room thats good. During check in, my booking was including breakfast but the receptionist told me I have no breakfast, showed them my booking then they give daily breakfast coupon. Luckily I showed them. If not we have to pay for breakfast...again... After you check in make sure to request for towel, iron facilities (if you needed one), and water heater. I'm travelling with infant, have to request for hot water from cafe each day to make milk (they said ran out of water heater). And the water heater in the bathroom (or bathtub i could say) its not hot nor warm. Sames goes to the one at the sink bowl. Imagine wake up early morning and take a bath with cold water, have to take my infant to bath also with cold water (for sure my infant cry)... I cry too... (we stayed on 7th floor) And smell from something at corridor or hallway enter trough our room. Pity my infant... Other than that, navigation was easy especially if you're driving, parking was easy, breakfast was nice for me. Staff also good. Enjoy stayed here. Will come again to see if they have improved something. Thanks.

Sabah Oriental Hotel is one of my favourite hotels in Kota Kinabalu. Whenever my husband and I need to stay in KK, we’ll choose this hotel. It’s location is great as there’s distance between the hotel and the main roads. The breakfast choices are excellent and the room is in good condition. Everything is functioning well.

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights over the weekend just to de-stress myself after a long week at work. The hotel itself is a bit old but the room is nice and big, i book the place cause it has a bathtub inside. Parking place is easy and available. The breakfast buffet is okay for me but could be better nonetheless my overall stay is 10/10. Would definitely come back again in the future.
