Only accommodation in Sabah Tea plantation”
Nestling next to the tea plantation with an outdoor view of KK mount. The location is perfect. The only restaurant available is attached to the tea plantation. Luckily, the food quality is good. Must go for the sunrise morning walk for a fantastic sunrise view.
Longhouse in organic tea plantation”
It’s interestig to learn about the only organic tea plantation in Borneo. The longhouse is a good experience for city dwellers to experience the traditional native housing, with a touch of modern convenience.
Quiet far from Mount Kinabalu area”
The overall stay was nice except the cleanliness of the room.....with ants crawling everywhere. It is within the short distance to the Tea Garden but far to Mount Kinabalu area. The booking room was inclusive of breakfast which came with freshly stir fried noodles, the portion was HUGE! The food menu was surprisingly full of variety and taste good. The tea set served with freshly brewed famous Sabah Tea was the main attractiveness for people’s to drop by too. Only the scones need to be improved.
Thank you for staying with us! It's been an honor to serve you. We are appreciative of your feedback and it's important to us for upgrading our facilities and services.
Beautiful sunrise view overlooking Mt Kinabalu from our cottage. Breakfast set was generous amount & delicious. We took the opportunity to explore their facilities and join the informative factory tour with a very minimal fees. Overall this is a nice place to relax and enjoy the environment.
Back to nature”
A better option to look at tea plantation would be cameron highlands, but here maybe the area we stayed we couldn't see much of tea plantation, it was more of a mix of plantation and jungle with endless greenery. It was a nice back to nature trip for the kids though
great experience staying at the longhouse”
nice place to stay. the view of sabah tea and mount kinabalu. you can even go and sea the sunrise from here. the breeze at night is so perfect to relax with your couple or family. i suggest you to have a real experience is staying at the longhouse. so unique. must try !
Great but far location”
if u wish to enjoy the mount kinabalu view, this hotel is not ur choice, becoz far from kundasang... but, there provide u anothers experience, surrounding by nice weather, night time with the insect concert, peace environment... but, the tea plantation is quite dissapointed me, is not well maintain...
We're a group of 14 pax staying in the cottages for 3d2n. Cottages were clean except that the single bed is very springy which resulted in my son having backache. No wifi in rooms and very limited channels on tv (only 3 channels were available). Breakfast set consist only of fried noodles, wantan ho and tea. Servings were inconsistent as table of 4 have bigger serving than table of 6. Lucky for me I checked my bill as we were charged double for our ala carte order.
Not as expected”
When booked the cottage, photo look very clean and new. But when arrived, signage not clear enough, we drove here and there to look for the reception to check in. Road not smooth to drive in. The cottage obviously having some years of history, having some bad smells, facility not that good, water pipe location is very bad, sommore having cockroach in the room. Definitely not recommended for stay. Though the restaurant food consider ok
Beautiful place to stay, friendly staff, cottages were comfortable for 5 people stay”
Good view and beautiful place to stay, staffs are considerate and friendly, lot of picture taking view, 2 cottages comfortable for stay of 5 of us. Food was just nice, breakfast waffle and pancake was really good and sabah tea was good too. We spend most of our time just being in this place. Felt close with nature for city people like us. The road to this cottages and sabah tea garden are dark and no tar road, so driving to this place at night was felt like we were lost somewhere until found the sign board. Better to drive in here at the day time, better even if have a 4wheel drive to go here.
Thank you for sharing. We are so pleased to know how our property took care of you and how our staff truly cared for your experience.
Pay extra RM80 with Agoda booking.”
Dusty room. Cottage area very dirty, long grass and not well maintained. Walk in guest or booking via Sabah tea garden reception office is much cheaper.
Fresh air...traditional life
Thank you for staying with us and please come again.
i like to stay here again! good experience, nice ambiance. the staff in-charged the night we arrived was super friendly and nice. keep it up :))
Thank you for staying with us and hope to see you again. Have a great day!
It is expensive”
Expensive compared to the facilities provided.
If you love nature, this is the place for you. Trek around the vast compound of the plantation, visit the tea factory and indulge your appetite with the food at the restaurant. The gravel road leading to the plantation is the ONLY minus point.
Thank you for sharing. It's been an honor to serve you and wishing you have a great day. Please come again.
Excellent food and sunset view”
Do not miss teh tarik and food at the restaurant
Very nice and comfortable
We spent 2 nights in cottage at Sabah Tea Gardens Ranau. Neat and clean room with fragrant plants around. What an exotic aroma in the evening, enjoying cup of tea in the yard. Picturesque mount kinabalu view with floating clouds around. Mesmerizing atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff especially com situ at reception counter. Wished to stay longer, surly will come again.
This is a secluded resort on the Sabah Tea plantation. It is quite secluded but has amazing views of the mountain. We stayed in the cottage and it was clean and very comfortable. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food in the restaurant. If you don't go in a package tour you will need a car.
