It's a very nice resort, very relaxed and apart from that personal critic there is nothing more to complain.

"Overall a very pleasant hotel."

This resort enjoys a central location in the heart of Pattaya, minutes from restaurants, bars, and Pattaya Beach. The Sabai Resort is located on Second Pattaya Road, adjacent to the Central Festival Shopping Center with its huge selection of retail shops, restaurants, and Big C supermarket. The resort is also adjacent to Alcazar where extravagant transvestite cabaret shows take place nightly and should definitely be on your agenda while in Pattaya. Many restaurants, serving Thai and Western food, as well as numerous bars are just across the street from the resort. Pattaya Beach is only a five-minute walk away. Even though it is in the center of Pattaya, the Sabai Resort is pleasantly quiet as the guestrooms are strategically located away from the main road and separated by a beautiful swimming pool. When you're ready to book a room at Sabai Resort, please enter your travel dates into the secure online booking form and click.

Beautiful resort style Hotel. Clean and quiet!”
The Sabai Resort really is a resort style hotel. Not like many "Resorts" that I have been to in Thailand. It has a well maintained feel with lots of greenery. The pool area is nice and near the bar. The bar is reasonably priced and they have a full menu of good food. They also have a pool table that is in good shape and at 50 Bhat/game is competitively priced with bar tables in Pattaya... but there is plenty of space around the table for a comfortable game with friends (Unlike many of the tables you will find in the cramped bars of Pattaya). The room I had was VERY quiet. They are quality buildings with good insulation and I never heard a single noise from outside of my room. The room itself was super clean and was he size of a small size American apartment. More than enough space. In room safe was good and gave no issues. WiFi was fast, free, and easy. No hassles with the amenities. I had an issue with the AC in my room and called the lobby near 3 AM. A maintenance person was at my door in under 5 min with a ladder to replace the thermostat. Very quick and friendly staff. The people at the desk all knew a fair amount of English which was nice. The location is rather good. It just north of central Pattaya 1 block from the beach road. So it is quiet yet not remote at all. The area is good and I never felt worried at all. I was coming and going at all hours and always felt secure by the moderate amount of foot traffic and well light area. There are plenty of bars within easy walking distance (2-5 min casual walk). The Beach is 1 Soi over (about a block). Walking street is about 5 min by Taxi truck to the South. There is a shopping mall about 5 min walk directly North of the Hotel that has plenty of shopping. Hotel is a very good value for the money and will be staying there whenever I am in pattaya.
Excellent Resort In Heart Of Pattaya”
Sabai Resort is conveniently situated in Pattaya Second Road with all amenities close by such as Alcazar Show, Family Markt, McDonalds, food stalls, massage parlours, beer bars and Pattaya Beach. Walking Street is a short tuk tuk ride away. The hotel is divided into three zones: The Garden Zone, The Paradise Zone and The Villa Zone. Each zone has its own clean swimming pool. All zones are surrounded with beautiful gardens, which create a relaxing environment. The excellent resort with lots of greenery and quite tranquil from all the noise outside. You can find free towel service, sun decks, wi-fi internet access in the common areas of the resort and in your room. Two bottles of drinking water per day as well. Can enjoy Thai and International cuisine in warm-welcome restaurant. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty. The food is decent quality, not the cheapest, but next door on the car park for the ladyboy show there are some great little food stalls open late into the night. Poolside refreshments are available at the bars by each pool. The room is, I will say, a little bit old and need some updating, but clean and in good size with an ante room. The wardrobe is very small. There is a cable TV and a safe in the room free of charge. Bathroom is huge and well equipped. Bedroom is a good size and comfortable. Hotel service is excellent. Even when there is a small problem it is fixed quickly with a minimum amount of fuss and bother. The staff are lovely , friendly and polite. The hotel is good and provides everything you need for an enjoyable stay. I would recommend it to others.
Nice and ok Hotel”
The Sabai Resort is a nice hotel in the midst of Pattaya, which in my view is not a good city to stay in. The beach is small and so full of bars and deckchairs that you can't see the sand. The whole place is awash with girly bars. On a plus side there is good shopping and plenty of places to eat. But the Sabai Resort is a bit of an oasis. Set out like a village and low rise, mainly single storey. Rooms are not the latest in Thai design, but are large, comfortable and clean, with a nice bathroom and supplied toiletries and dressing gown. It's set one block back from the beach and next to a shopping plaza.Had a nice pool for exclusive use of those rooms and I would recommend them. The cheaper rooms didn't look nearly as nice and many seemed to have no balcony or terrace. Breakfast was ok with a reasonable choice. Even though the hotel is quiet, there is still some noise into the early hours from the loud bars surrounding the property. Not that suitable if you have children. If for whatever reason you decide to visit Pattaya (and I wouldn't again) then this hotel would be a good choice.
I had a great stay at the Sabai Resort. I thought from some of the other reviewers that I would be disappointed, but I was pleasantly pleased by the overall experience. Sure, the hotel is not a year or 2 old, but it is nowhere near the run-down condition some reviewers have posted here. The breakfast buffet has an outstanding selection of American food as well as Asian cuisine, and it's open from 0700-1000. The restaurant also serves breakfast all day, for those that prefer to sleep in. Everything in my room worked as advertised, and the staff was very friendly. If you've never been to Pattaya before (this was my first time), everything is MUCH closer than it appears on any map. Most everywhere I wanted to go was either within walking distance, or cheap 10 baht bus ride.
Comfort and convenience”
This was my second time to stay at the Sabai Resort. If I return to Pattaya, I would stay there again. The staff and service level is excellent and the staff members are very friendly and helpful and speak English well. Unfortunately, I did encounter experience food poisoning while at the resort. The good news is the Pattaya hospital is a short walk away and the medical assistance I received there was excellent and reasonable in terms of cost. I know of no other events of food poisoning from guests there so I suspect my event was an isolated circumstance and it would not prevent me from coming back. Breakfasts were also very good with a buffet that provides options for both Western and Eastern appetites.
Quiet Hotel within this crazy city ”
The Hotel is on the North Part of Pattaya. Sabai Resort is huge with different section you can book. We decided to book the Paradise Area. That gave us an Private Pool (only for the Villas) and a quiet time at the Pool. From you Villa you just walk around 10 steps until you reach the Pool. The rooms service whenever needed was quick and friendly. The International Guests made our stay in the other parts of the resort not so nice. The East European and Russian Culture, specialy during Breakfast and lunch was very outlandish.
Great Location in Pattaya”
I stay 5 days in Sabai Resort and I Love It. It is a good hotel close to Central Shopping mall and the beach. Also is only 20 minutes walk to Walking Street by the beach´s sidewalks and you can see the nightlife of pattaya and shopping along the way. It is a very good choice for families, the pool is amazing. But need to get up early to take a free place. Very quiet place if you want to run a way from Pattaya´s crazy nightlife. I recomend this hotel for all kind of travellers (solo, coupleand families). When I came back to Pattaya again I am pretty sure I will stay there.
Nice location walking distance ”
We stayed here last year for only one night so didnt get the full appreaciation of the hotel. I can only give praise to all the staff for their friendly approach and helpful attitude to us and all guests. The rooms were clean and the villas are at the back of the resort so no noise was heard at nights and also we had the luxury of having a small private pool shared and only used by a small handful of guests. The breakfast was good with plenty of chioce for all tastes. The hotel is used by all nationalities so good mix all round. We will be heading back to pattaya next year and will be back at the Sabai resort once again !!

Unwinding @ Sabai Resort”
Sabai Resort is very accesible. It's like ten (10) minutes walk to the beach. It's across night clubs and bars. There's a lot of convenience store within the vicinity. If you want to shop there's a nearby mall called Pattaya Festival Center and if you want to have your grocery just go to Big C. It's also accessible to the famous Tiffany's Show and neighbor of Alcazar as well. The food in Sabai resort was great! Especially their breakfast. A lot of choices like American breakfast, Thai Breakfast, Salad, Fruits, Bread, Juices, Coffee, Tea, name it! We really enjoy our five (5) nights stay on this hotel resort - AFFORDABLE, ACCESSIBLE and VERY GOOD FOOD!!!
Central location and friendly resort”
Sabai Resort, Sabai Lodge and Sabai Empress are all located at the north end of Second Road in Pattaya. Very convenient for a cheap 10 minute bus ride to the main shopping malls and Walking Street. Sabai Resort is reasonably priced and had a relaxing and well laid out pool area. In the high season it can be a little noisy at night due to some night clubs in the immediate area.
Always a pleasure to stay here...”
I have been to Pattaya 10 + times, sometimes with my wife only or her complete family ( including young children). Although I would not say Pattaya is not a family destination Sabai resort caters well for the family and we have never had a problem with the nightlife aspect of Pattaya. Hotel is secure, well located, clean and the staff are all friendly...You won't go wrong booking in here..
Great Hotel,Great Location,Great Service”
I have stayed at the Sabai Resort many times and will continue to do so. It's located in the north of Pattaya on the second road just a 5minute walk to the beach. The room is ideal and a good cheap price with a good sized bed and decent bathroom. The receptionists are always happy to help as are the room service crew. Food from the restaurant is of a good standard and can be eaten around the nice pool.
The best hotel with staff to suit..!”
stayed at sabai for the 2nd time in just over two years , still i think the best complex in pattaya. excellent rooms that are great value for money. easy check in by fantastic staff that are always there if needed. in a great location with every thing you need on your doorstep. will always return to sabai resort when in pattaya
As always, my stay at Sabai Resort was a great experience. I was late arriving from the airport and the staff worked very hard to get me in my room as quickly as possible. On about the 4th day the A/C in my room quit working. Although it took 3 attempts for them to actually fix it, the staff was very quick to give me another temporary room until they were able to fix it right. The rest of my stay was quite pleasant. I will always stay here when I'm in Pattaya.
Excellent location and great service ”
Enjoyed my stay very much and will stay at this hotel next trip to Pattaya. Had stayed there previously which staff remembered. Staff took care of all needs promptly and with the usual Thai smile. Had great time. Also, have golfing friends who have stayed at Sabai Resort for years because hotel location to shopping and dining as well as the excellent service and always friendly staff.
Large resort in very central location.”
sabai resort was a great place to stay. the rooms we had were large (sunset rooms) and always well cleaned and maintained. staff is friendly and efficient. the central location in pattaya meant that we were never more than walking distance or a baht bus from our destinations. it is right next to big c shopping centre also which was very handy. the resort was also companion friendly, a plus. would recommend sabai resort to all.
Always Nice at Saai Resort”
Alaways a nice stay at the Sabai Resort Pattaya. The location is perfect. The Big C shopping mall is just a 3 minute walk, the beach is only a 5 minute walk and public transport is easily accessed on the road fronting the hotel. The hotel is older but well maintained. It is a nice quiet place to relax and recover from all the fun play time activities in Pattaya. It is good value for the money.
Great Place to Stay in Pattaya”
I have stayed in this hotel both as a tourist and on business. The hotel is very accomadating. The hotel is on the North end of 2nd Road. To get to the action of Pattaya you must either walk to beach road and head south, which is about a 10 minute walk, or take a baht bus and loop around to the hustle and bustle of Pattaya. The entire resort has wireless and the wireless was about 75% efficent. The internet connections would occasionally go down. I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
Relaxing and tranquil resort”
Just returned back after staying at the Sabai Resort, it was a very pleasant stay (apart from the rain) but that can't be helped at this time of year. We stayed in the delux room with a bath which have a balcony and it was nice to sit out in the evening for a pre dinner drink. There is also the the bungalow option which have a private pool. There are 2 pools otherwise. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and spacious. The resort itself is in walking distance to local shops and bars, it's about 30 mins walk to walking street, central festival shopping centre and the night Bazaar are about 20 mins away, you can get a taxi to the Theppasit street weekend market for @ 200THB which is worth a visit. The food in the resort was good, we eat in the restaurant most nights then walked into town later to sample the nightlife. Would recommend this resort for ideal for families also.
