Nice place to stay ”
The room is good, very clean and good shower. Is very easy to reach the old town, walking is just 15min. Around the guesthouse are places to eat (they are very cheap and tasty), also there is a supermarket. The owner and her son were very nice, and helpful. Is a good place to stay.

A lovely stay”
This homestay was ideal for exploring Hoi An. The location is slightly away from the Old Town, which I actually really liked because it is peaceful at nighttime, but there are still plenty of places to eat nearby, and it is a pleasant walk to the old town (less than 20 mins). The family are also very sweet. The owner even sat with me while I waited for the bus on my last day, which I really appreciated :) I would be happy to stay here again.

Our stay at Sac Xanh Homestay was very nice. The room was clean. They offered free bikes which we used to explore Hoi an and the nearby beach which i can only recommend. The breakfast varied daily and was very filling. The hosts are lovely and happy to help anytime.

Seasonable price with nice breadfast ”
Love the food they cooked as every breadfast. Me and my husband has the good time to spend here. We both love breadfast here. Nice, tasty and seasonally price for the room. The host also very friendly. For sure next time if we have a chance to come back Hoi An. We will stay here👍.

We liked Hoi An so much that we stayed two weeks and the Green/ Sac Xanh Homestay was just right. The rooms are clean and spacious, have A/C, hot water, TV (not really a necessity but hey) and good wifi. Breakfast was delicious and different every morning, included fruits (yummy) and they catered for vegetarians too. Filtered water and free bicycles to use are a welcome bonus and much appreciated. The area is residential, away from the busy centre so much quieter. The old centre is 30min walk or 10min bike ride and riding the bike through the chaotic Vietnamese traffic is a scary but interesting experience. Just do as the locals do and you'll be fine. The beach is 20min bike ride (recommended) and there is a quieter and picturesque way through the rice fields which you'll enjoy more than the main road (it's simple to navigate ... Just look on google map or ask the host). Oh, and while at the beach, if you are looking for a quieter place, go about 200m to the right from the main entrance and enjoy at the Phuong 'restaurant' (First after an empty stretch of beach). The family running it is absolutely lovely and caring, they do great food and the prices are so cheap compared to all other places. Deck chairs and umbrellas come free when you have some food or/and drink. You can even cycle there instead of parking at the main entrance to the An Bang beach. Your homestay hosts are a nice caring family too and they can also help with any bookings, etc you might need. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay”
Sac Xanh was an all-round great place to stay. My boyfriend and I stayed three nights in Hoi An. Arriving after a long day's motorbike we were pooped, but there were two cups of tea waiting for us and the check in process was quick and smooth. Any questions about what to do were answered always with a smile. The breakfasts were delicious and varied, we didn't have the same thing in the time we were at SX. Also, the Homestay has bikes you can borrow (no charge) and the ride to Old Town is five minutes. The double room was spacious, clean, had a small balcony where we could dry clothes, and large mosquito net above the bed. Speaking of drying clothes, when we were out for the day and caught in a surprise-monsoon the staff at the Homestay brought in our clothes and shoes we had drying on the deck. They would've been soaked otherwise. Thanks! I would stay here again without any hesitation, and would highly recommend this Homestay.

I enjoyed my stay at Sac Xanh very much ! The room were big and clean with aircond and wifi. There is a mosquito net with the bed which is quite esential and useful! The family were very nice and friendly which make us feels at home. They also provide FREE bicycle which helps us alot in Hoi An and save us alot of money. And they provide different type of breakfast every morning. All in all, although we just stayed there for two night, we had a wonderful time! Well-recommended !

I stayed at Sac Xanh Green Homestay for 3 nights with my parents. We all agree this is our best experience during out trip in Vietnam. We feel like family here. The family members are all very kind and helped us with many things. The places ( restaurants, tours, ..... ) are all very nice. Miss Huang makes delicious food, and even made us an extra meal! This is the place where we want to come back in the future.

Good choice in Hoi An”
Overall, we had a really comfortable stay here. Pros - great breakfast in the morning, really nice sweet owners, when the AC in our room didn’t work, they switched us to another room and it was perfect. Fridge in room. They have a water filter on a sink and we could refill our water bottles instead of using plastic. Helpful in arranging various things. Let us check out late since we had a night bus, which was extremely convenient so we could enjoy our last day in Hoi An. Free bikes to use, which made it easy to get to the beach or quicker to town. Cons - motorbike that we rented was a total piece of junk (NOTE : it didn’t belong to them, they got it from some motorbike agency). We got a flat about 3-4 kilometers after leaving, the flat was due to a bad patching job on a previous hole in the tube, we had to buy a new tube in order to ride again. The brakes we totally insufficient and the tires were bald. We would recommend to the owners to pick a different agency to arrange rentals through since this one doesn’t maintain their motorbikes. Lucky, we didn’t pay the rental in the end since we paid for a new tube. Communication with te owners can also be a bit difficult, but apps help. Overall, if you want to be away from the massive hoards of tourists in Hoi An and in a bit more of a local area, this is a great place to stay.

We had a good stay at Sac Xanh, which has great q/p ratio. Room is pretty clean (though not perfect), a/c is ok, lacks a fan but room is pretty quiet and feels good. You can borrow bicycles for free which makes it a 7-10 min ride to the old town. Caution with the bikes: one of ours got stolen so we had to pay it back to the owners. Breakfast is amazing (if you’re ok with vietnamese-style breakfast: there’s no choice - we were given an egg with some spicy sauteed vegetables). Be aware the owners speak very limited english: as nice and welcoming as they are, communication can be difficult. Also be aware that you’re living the real vietnamese lifestyle: including radio shows being broadcasted on speakers in the street in the morning and/or evening for 1 to 2 hours. For the price, you can’t go wrong. But there are a few drawbacks you should be aware of.

Cheap, cosy homestay”
Homestay is not in the city centre, but in really nice neigborhood plus you can always take a bicycle for free and go to the beach or downtown. Staff is super friendly and helpful (we got even some bisquits when we were leaving). If we were in Hoi An again we would stay there.

The owners dont speak much english, but are super friendly and happy to help with any directions or problems you might have The room was very clean, and with no double room available, we were upgraded to the family room at no extra cost A little far away from main part of Hoi An (not really, but in the heat it felt far), but free bicycles to use to ride around and get to Old Town 100% would stay here again, unless you're looking for the hostel experience over a homestay

Incredibly helpful family, unbelievable breakfast!”
Being a solo traveller it can be hard warming to a new city, but the guys at the hostel meant I never had an issue. I always looked forward to breakfast and I knew that any question I had would be answered. The room was in a fab condition and one of the best showers yet. Sleeping came easy and despite it being slightly out of town, the free bike meant this wasn't an issue. Everything together, including the beautiful town itself, means I'm definitely coming back here on my next stay in Hoi An!

A Very Nice Stay Indeed”
This is a lovely home stay with friendly, accomodating owners. My initial intention was to stay for 3 nights, but i ended up staying for over a week. The rooms are nice and clean and the wifi is excellent. In addition, they serve a different breakfast each day (no matter what time you end up dragging yourself out of bed). They provide free bicycles (which you'll definitely need to get about). By bike the town centre is about 5 minutes away and the beach 15 I really enjoyed my stay here and would certainly recommend it to anyone frequenting Hoi An.

Room are clean and comfortable. Just 1km away from old quarter and 4km from the beach. Bike rental for free which is very convenient to discover around. The host are very kind and welcoming even if they don’t speak much English and always with the smile! Local Breakfast is very good and different every day. Very quiet family which is very appreciative. Highly recommended for a stay in Hoi An, I would definitely go back there.
