Exceptional”

Sacha's Hotel Uno is a excellently located hotel. It is strategically located near the MRT station (both underground MRT and overhead MRT BTS). The most interesting thing about Sacha's Hotel Uno is the Manager and the Hotel's Management approach to its guest. Very recently, I booked the hotel and was supposed to stay at the hotel from 6th July to 9th July 2019. It was very unfortunate that my mother was critically ill on 5th July 2019. We rushed to the hospital Emergency Department. I told my friend to inform Sacha's Hotel Uno that we would not be able to go to Bangkok for our holiday. That Sacha's Hotel Uno can rent out the rooms to other guests since we are unable to go to Bangkok on 6th July 2019. (We never thought of any form of compensation as we booked the hotel rooms through Agoda.com. It is kind of going through a middleman. ) But Sacha's Hotel Uno has given us the chance to re-stay at their hotel again at no cost (expiry date is 6th Sept 2019.) Thank you Sacha & Agoda.

Dear David, Greetings from Sacha's Hotel UNO ! Thank you very much for feedback. We are very sad on hearing about your mom's illness. These is the least think we can do for our guests like you. Looking forward to welcome you back. Warm regards, The Management

Great Boutique Hotel in the heart of Bangkok!”

Affordable, Very Clean, Great Bathroom, Large comfortable beds, LCD TV (With all connection types easily accessible), Excellent staff, Excellent Restaurant.
Restaurant a tad pricey (Room Service ends at 23:00hr), No pool, Rooms have issues with sound from other rooms and hallways (more then once I was awoken by someone letting the heavy room door slam). Laundry a bit pricey as well (but many shops around cheaper)

Sacha's Hotel Uno is a very new and well-maintained boutique hotel that has excellent, friendly staff that have a good command of English. I have only stayed in the Deluxe rooms (2 weeks in total; March/April 2009) and they are excellent! The hotel is actually comprised of two separate buildings (about 30 feet apart) The wing where reception & bistro is located is comprised of the Deluxe rooms and the other is other wing has an espresso bar, free internet and is where the Superior and Standard rooms are located I believe. This hotel is in a perfect location of the Sukhumvit (Soi 19) tourist area, but far enough away from the noisy street traffic, although I was on west facing room that had no street running by. Overall this is a gem in the heart of Bangkok and I can only hope they maintain the rooms and take care of the few cons listed above....and it would be nice if the room prices remain the same (but unlikely I am guessing). Thanks to all the staff and I look forward to visiting again.

Definitely recommend!”

Great hospitality and a warm welcome! Flexible and helpful staff! Arrived late on Valentine's Day and missed the Valentine's Day Gala Dinner which the staff credited for our dinner the following evening, up to 1100 THB. The location was excellent and less than 2 min walk to the skytrain. There was a 7-11 right across the street where we could buy snacks and a SIM card for our phone at 1am in the morning! The rooms were incredibly clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable. For the price, UNBEATABLE!!! I would HANDS DOWN stay here again and recommend this for anybody!
Not the best food for dinner but respectable and definitely palatable. Honestly though, I am stretching to find any negatives about this place.

I adored Sacha's Hotel Uno and would stay here again without a doubt! It was a great location, close to the Skytrain Ashok station with less than 2 min walk. The taxi car ride here was quick compared to when we stayed later on at Le Meridian. The rooms were immaculately clean and fresh design. The beds were comfortable, the sheets were soft and the pillows perfect. The staff were very hospitable and helpful. We arrived LATE and missed our Valentine Gala Dinner included with our hotel stay and they allowed us to credit the amount to our dinner the following day, up to 1100 THB! All in all, if I were to return to Bangkok, I would stay again at Sacha's Hotel Uno as extremely reasonable price for an excellent hotel. No pool, spa or fitness room but honestly, you are there to see the city!

Excellent Upscale Hotel”

Outstanding Facilities Excellent Location Excellent Staff
None

This is my second stay at Sacha's Hotel Uno and I am continually amazed at the value you get for the price. The rooms are large and very well equipted with probably the best mattress and sheet quality I have encountered in Thailand. The bathroom/shower facilities are amazing. The flat screen TV has excellent channel selections. The staff is professional and excellent. There is no pool - so if that is important for you look elsewhere. The location is perfect - short walk to either the BTS (skyway) or the MTS (subway) which can quickly and cheaply get you almost anywhere you want to go. There is wild Bangkok nightlife within walking distance - but nothing close to the hotel (unlike many hotels in the Sukhumvit area) making this hotel very good one for families.

A great little hotel”

Extremely clean and well-kept. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing negative that I was aware of.

I had never stayed at the Sacha's Hotel Uno Bangkok before and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-kept it was. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The adjoining restaurant offered very good food for the money and, like the hotel, was very clean. The rooms were quiet and kept spotlessly clean by the hotel staff each day. A Tops grocery market was nearby and made purchasing snacks very handy. Overall, I thought Sacha's Hotel Uno Bangkok was an outstanding small hotel, and I will definitely stay there again the next time I am in Bangkok. I have already recommended it to friends of mine in Sweden who are planning to visit Bangkok this spring. I stayed there for 14 days during the last half of January 2009.

Friendly, clean and excellent value”

Friendly and helpful staff; clean modern rooms; good cafe/restaurant; easygoing atmosphere

i have stayed at sacha's uno twice before, so this was my third stay. it's somewhere i naturally like to go back to, especially for the first few days of my stays in bangkok, because of its cleanliness, friendliness and good location. it is not a luxury hotel but it has all the normal amenities. i believe that the cheaper rooms (in the annexe) are a bit cramped but the deluxe rooms in the main building, where i have always stayed, are light and pleasant. ideally, i would have like a bath as well as a shower but cannot really expect that at that price. ideally too, i would like to be able to open the windows and have a little balcony but that is partly because i like to be much warmer than most people do. partly for that reason, during my last two stays in bkk, i have transferred after a few days to a slightly more expensive hotel nearby that does have rooms with a balcony. but i expect most people are not as keen on the bkk air as i am. the other reason is that the other hotel does a better breakfast. the breakfast at sacha's uno is absolutely fine but a bit limited. however, what you get for the price you pay makes this hotel exceptional value for money.

Location, staff, rooms, beds!

i have stayed at sacha's hotel uno many times in the past, for the price, it is the best hotel in bangkok, i relly love it here, the location (sukhumvit soi 19) is only 100 meters from asoke skytrian and the new terminal 21 shopping mall, if you like nightlife the hotel is just around the corner from soi cowboy, a street full of bars. the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very nice with the softest beds in thailand, a joy to sleep on! i paid about baht this time, in the past i have only paid baht, at any price around baht this hotel offers excellent value!

as i was traveling solo and on a tight budget i took a bus to the asoke sky train terminal. $9.00 cad. a short walk down soi 19 (3min)and on the right sacha's hotel was like an oasis. the hotel was well lit and i was greeted very amicably by the bell and desk staff. soon in my room on the fourth floor. the lcd t.v. channels were great. the free internet and a/c worked well the bed allowed me a comfortable sleep. the morning breakfast in the hotel was reasonably priced and tasty. the desk staff arranged a taxi at a set price and i was off to explore bangkok in a good frame of mind. if i ever return to bangkok i'll sure try to book in at sacha's hotel uno.

Sacha's Hotel Uno is #1”

Great bed- extremely comfortable, with plenty of pillows. Fantastic rain shower, with plenty of hot water. (Hot water seems to be a rarity in Bangkok hotels.) The staff is great and very helpful. They should advertise that there is a refrigerator in the room, which they stock with 2 complimentary bottles of water each day.
Stay above the 4th floor- my room looked at the back of a building, less than 4 feet from my window. Not much of a view!

Where do I begin? I'm hard to impress with hotel rooms, but Sacha's Hotel Uno has done things right. The room isn't overly fancy, but it has everything you need. They spent money in all the right places- the bed and rain shower were both fantastic. You can access the closet from the bedroom area or from the bathroom, which is convenient. The hotel is small, so you never seem to have to wait for an elevator. I really liked the hardwood floors in the room. They supply 2 pairs of slippers and 2 robes. I did not eat at the hotel, so I'll give the food an average rating. For convenience... there is a 7-Eleven right across the street. Don't want to cross the street? There is another 7-Eleven 200 feet down the road on the same side as the hotel! There is a Pizza Patio across the street, which was fine for a quick lunch. There is also a tapas restaurant and an Italian place on the block. There is also a place to have your laundry done within about 100 feet of the front door. As you walk from the hotel to Sukhumvit, you will pass at least 2 massage places (can't beat the foot massages in Bangkok), as well as a Robinson's department store. (Robinson's has everything from appliances to shoes. Anything you might need or might have forgotten to pack can be found there. It is similar to a JC Penney store.)

Excellent value and great service.”

Excellent service. Good bedding. Rain shower. Great location.
Wireless internet service a little slow at times. Small lift.

I lived in Thailand for six years from 1990 to 1995 and speak passable Thai even now. I have stayed in all sorts of hotels around the countryside and in many of the cities there. Sacha's Hotel Uno immediately offered me an upgrade to a larger deluxe room as I was staying for several days but, as a smoker, I refused. The smaller room was quite adequate to my needs in any case and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful making every effort to assist. By the second day they knew me and would greet me by name. I did not have many meals there and those that I had were more for foreign tastes (i.e. not spicy enough) but the coffee on the ground floor of the annex is very good. The location is excellent with shopping, public transport and night life all just a short walk away. Definitely one of the best value hotels in Bangkok. I have just booked two of my associates there for a few days.

Good Staff, Convenience & Clean Hotel”

Was told by the female receptionist that my room will be upgraded but I prefer a smoking room and she did her best to make sure that it's available by checking it herself and I managed to get one and checked in to my room in less than 10 mins after arrival. Was also quite impressed that she filled out the personal particulars form for me. I always need to fill out one myself at other hotels in Bangkok. Very convenient location as Healthland massage, Asoke BTS, Sukhumvit MRT, Terminal 21 Shopping mall, 7 -eleven are all within short walking distance. If travelling light, take the airport rail as it is very cheap and you do not need to walk too far to get to the hotel. Taking a cab will cost much more ( About 400-500 baht including toll charges and traffic jam). Take the airport rail from suvarnabhumi airport, alight and exit at Makkasan station. There will be a sheltered walkway to Phetchaburi MRTstation. From there, you can take the MRT to Sukhumvit MRT station (Only 1 stop). All for only 51 baht. Room amenities like mini fridge, adjustable air conditioning, nice bed and pillows, floor to ceiling windows, safe box, bathroom robes, clothes hangar, shower head with good water pressure & efficient make up room service. Although this hotel is situated by a busy road, the room was effectively sound proof and quiet. Will definitely stay in Sacha's Uno again.

No lock on bathroom door!

I Stayed in Sacha's Hotel Uno in May '09, I have stayed in many different hotels in Bangkok over the last 10 years and I think this is one of the best hotel for the money! It's new so it's in very good condition, the rooms are decorated to a very high modern standard, bathrooms have rain showers, keycard entry to the rooms, the staff are polite and friendly and the hotel does not charge an extra "joiner fee". Free in room wi-fi is excellent! Samsung LCD TV's in all the rooms with 85 channels, many in English! I love this hotel and will definitely stay here every time I come to Bangkok in the future! The only thing that some people wont like is no lock on the bathroom door, it did not bother me at all!

Nothing

I've stayed at Sacha's Hotel Uno many times now and it's always a pleasure to stay there. The staff are very helpful and will do all they can to make your stay a very nice expirence. The hotel is less than two minutes walk to the BTS on Sukhumvit Road and you can get any place from there. The street and traditional Thai food in the area is of a very high standard there is also many hotel where you can eat for the not so brave. The street markets tend to be a little over priced becauce it's a very popular area for tourist. All the entertainment including many of the main music clubs you'll ever need are within a 15 minute taxi ride.

Excellent stay at Sacha's Hotel Uno”

Great room and facilities in the room + very reasonable price.
Neighbours running in and out of rooms in the middle of the night.

Sacha's Hotel Uno is located in Soi 19, just 3-5 mins walk from the Asoke BTS station and Sukhumvit MTR station. The property itself is divided into 2 converted shop lots, with the reception and lobby on one side, and the cafe on the other side. I was booked into the deluxe room and upon arrival, I noticed that they changed my room to one facing the street on the 1st floor. The room itself was great, large and comfy. But the best thing was the panel on the wall below the LCD screen which allowed me to hook up my laptop and display it on the large screen! Great for watching my collection on movies in the room! Great location, great value - highly recommended.

Excellent location, Excellent staff”

My first time at Sachas's Hotel Uno, booked it due to being handy for transport to meet my needs. On entering, clean fresh look, welcomed by staff. Was upgraded to a different room, again clean, fresh look, and of a good size. However, i felt the room felt more of a business person's room/style. Located a couple of minutes walk from Asoke BTS, Terminal 21, plenty of eating houses, 7/11. If i had one issue with the Hotel location, it's the amount of massage shops around. If you can put up with this, then Sacha's Hotel Uno is a great place to stay. Staff; very friendly, pleasant, polite and helpful, especially Aim, always took time to talk, always smiling. Would definately stay here again in the future.

Stylish and Modern Hotel”

Room is modern and clean Free Wi-Fi and lobby computer Friendly and helpful staffs 5mins walk to Asok BTS station
No swimming pool, it will be great to swim after a tiring day

We stayed at this hotel for 4nights. the location was excellent, 7-11 is just opposite, 5mins walk to Asok BTS station and 15mins taxi ride to major shopping centres, MBK, Platinum etc. Room is well furbished, very stylish and modern and the bed is very cosy. Hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful - he helped to flag a cab and loaded our luggages when we check out. Hotel breakfast is decent, there's a few street stalls along the street outside hotel selling delicious local food. Overall, a very pleasant stay at sacha's hotel uno. I'll definitely stay here again when i visits bangkok again.
