    Premier Room
Stayed 7 nights in February 2017

    A beautiful cozy resort!”

We traveled as a couple in March and stayed at Sadara for 10 nights, 7 nights at the premier room and three nights at Sadara suit. We are very happy with our stay! The resort is quite small (which is great if you'd like some peace and quiet), very cozy, beautiful and clean. Restaurant, pool bar, housekeeping, spa, security staff and management are all lovely and always ready to help! However, we found people at the reception to not be as friendly or helpful as we wished. Especially when it came to asking them for help with organizing transportation. Be very SPECIFIC and ask for a meter taxi (they call them Blue Bird taxis), otherwise the reception people will take you to the private car drivers (across the street from the hotel) or call you a private car. This will lead to you being ripped off, which happened to us the first three times we asked the reception for help. That was quite disappointing, for we thought at least our hotel will take care of us and help us to not be cheated. Oh well. The location of the resort is quite remote, but you can still find anything you want in a walking distance: convenience stores, pharmacies, Balinese restaurants, ATMs, even a Starbuck's. DO NOT exchange money on the street though, lots of scammers (they advertise a very nice rate, but then try to confuse you by counting money in theirs hands after you're done counting and slip it into a drawer behind the counter. We actually caught one, and luckily got our money back after I yelled at him hah), you can exchange your money at the hotel, you'll get the same rate as the legitimate money exchange place. Because the bay is a popular place for water sports activities, the beach area isn't particularly clean, just a lot of seaweed on the beach and in the water, it didn't stop us from swimming though. And Nusa Dua beach is only around 30000RP away. We were also very happy with the rooms; they were very clean and cozy. Our aircon was leaking for a while but it got fixed as soon as we

Spacious rooms, helpful people, awesome pool, BUT!”

The pool is very nice and deep, pool bar is handy, rooms and bathrooms are spacious, body massage was heavenly

pros: love this place and we had an awesome time staying here. it has lots of trees in it, very nature-y. very lovely. our room was always well kept and we are in speaking terms with the very nice cleaner. the breakfast has a variety of eggs and pancake station, cereal, bacons/hams/sausages, juice station, rice, fruits etc. we were very full every morning. the people who work there always greets u and serves u with a smiling face. their spa rooms are small. 2 rooms, 1 for couples and 1 for individuals, so it gets a bit of shy. the massage was very heavenly that i slept and that means its good. do not go for their body scrub or the honeymoon treatment (that includes a scrub). they massage you first then give you a scrub and a bath. the scrub was eeky. it was all yellow that stained my gel manicure for days. the shower was of very poor minimal pressure it was a complete joke. plus the common sense is to scrub, bath then relaxing massage. they provide a shuttle to bali collection - a good place to buy souvenirs but a bit costly compared to ubud market cons: * the bathroom is beautiful and spacious but the showers in the rooms were not nice at all. it was such a low pressure so it takes so long to shower. * mosquitoes were inevitable. when we arrived, we decided to open the doors while we take a nap and it was a bad idea. we were swarmed with mosquitoes when we woke up. so just avoid opening the doors. they supply you with mosquito killer which was very handy. *the beach was not nice, during low tide, its quite ugly. during high tide, nobody is swimming. it's all the same beach shared by aston, peninsula, conrad hotels - in the nusa dua - benoa area. my sister kept on telling me to stay in nusa dua which has a nice beach. i should have listened even though the hotels there are more pricey. we were there for a beach holiday and didn't really attain it :) i'm listing all the cons and pros for people to decide if they should stay in this hotel. hope it helps!

    Loved this Hotel!!!”

Friendly Staff, Beautiful Room, On the Beach, Great Pool, Quiet, Great Location, Comfortable Beds

i would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice, quiet and relaxing get-a-way in bali. it was the best hotel i have stayed in on bali! very large and spacious room with two comfortable beds, very large bathroom with a huge bath tub, each room comes with it's own balcony that overlooks a beautiful garden and courtyard. the pool is amazing with a bar that you can swim up to, next to the pool is a spa that offers $ dollar massages for an hour. i can't wait to go back to bali, i was traveling with a good friend and we had the most amazing time at this hotel. not to mention that the hotel staff were so friendly, and offered to do anything that could help improve your stay. they even brought us dinner on the beach with two other guests right on the beach with an amazing set up. breakfast in the morning was also great, there were also bars and restaurants within short walking distance if you didn't want to eat at the hotel. nusa dua is probably the best location to stay on bali if you want quiet and relaxation, other places i've stayed were very loud, which was a con, but this place was amazing. also close is the airport and if you get sick go to the bimc nusa dua hospital...nicer than some hospitals in the us!

great stay and highly recommended for honeymooners”

privacy feeling, great environment, very friendly and attentive staff

we stayed at the beach front with jakuzzi overlooking-the-sea suite room. we love the bathroom and it's spacious room. 2 nights are just not enough for both of us. definitely will come again in future. i would like to recommend to the hotel to get Halal certificate from the Indonesia government since there will be more Muslim guests coming in in future especially from neighboring country (Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and etc) and also the Middle-East travelers. all in all, we were very much happy with our 2 nights stay in Sadara Boutique Beach Resort!

    Peaceful and relaxing stay”

Clean and comfortable, quiet and great beach walkes

This place was nice. People have mentioned that it is up the road (about 2km from the main Nusa Dua beach area and shopping, but it really is only about 1 minute by taxi (which costs around $1.50AUD), so we had no issue. It was actually nice to be away from that central (more commercialised) hub. The resort is right on the water, and looks out over a large bay type area. Not great for swimming, but have all the options for watersports you like (although, these can be quite pricey, given the Nusa Dua area being a little more up-market). Also pleasant being in this area as there are hardly any hecklers trying to sell you things; just a few small huts selling the usual things dotted along the beach walk. Was a pleasant change after being in Kuta. The staff were friendly, the resort clean and tiday, and our room was very spacious and overlooked the garden and walkways throughout the resort. The breakfast was also included for us and was a large buffet style breakfast with all the usual trimmings (noodles, fried rice, omlettes made to order, bacon, cereal, pastries etc). The breakfast area looks out over the water, so is quite peaceful. Would recommend this place for families who want to relax and be close to other areas (day trips can run you around $50AUD-ish if you hire a driver for the day, and everything is pretty close-by). You can also catch a ferry from the nearby harbour in Tanjung Benoa (just north of the hotel on the point) accross to Nusa Lembongan island, which I would HIGHLY recommend, as it is a really nice, peaceful and relaxing island for a day-trip or overnight stay.

    Great beach front hotel resort”

Sadara Boutique is one of the best beach front hotel resort at Tanjung Benoa area, as long as you don't mind the older room/ furnitures and mediocre cleanliness. Friendly staffs. We enjoyed our stay and the children love the pool directly with view to beach front and have access to the beach either for swimming or water sport. The only downside is difficulty to find decent restaurants (not bar) around the area with good food and reasonable prices.

Superb resort, with clean spacious rooms and nice spa. Excellent location next to the beach with all water sports activities; and lot of shops on the main road closeby (super market, restaurants, mobile charging, money changer, etc). Sadara's restaurant is also pretty good, with quality complimentary breakfast, and unlike most other hotel restaurants, it is not over-priced compared to other good restaurants outside. They also accommodated our vegetarian requirements very well. The staff is very polite and enthusiastic. Special recognition to Tina, Eko and Hendra - they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Kudos to all the staff and the management. Would love to come back to Bali and stay at Sadara again....

    Excellent facities at low cost”

Beach front location, large pool (swim up bar), large updated rooms, friendly staff

Stayed for a week in October 2011 and another week in January 2012. Fantastic location on the beachfront ( lots of water sports available) with a 4km walking track to Nusa Dua and a courtesy bus to The Bali Collection. On the road side of the resort there is a good selection of restaurants, shops and massage places. Very friendly staff, large updated rooms with good sized balconies in a two storey resort (several in the area are 4 storey meaning more people) with large pool and a swim up bar (drinks a bit expensive for Bali). Superb value with buffet breakfast included (very good -eggs however you want them, pancakes, danishes, fruit, plus a selection of hot Asian dishes). They recently added free WiFi in the rooms and around the resort.

    Villa Bintang - great location”

Location - right on the beach, enough to do around the hotel without being busy or 'resorty'
Not many and other reviews cover:- Bland buffet breakfast. A few mosquitos to contend with. Beach is not so attractive

Kinds Villa Bintang at Nusa Dua enjoys an enviable location on this spit of land in the tropical island paradise of Bali. The hotel accommodation (deluxe) was very good with excellent service. The courtesy shuttle to the main part of Nusa Dua is useful and Bali Collection (a shopping complex) worth a visit. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. A taxi into Kuta (a more lively tourist area is 100,000 Rupiah, but take a taxi meter for less than 80,000. I am sure I was scammed for almost 1,000,000 Rupiah by a street-side money-changer but I still cannot work out how ! Use ATM's for your cash requirements, you will get a decent rate. This is not a bustling resort - read the reviews and hotel description properly and you will get what you pay for. Restaurants close around 11 pm so it is not easy eating after 10 pm - even in Kuta. Kuta is a litte 'tacky' but worth a visit. Hawkers are a nuisance and everyone is trying to get your business - you will be pestered by everyone offering you transport. Expect to pay £20 for the use of a car and driver for a day - £30 if through the hotel. Visit Ubud, Taneh Lot and the volcano/lake. The monkey forest and rice terraces should also be included. There is an annoying practice of being asked a ridiculous pricefor things i.e. I paid 2m Rupiah for paintings that had an orinal asking price of over 4m IR. Bargain hard or you will be ripped off. Care with 'over-stay' I booked 7 nights and immigration tried to charge me one day over-stay (200,000 IR) for being in Bali for 8 days - I resisted, successfully, but be warned. Hotel, resort area and island all recommended.

    Little hidden Gem ”

I have stayed at Sadara on many occasions solo and couple and it has always been what the hotel promised! It’s small and very personal! Sadara is a hotel where I go to unwind and relax. The staff are always happy and accommodating and nothing is to much. This stay I found they had changed there much needed upgrade to the food and drinks menu. It’s now very up to date and the breakfast is great. They have changed from buffet to menu order which is included and is very trendy and tasty, barista coffee which is also very nice. There are many options for eating out if you wish, The hotel is not very kid friendly but I only say that because there’s no activity for younger children and they could find themselves board, but saying that they are always welcome! If your looking for rest, chilled out place and personal almost waited on experience then Sadara is the hotel for you. I’ll always visit Sadara when I need to stop from this crazy world.

Good value in Nusa Dua, right on the beach”

    Location

This was our last stop during our trek through Bali. Stayed here two nights and the greater part of the third day - midnight flight, but late checkout rate was reasonable. We were able to shower just before our journey to the airport. Great location, and decent value for the Nusa Dua area. Within walking distance to many restaurants, which close a bit early (for us, anyway...all shut down ~10:30 pm). Wifi access was throughout the property. Had a lovely room with garden/pool views from the balcony. A/C was *fierce* (but needed). Pool area was nice, right next to the beach, and a cute little swim up bar. Breakfast was yummy, with lots of choices. The hotel rents only motorbikes, not bicycles. Overall, a nice stay. Would recommend.

    A Relaxing Stay”

    Rooms, Pool and hotel staff
The beach is not very nice

The staff at this smaller hotel are wonderful nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are very large and well appointed with a small seating area, large queen sized bed, fridge, safe deposit box and a very large bathroom with separate shower and a bath. The swimming pool is a good size with a swim up bar. It is situated closer to Benoa than to Nusa Dua but there is a good choice of restaurants outside of the hotel. For shopping head over to Nusa Dua the hotel give a free shuttle bus service, there is a large local craft market or for that designer label try out the Bali collection.

    Fabulous pool area, lovely staff”

Quiet and relaxing, great pool, laid back staff

we had never been to the nusa dua area before and are glad we stayed in benoa at one of the quieter hotels as it can get a bit plastic in this region. we took advantage of the comfortable room and fabulous pool area to relax and watch people playing on the ocean nearby but were not disturbed by these activitites. the hotel itself is nice and there were not too many people staying at all as it was a quiet 'shoulder' month which suited us just fine. the location is about 30 minutes from the airport and check-in/out was fast and easy. it seems some of the guests return each year which shows its friendly nature on the whole. the beach is nothing special but the pool area is great and one of the best on the strip for being next to the sea and breezy. some of the other hotels were much more crowded which didn't appeal to us. most of the eateries are on the road and prices are not cheap by bali standards but about right for this kind of resort area. very westernised so finding good balinese food took a bit of effort. we recommend bali sari and sate bali for some good fare. the cheapest beers and some good food options are actually to be found at the sports bar attached to the penninsular hotel (we randomly stumbled on this as do not normally go to sports bars!) - this bar has access to the hotels kitchens and it shows in the quality. the fare to the airport is if you just ask at one of the restaurants how much their 'driver' charges. we organised this at bali sari restaurant and gusti came to collect us at the hotel on time and dropped us off. simple and efficient (and much cheaper!). not sure we'd return to this area again as not really our thing but it was comfortable and we have no complaints really. would definately not recommend the nusa dua enclave. worth a visit to look at the manicured lawns and little shopping strip but there was nothing there we couldn't purchase in australia cheaper so had no appeal to us but it's obviously popular for other shoppers

Hotel is great, beach is noisy, sea crowded. ”

    Staff, room, breakfast.

I don't want to sound too negative but think it important to point out that this hotel is not part of the enclave of 5* hotels in Nusa Dua; it is in fact situated on Bali's Tanjung Benoa beach. On the basis of the photos on the web site, I envisioned I would be able to sweep along the beautiful white sands of Nusa Dua in a flowing dress, dipping my manicured toes into tranquil waters, eventually settling down to sip champagne as the sun set......the reality was that the beach outside this hotel is hardly tranquil, in fact it is particularly active, offering watersports such as Jet Ski, Banana Boat rides, Parasailing, Fly fishing etc. The sea is not welcoming; signs all along the front warn of sea urchins, and the tide seems to bring in all sorts of bits and pieces. Out of the hotel, the roads are ugly, safe pavements hardly non existent and obstacles where you least expect. Location aside, this hotel does offer value for money and the staff are absolutely lovely. The rooms are cleaned everyday, beds are made up with clean linen and towels exchanged. Our room had air conditioning that worked like a dream and the verandah outside our upstairs room gave us a place to sit and read away from the sometimes noisy poolside. When we chose to sit by the pool, we were always able to secure two of the comfy sun beds and borrow pool towels. The poolside bar offers various cocktails and mocktails as well as coffees. I had a few treatments at the Spa and found the staff their to also be lovely. Im not sure whether the therapists actually receive any training; its all a bit dressed up. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and were pleased that the hotel provided an 'egg chef' who cooked marvellous pancakes, omelettes and fried eggs to order. The breakfast ingredients were continually replenished and offered a perfect balance of western and Asian foods. Senior Management should be really pleased with the services offered by staff in all departments; they are always cheerful and po

Situated just north of the tourist ghetto of Nusa Dua, on a quiet (not for surfing) stretch of beach, this hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing stay on Bali. The rooms were spacious, spotless, with modern bathrooms, and very efficient aircon. The pool had a 24-hr swim-up bar serving their own inventive cocktails, and the view out to sea was beautiful. Staff were always helpful and courteous. Would certainly stay again.

I say this because on the beach side of the hotel there is a little way which you could walk and compare with other hotels , and sincerly Villa Bintang it´s one of the biggest and comfortable hotels.

    Fantastic feels”

It was our first time in Bali and we couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay at Sadara. We’ve booked a Premier room on the 2nd floor and the room was huge. The shower and bathtub were clean and spacious. The cleaners did an amazing job making sure we have enough toiletries and towels every day. Everyone will greet you with the warmest smile. The pool was big enough for the guests who are mostly couples/adults. The breakfast was not a buffet but they were sumptuous. Sadara is highly recommended. We will definitely be back! Well done!

lots of bees! Beach isnt that great

Beautiful big hotel, with king size beds and a large, comfortable sized room and balcony. Water Sports can be accessed right on the beach outside the hotel. Fantastic huge sized pool. Breakfast buffet was really good. They provide a shuttle bus into nusa dua (about 10min drive) where you can go to a big outdoor shopping style centre, with lots of better cheaper restaurants etc. very enjoyable stay, wish we were there for longer! A commonwealthbank right next door to this hotel and lots of little general stores. Massages etc are cheaper here, but prob not as good quality so shop around!

There is construction around the pool until Dec 20th 2018. The pool is open and very nice. There are lounge chairs and beds for you to relax on by the pool or beach. The swim up bar is under construction which also blocks part of the ocean view but there is another pool bar open for your needs. The noise from the construction is not too bad and definitely tolerable. The hotel does offer a sister's hotel facilities including pool, bar and restaurant for your use if you do not want to be disturbed by the construction (2 minute walk down the beach). The food at Sadara is excellent and reasonably priced. The free breakfast is outstanding with many options to choose from. Along with your choice of breakfast, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and toast is also served. The staff are constantly cleaning the grounds and are very attentive to all your needs. You feel very welcome and at home as every member of the staff greet you with a smile and a hello.
