The service was very good. Nothing to add. Helpful staff. Very good breakfast. We also had dinner at the asian restaurant and the food was very good. Room is cleaned everyday, so it is very clean.

Comfortable beds between Cairo city center and the pyramids ”
The beds were really comfortable. I don't like hard beds. Furthermore, the breakfast was the best we had in Egypt. Loads of choice and great taste. If you are sensitive to noise avoid the rooms on the entrance side of the building. Better go for the pool side.

The best hotel in Cairo”
The price has dramatically risen this last year for this hotel. We have stayed here many times and love it. The staff all remember us and it really is in a non yourist area where you can get anything done. Gym - thsi is good for a Cairo hotel, the staff are wonderful including the lady who runs breakfast - she is an absolute star. Yes the hotel is a bit past its glory, but and probably needs updating but it really doesnt matter. Nothing is too much trouble, the rooms are large and all with a balcony, everyone smiles, the neds are great, the pool area is always clean, the gym is mammed and always clean and the equipement kept up to date. This is our "go to" in Cairo but I have to admit the prices are now going above what is reasonable.

We have stayed here well over 10 times and also stayed in other Cairo hotels, Al Masa, Hilton etc and Safir beats them all. The staff are WONDERFUL - breakfast is the best in Cairo, the gym is good - EVERYONE at the hotel is fun and it is an example of Egyptian hospitality at its best. The rooms are large, beds comfortable, housekeeping thorough and it is our absolute "go to" when we are working in Cairo.

Fantastic hotel in Cairo”
Safir Hotel was a paradise in the middle of Cairo. The rooms were very clean and quiet, beds were huge and the toilet had everything you would need. The buffet had a very wide range of hot and cold food. Service in the buffet was very good; Muhammed, the man in charge, was very kind and funny. The taxi service provided by the hotel, Rimo Tours, worked like clockwork. To sum up, it was an extremely good choice. Next time I go back to Egypt I will definitely stay at Safir.

Great Hotel at a Wonderful Price”
Located in the residential area of Dokki a 5 minute walk to the Nile, this hotel is very clean with one of the best breakfasts of any Cairo hotel. The staff are super friendly . They have a nice swimming pool and their lunch and dinner buffets should not be missed, the variety of food is amazing. And for a 5 star hotel, the price is very affordable.

Nice hotel, worth the price”
The hotel had clean, spacious rooms and all the amenities you could ask for. The breakfast was excellent with a mix of Egyptian and Western foods. We paid a little more than a stay at another hotel but the difference in price was well worth it. We'd stay here again.

I recommend it , i give everything thing 5 stars , the location is good , the staff were very kind, friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good but the options not totally considered as a breakfast . Rooms were very good specious and clean . I liked that my room has a small balcony on the pool which is nice and finally the room service was so quick whenever we need something.

Great location and lovely staff”
We stayed for 2 nights. The location is good 500m from the metro station at Dokki, 5 minutes walk to the Nile. Breakfast was outstanding, amazing choice. One or two little bits and pieces with the room like the door locking system not opening with the key card in the first try but staff all very helpful in trying to sort it out. I have to say every member of staff we came across was so willing to help, quick to smile and very welcoming. You are not getting the 5 star qualities of the big names hotels but you are going to get excellent an excellent a Egyptian welcome

Very nice hotel in downtown Cairo. We came for the pyramids and a Nile dinner cruise and the hotel was in a decent location. Not sure if we could get much nicer hotel any closer. That being said it’s still a drive with the crazy traffic. Breakfast buffet was excellent, staff super friendly, very fair price for the quality of the hotel. Would have been 5 stars except for safe in room did not work and the balcony patio door would not lock. It is noisy at night with the barking dogs and horn honking…but maybe that can’t be

beyond my expectations ”
Amenities were more than enough, hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, a bit old though. Outside noise did not disturb my sleep. There were a few restaurants near the hotel and good local food restaurant as well, so I would say location was good. They also have PCR in the hotel. Anyway staffs were very nice, so i will definitely come back to this place.

Perfect non-Tourist Hotel, real Egyptian Hospitality ”
We stay here when we are working in Cairo and would not stay anywhere else now. This is local 5 star Egyptian hospitality and away from the tourist hotspots but still very central. You have everything you need right out of the front door and Ubers are easy. The breakfast is the best in Cairo! Seriously! Ditch the Hiltons and stay here
