Wonderful place, wonderful staff”
Excellent location if you want to practice yoga . Next to yoga barn!!
Great location, Personalized VIP service, Caring Staff ”
I was going to Yoga Barn everyday and this hotel was literally a stone throws away! Great location, right in the center of the action, near all the good restaurants, grocery, cafes, tourist spots, everything in Ubud. As for the service and staff, they treated me superbly, made sure I was always taken care of and I appreciated the fact they also went the extra mile to make my 10 day stay such a pleasant and lovely experience. Thank you to the staff of the hotel! You guys are very kind. The rooms are big, the air conditioning working great and I appreciated the vegetarian breakfast they cooked for me. Thank you again and highly recommend it. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🙌🏽
Nice little hotel”
Very nice garden, comfortable room. The price was very good and staff super friendly. The pool could be cleaner and wifi better. Other than that, i had a really nice stay and thank the staff that were super nice
large rooms and polite staffs”
The rooms are very big and cosy for all which comprises of a king sized beds. However there is no door for the toilets, resulting it to be having a lack of the privacy and security. The room is in an open area, but suprisingly there is no bugs, thus making it to be generally clean and cosy. the staffs are aslo very polite who will smile and greet you whenever you see them. There are also many lively monuments around the hotel.
Value for money !”
Receptions are firendly . The staff there help me to bring luggage into my room . The room is clean , and nice decorating. The toilet is clean . The bath tub is connected to the room directly (coverd by a shower curtain ofcourse) which mean you can simply access to the bath tub from you room wihtout go through the toilet door. The room really look romantic and suitable for couple. I will sure bring my gf here in future ! Super value for money !!
A Gem in Ubud by Leopard”
It was our second time in Bali, so we were a little bit acquainted with the place already. We were now able to view & have buffet lunch near Mount Batur and shopped at the Ubud Markets. Fortunately, we were able to buy paintings that were within our budget-they are surely triple or 5x the price that we got them. Bone Carvings from cow bones were also relatively cheap as we got them for around $2-6/piece only. A pair of wood carvings that would sell for $30-40 anywhere in the world was bargained to us at $1.5/piece only. Ubud Aura is situated in the middle of rice fields and has an eternity pool.
Blessing in Disguise”
Our stay in Ubud Hotel was made better by the change in the Hotel as Sahadewa Resort got a problem with their pipes, so we were transferred to their sister hotel, the Ubud Aura. It was a pleasant surprise as our room was huge and new. The only con was the presence of a few mosquitoes, however, it didn't ruin our vacation as there are a lot of positives that we can think of-the place itself, the staff, the art markets, the views, shopping, and they even gave us free breakfast for two days even if it wasn't included with the Sahadewa hotel booking.
Very nice, but loud construction above our room starting at 1am ”
Great room, very clean! Nice pool, never used it but it looked nice and clean. The day staff was very nice and held the room for me even though I was having problems booking on Agoda. The night shift person was first no where around, and then I’m not even sure if the man that appeared from the dark even worked for the hotel, but he said he did, and he was so beyond drunk he couldn’t even stand up straight and made zero sense. We needed the night staff to help with the loud noise- for some odd reason there was construction happening on the floor above our room in the middle of the night and it lasted a few hours. It lasted until I stood up on the bed and used a bottle of water to bang on the ceiling and yelled to be quiet over and over. That was around 2am. Better night staff and a controlled environment would’ve helped my review.
The hotel is well located and it was near to the main streets with good restaurants and gift shops. The room was very good with some traditional Bali shower which brings more of their culture to your stay. The only problem was regarding the security man of the hotel that didn't allow my friend and I to catch a Grab's car. It seems that this is still a great issue in Bali and we as tourists hope to solve soon in order to give us the option of not having to bend to ridiculous taxi charges and fares. I state as a problem because the security guy waited until the car arrived to say to us that we couldn't get it, instead of doing it before as we were with lots of bags. To be even worse he actually laughed at our face together with a taxi young/teenager man and both of them kept saying we only could get a Grab's car 3km away from there. This kind of attitude is not for a hotel employee to have - they should have tried to solve it their guest's problems instead of creating them.
I think i paid $30ish a night, i know mad price”
Pros Affordable Pool Huge room Friendly staffs Air conditioner works great Has bathtub Enjoyed much!
great food, comfy room”
We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean, and fresh fruit was delivered to our door. The restaurant offered a variety of local and western foods that were reasonably priced and tasty. We were within walking distance of most of the main sites, but the reception helped us with transport for a day trip. The only downsides were that there was no door on the bathroom, simply a curtain between the bed and the bath tub, and that the wifi was only available in the reception area.
Excellent Hotel...great location”
We stayed here for 2 nights while in Ubud. This hotel is beautiful. Lovely gardens and the staff were always friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay here again. Very good value. The only slight downside was the breakfast...a little bit limited but there was enough of everything.
Great rooms, garden and pool.”
Great! Efficient and helpful desk staff. They made dinner reservations for me twice and knew the opening and closing hours of museums in the area. Umbrellas for the taking at the front desk. (Nice touch) The ARMA museum is a 7 min. walk and has a wonderful museum with great grounds. Be sure to walk behind the museum buildings themselves as the lead to the ARMA resort ground which are stunning. They also do night time performance -wonderful and the restaurant is quite good as well. Loved the ARMA! Taco Casa is a 4 min. walk to the left-yum. And if you want a delicious dinner, make reservations at Melting Wok Warung (its small-- you need reservations). Run by a French woman married to a cook from Laos--he has developed his own menu which is lmited but out of this world in deliciousness. I loved my time in Ubud and Sahadewa!
Beautiful and Relaxing”
I loved it here! Stayed 4 nights recently. Solo traveler, this place is just right for a couple or solo traveler. Romantic rooms, great cleaning service. Pool was gorgeous and no one was ever there when I was there so it was quiet and peaceful. Just a reminder to people that the bathroom is not a separate room, there is a curtain to set it off from main room but if traveling with a friend and not a partner it's good to know this maybe. Bed was so comfy, the room decor quite special. I took a deluxe garden view room rather than a pool room. Pool was a 7 second walk and I think the garden rooms are bigger. One day I slept until 1 pm cuz the room was so wonderfully quiet. Great Stay! The pinapple juice (shake) in the a.m. was so nice. Bacon good, sausage was yuck.
Architectural style attracts”
The hotel arranged pickup from the Ngurah Rai International Airport, so convenient. The staff were very helpful and knew our names. In spite of the main street being busy and noisy, once in the grounds of the hotel, the noise had gone. The human-sized building two story, made access easy.
Big room and lovely staff”
lovely stay at sahadewa. only complaint was mattress in our room was lumpy. mentioned it to staff at reception, they were grateful i had let them know and said it would certainly be attended to. i had one of the best facials i have had in their little spa area.
lovely rooms with a great service”
The sahadewa hotel is a nice hotel with a good service. I am trying the massage there, and it is a good experience. The food was good, also the location is near to ubud palace. The place very relaxing and comfort for rest and better for couple. The room interior is minimalist decoration with the open bath seperate by curtain. It is a nice experience to refreshing from hectic situation.
We stayed at Sahadewa Resort & Spa 5 nights in total and it was quite ok. Is is traditional Balinese older style premise with a Padlock as your security. Rooms are big and also cleaned every day but no safe. Breakfast was quite ok, but nothing special. Supermarket and Monkey Forest is really close. So in overall it was ok.
Nice rooms, good location”
The hotel is quite clean and beautifully landscaped. The room is beautiful and spacious; and the bathroom is particularly nice, although it’s quite open. The swimming pool is small but clean. The hotel has quiet and relaxing atmosphere; and the location is quite convenient. It is very close to Bebek Bengil restaurant and within walking distance (about 15 mins walk) to monkey forest and some shops.
