Good location but run-down hotel.”

the hotel was run-down and the only reasons why i chose it is be cause of its price and location. don't expect anything else apart from that. the room was pretty basic, and the aircons looked like they were changed recently. although we didn't have any problem with the bathroom, it was in a worse condition that we expected. things were working fine just that they are really in need of a change. we were told that hot water was only available from 5pm till 12 midnight. the water was just warm, but not hot. there was free wifi in the lobby but we had trouble connecting to the network. ok place for transit, but i don't suppose you can stay here for more than 2 nights. if you want comfort and some service, stay somewhere else.

My first impression about this hotel, was this hotel is very old. All the furniture in my room was very old (from 70's maybe), there is small tube TV with blurr picture, also a bathtub, with many stains on it. On my second day, there is a blackout in the hotel. Beside all worst thing, this hotel still have good...

Average hotel with good location”

it is located at the city centre. the price is reasonable. its an old hotel with outdated facilities.

the hotel service and room condition are nice, far beyond my expectations, for its relatively less price.

Old Hotel”

The hotel was aged. It was built in 1972 and unlike in the pictures. The room was stone aged and spacious. The bathroom was clean but all the equipments were comming from 20th century. There was no effort from the hotel to upgrade them. The aircon though still giving its cooling effect. It was quite noisy.The only window in the rooms was providing good views to the pool but it could not lock properly. Security was minimum. Food was ok

This is supposedly a 3* hotel but the lobby was terribly dark with decrepit furniture & dusty paintings that i assumed were supposed to be decorations. The receptionist could not find my agoda reservation despite me bringing the booking sheet... he finally gave up and just gave me a key to a room. And what a room it was! First, the elevator doors don't close completely and i've ridden construction lifts better than this one. The room door was plywood with manual key, toilets didn't flush properly, hot water was non-existent, towels looked dirty, bathtub/ shower awful & the initial burst of brown gunk was just disgusting... Please, for your own sake, never stay here (at least until they do a complete refurbishment)... Other complaints: no in room safe deposit box, ceilings too low, there was rubbish outside my window uncleaned during my stay & i guess probably had been there for ages...

Nice location in the center. Close to shopping mall and pasar 45. Nicer from the outside then rooms inside, but ok.

The service is low standard. Not sufficient good standard for breakfast, room is too old, and the ambient lobby and other facilities are too old. However, it has a very strategic city spot.

Das Sahid Kawanua Hotel ist ein großes Hotel in der Stadtmitte. Viele Geschäfte und Kaufhäuser befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Mitarbeiter sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vollkommen ausreichend. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Wifi funktioniert leider nur im Restaurant und in der Lobby. Das Preis – Leistungsverhältnis würde ich als ausgewogen beurteilen.

Ja, voor de prijs 180.000 rp ( €12,=) kan je niet veel verwachten. Ik ging er alleen naar toe, om met mijn dochtertje te zwemmen. En moest ook wat boodschappen doen op de 45 en de Samratulangi...Hotel in de oude binnenstad. Dus twee vliegen in één klap.

Mohon perhatikan lagi fasilitas hotel seperti kamar mandi yang tidak bersih, wastafel rusak/bocor, tidak ada sendal hotel, meja di kamar ada yang rusak dan telpn di kamar hotel yang rusak... Saya tidak minta pindah kamar, karena seharusnya pihak hotel sudah mempersiapkan terlebih dahulu kamarnya sebelum tamu menginap di hotel Sahid Kawanua... Semoga kedepan pelayanannya lebih baik lagi... Terima kasih payanan 2 malam di hotel Sahid Kawanua Manado
