Amazing location and Beautiful Place”
However, if you are one for service first and foremostly like I am this probably won't be the place for you. It wasn't that the staff weren't friendly or polite, they were, but there was a serious language barrier which seriously slowed things down and there was a lot of pantomime to try and resolve issues. What the place could be in terms of looks is a five star hotel but the staff are lacking in training, service and communication skills for the level they are aspiring. Hopefully this place can improve with that as it was a great spot but sometimes incredibly frustrating. Serving expensive cocktails at the pool bar with no ice, taking 15 mins to make one drink, closing the bar earlier than scheduled every night are all pretty poor things to note. Shuttles didn't leave on time. My phone didn't work in the room so I couldn't order room service. There were so many small points I can't go into them all. But if this place can do some fine tuning they will make massive head way

fantastic view, great staff and also great service.”
It's such a wonderful place to escape from the busy town. Great view, great staff and also great service. The coconut oil massage was awesome. You could chose to get it in your room or on the beach. Food from the restaurant was tasty as well, but the breakfast was just so-so. Last but not least, you could go snorkeling from the beach which you could see many kinds of fish and corals. All in all, how i could get rid of any point!

A true gem on Koh Tao”
Situated on one of the best snorkeling areas on Koh Tao (we saw 5-6 sharks merely 300 meters from the hotel). It is quiet, the resort provides free shuttle to/from the pier and Sairee beach (good for food). The room we had was right at the beach, which made for exquisite morning routine. Breakfast is good, with eggs made to order. Lunch and dinner are available at the restaurant. Decent food, especially good for when you just want to spend the day not moving anywhere. Otherwise, you can jump to Sairee for some really delicious food. Staff was always positive and attentive. A minor setback was that their English ranged from poor to decent to good, and you had to speak to several people sometimes for simple things. But there was no harm done, so, all good :) Note that the prices they offer for daytrips are higher than what you can easily negotiate at the pier. Trip to Nang Yuan cost 1000 THB for two at the hotel, and we got it down to 600THB with the first guy who appoached us. Overall - a peaceful, quiet, romantic place, with a great beach for lazying and snorkeling and kayaking. Smiling people, ok food, and free transport to the island hubs for more. Recommended!

Great spot”
Great spot with great snorkelling. Need to be in reasonable shape to deal with the considerable walking...especially steps.

Nice location but everything else to be desired”
Initially the hotel wowed us with its beautiful location and room right on the beach. Unfortunately that's where the niceness ended. Everything is very expensive in the resort, including transfers to get out of it. Often we were stuck in the resort so we had no choice but to eat there. We were under the impression that they had a restaurant but only a beach bar, it didn't seem they were ready or busy enough to open a proper restaurant. We saw at one point them doing a photo shoot of menu food so guessing they're planning on opening this in the near future. Cleaning of the room left a lot to be desired, no topping up of toilet roll etc and sheets not well made. They threw away toiletries and razors which didn't need to go in the bin and would have still been used. One day we couldn't leave the room due to a storm, so we ordered room service. The food was great but expensive. The service also ended there as the dirty plates were left for 2 days despite repeated conversations with reception to clear. Guy at the front desk is kind, but useless. When we tried to bring up points of feedback they just apologise but don't do anything about it. The final nail in the coffin was on check out, when we were presented with a bag full of dirty bed sheets and told we must pay £65 to have them cleaned (!) the sheets weren't ours for a start, and secondly what hotel pulls out dirty soiled sheets on their reception desk and picks at them asking what the stains are and if we did them?! I've never been so embarrassed in my life. There were lots of staff there at the time and other guests. We disputed the fact and said for sure we knew they were not our sheets and we would not be paying. This lead to the reception guy to have a lengthy Thai conversation on a radio, then asked us again if we did it (more of an interrogation by this point - looking me in the eyes to see if I was lying) before saying 'ok then you can check out now'. I don't even know how to describe how awful this was

Excellent for Visual Enjoyment & Mental Relax”
- Very good location, choose rooms with seaview is a must _ Clean and Prviate Beach _ Resturant and Bar with best view _ Young and Nice Service Team _ must spend to walk around the hotel site, remeber to go to the Lookout Point _ swiming pool with good view, remember go to zone B to try the water slide Warm Reminder - Free shuttle at 20:00-22:30, better to have dinner near the pier - Many stairs and slope to walk inside this site, consider is must if you go with elderly - no shop inside this site, suggest to buy many drinks and snacks near the pier before you take the free shuttle bus to checkin - free to use the tools for snorkeling and little boat. Using them to gain many fun!

Lovely resort but a lot can be improved”
It's a new resort and could be fantastic but there are teething problems that need fixing before it can truly be fantastic. The ferry pick up is not straightforward. The restaurant is over priced and sometimes the chef isn't there so can't prepare from the special Thai menu. I'd suggest going to the neighbouring resort coral bay for lunch/dinner as it is much more reasonable with an extensive Thai menu. Not western food like Sai Daeng. We had rain one day and my room had a leak. I called reception but they didn't understand and so it took me the next morning to sort it out with them. I got a taxi from the resort into Sairee and requested a return. I had to call the hotel as the driver hadn't turned up after 45mins! Some things are a bit of a shambles but the pool, beach and rooms are beautiful and there is a lot they can do to improve your stay.

Will Be Returning”
Just completed a stay here and im happy to report that they have sorted out the breakfast issues that other reviews mention. We had a great meal every morning and the staff was very attentive. We were lucky that the resort was fairly empty when we stayed, the facilities are great and I don't think there's a better private beach on the island. Transfer from the pier and nightly shuttles was very convenient. Also no one told us about the giant water slide, we just stumbled across it when exploring the resort - really cool!
