Stunning location”
Tricky to find but once I got there. Wow. The place is amazing. Arrived at 2pm and just looking at the view until 6 pm when they brought my dinner. So good I stopped a bit longer and would like to live here! Not far from National park ( and a lovely drive) and an hour out of Chiang Mai for some fresh air and peace. And elephants in the river 1 km away. What more could you want

The two bedroom family room is a little old and slightly dark, it will be good to have more lights and better facilities to engage the guests. Scenery is very beautiful with a stream flowing downwards with fresh air.

Drove up from Chiang Mai to go to nearby elephant sanctuary on day 1 then on to stupas and the peak day 3. Lovely spot to break the journey. Average breakfast included but everything we needed. Would recommend for group or family. Waterfall location makes the place - great for paddling.

Mountain Get Away”
My husband and I spent two nights at Sai Nam Wang Resort and absolutely loved it. We stayed in the Ton Nam Small house and it was perfect for the two of us. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a little chilly during the night time but the blankets were more than enough to keep warm. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. They spoke perfect English and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant over looked the waterfall that ran through the resort grounds and the food was delicious. The resort grounds and the surrounding area was very peaceful and relaxing and exactly what we were looking for in our weekend away from Chiang Mai city.

Calm and serene, this place by the river is a quiet haven ”
My partner and I stayed at Sai Nam Wang for three days and that formed the most relaxing leg of our Thailand trip. The resort is by the river and through the day and night, the sound of the flowing water works at removing our city stress. Whan and Naythan; our hosts were cheerful. The resort was well stocked with beers etc and they cook with their home grown fruits and vegetables. The rooms are well ventilated, lit and hygienic. The weather was a comfortable 25 + through the day and the evenings were at a pleasant 20 something. I'd suggest you to carry a book along with you as the literature in their library is mostly in Thai. There are board games for the tranquil evenings and even a bonfire if you asked Naythan for it. It's worth every penny we paid for it and then some more.

Stay cut short”
This was our second time to Sai Nam Wang resort and we enjoyed it again. Unfortunately there was a huge thunderstorm that knocked the power out so we decided to cut our stay by one night. The staff was very understanding and helped us to get our things packed up before the second round of storms hit. We will definitely stay with them again.

quiet resort in the mountains”
the place is like a village resort, situated in the mountains. expect insects. however, that itself is part of the charm as there is a stream running alongside the resort. the place is situated in between chiang mai and doi inthanon. me and my gf stayed there for 2 nights. takes 1 hr by bike to get to doi inthanon. facilities are better than homestay in doi inthanon, which is the reason why we chose there. food is cooked every morning and dinner by the staff living in the resort itself. there is a cat as well that is super friendly.

Nice, Clean, Next to Small Waterfall”
The Staff was very friendly and assisted us in packing our breakfast early, as we have to leave the resort early in the morning to catch the sunrise at Doi Inthanon. The bonus was there is a beautiful resident cat, who is very friendly as well. (For cat lovers)

Lovely little romantic resort”
We had a great time. The staff were so sweet. Perhaps a little overpriced but we still felt it was good value. Food was good and plentiful. The area was about half way between Doi Intanon and Chiangmai which is a little far from both but it had its own beauty and we were surrounded by nature. A short walk in the mornings found us at beautiful water falls and wild elephants.

Lovely little hideaway ”
Myself and my partner booked this place for a couple of nights peace and quiet, lovely location a waterfall running through the resort. The staff were very helpful and friendly and cooked us some delicious food. Only negative was no WiFi (understandable as we were in the country) and quite uncomfortable bed. Very happy with our stay here

The room was ok. There were ants everywhere as it is close to summer. The cook is very attentive. She came to get us at dinner time. She was very helpful to us. The surrounding is very peaceful and close to nature. It is great if you want a quiet place to stay and read a book.

It was so nice to stay here due to the room decoration which was so warm and the small natural waterfall was so cool which made us feel so relieved. The staffs were so eager to service but the entrance was not that clear. We attempted many times to find the entrance. The breakfast was simple, an american breakfast.
