Great resort, but no food”
we arrived 3 families meeting for a weekend at sai ngam beach resort. there was initial confusion about our reservation, but once the reservation was found everything was fine. the villas were clean and quite comfortable for our family. we had 2 adults and 2 children in our room and there was plenty of space for the extra bed and getting around. we had a good stay at the resort, but they are not prepared to serve meals or even morning coffee. we asked for sugar with breakfast, which was part of our reservation, and they said they didn't have any sugar or milk for coffee or tea. i would stay here again but expect to bring my own coffe and eat all meals in the village where the food was wonderful and you could sit along the sea.

Nice resort for peace and quiet”
we stayed for 3 nights in the tent which we found to be a pleasant experience. the tent was a nice size with a tv, fridge and good a/c and was very clean. as an american the tv was not good as the cable provided was mostly in thai - no english stations. bedsheets were clean and bed (queen size) comfortable but only 1 bedside lamp for reading but not really a big deal. the tents seem a bit on the older side but the zippers work properly - important for a/c, safety and keeping bugs out. only complaint about the room was the shower - low water pressure and hard to regulate the hot water - it was either too hot or too cold and impossible to get warm water. but loved the outdoor bathroom feel. the pool was nice but over chlorinated. didn't notice the filter on and needed the bottom to be vacuumed. they provided abf breakfast that was plentiful and good but nescafe coffee not fresh brewed. many seaside restaurants are 10 min walk along beach. overall the resort is very nice for peaceful rest. husband & wife owners very friendly and attentive as were the small staff.

Beautiful Hotel with an excellent Service”
I was in a Villa really beautiful, nice Shower everything was nice. There are some moscitos but i mean.... come on its thailand every where are moscitos. Its not for People who wants eat pizza and Hamburger..., its like traditional Thai. Location is perfect there is a pool about 100meter from the beach, Not to much people. Service is really friendly, 10 minutes walk to the restaurants on the beach.really cheap and much food.But there is no supermarket or Atm or disco or Bar.I was there with my Mum ,son and Wife and my son was happy to play at the beach(only 3 minutes from the room) i enjoyed at the beach. Its the perfect place to enjoy and relax.After 3 days i was bored cause there was not much sun.But there are also Dive and snorkel possibelity.Adventure, its 100procent natural.really quiet. can stay all night at beach make fire or barbecue. It's my real Honeymoon. Fantastic!!”
Here is a romantic place in my list I have ever been before. You know what, with There is 2 type of Chic and different room styles. For me, i love Luxury tent because it sounds like you are stay in the forest but no it's the sea and also outdoor bath room for 2 of us which is surrounding by nice natural decoration. Also has air-cond , cable TV. especially cleaned bedding. Umm good smell! Moreover, Terrific! is swimming pool dinner with seafood BBQ around natural and breezy at the sunset time, For surroundings, We love much because there is private beach for us. So we can do activities by ourself we can walk hold our hand together along the beach without distrubing from others. It's my real Honeymoon. Fantastic!

Quiet small beach resort with privacy”
we stayed in the tent with air con , outdoor shower , and settelite tv. the breakfast also in good quality with good care and service by owner. the beach is far away from public hence very privacy. anyway , the resort is quite a distance from mainroad ; you need your own transportation. there are couple of local restaurant near by with good quality seafood and reasonable price. our little boy also enjoy a small resort swimming pool after his sea swim.

Lovely resort, but eat elsewhere”
after getting our rooms straightened out, they had trouble finding our reservation, we were delighted at the large, clean villas. the grounds were lovely and our children loved the pool and areas to run and play. the sea was rough and windy the days we were there, but it was a nice, long stretch of beach and on a calm day would be fun to play in the sea. eat in the small village just down the road from the resort. there are a couple good little resaurants along the sea that serve excellent and inexpensive food. the resort was not really set up to serve breakfast or any other meals. we found out later they had ordered food for us from a local restaurant and brought it to us as their own, way overcharging us as well.

Authentic Thai Hotel with wooden construction.....”
this hotel is definitely not easy to find, and (navigation) help can be hard to get, when you are traveling across areas without phone signal....our navigation system had failed to capture the address printed on the hotel voucher, so that we had to seach by trial and error. yet the hotel is truly nice and authentic, and the staff is helpful and friendly at all times... the disadvantage of booking this hotel--as opposed to a city hotel in chumphon---is that you are traveling over provincial roads, without gas stations, and when you need to return to the major highway, you need about 45 min. to 1 hour to get there.

At Bang Bao beach, I think Sai Ngam beach resort is only one big resort that complete with all convenience things for your stop over there. The room is quite big and decorate in wood country style.The hotel exterior full of local tree and the beach just in front of the room about 100 metre.Anyway, the staff was impolite and none of electrical turn on at the pool and side walk at night

Lovely resort direct at the sea”
We stayed in this resort for only one night but enjoyed it very much. We were basically the only guests in the whole place. Getting into resort was very difficult, as it has not been signposted on the roads. We spend a couple of hours asking locals until a lovely family guided us on their motorbike. Another point of critique was a very minimalistic breakfast, not typical for other Thai hotels we visited.

Neglected.”
Lots of deferred maintenance. ALL of the lounges around the pool were badly cracked and painful if legs or butt were caught. Badly bitten by sand fleas. Spraying required. Pool not regularly cleaned. Beach was awash in garbage at the high water mark. All rooms are a good walk from the pool and the beach. No WIFI in the rooms. Breakfast was disapointing to say the least. The 1/2 cup of "Coffee" provided was undrinkable. We checked out before our paid stay was complete. Booked motorcycle rentals through the front desk. Asking price was triple going rate throughout the country and then the bikes did not show up as promised.

Nightmare from start to finish”
It took us over 2 hours to find as the only signs were in Thai and we couldn't find a Thai that understood any English in a 10 mile radius. We ended up finding it by chance. Receptionist just laughed. The villas we stayed in weren't too bad apart from having no hot water and being full of ants. It's in a loveley position with its own beach. The pool was filthy with the pool lights floating on the surface so we gave that a miss. No pool bar was open as stated so we had to leave the complex to get a drink. I'd say the place caters more for Thais as the breakfast the Thai guests were tucking into was a lot more appealing to the one that was given to us. We wasn't given any choice of what to have, just give some scrambled egg with dry bread. It does have satellite tv as stated but what is not said is that all of the 200 channels are in Thai

It's a nice place to stay with the nature, clean, peaceful and nice atsmosphere. If you are lucky, you will have a chance to met the small monkey come to visiting you on the tent during the night. It's amazing that you are closed to the real nature. Just's try it.
