A True Retreat”
A gorgeous, well maintained wooden house. It really felt like home while we were there. Photo opportunities at every corner. Great food, great location and ferry service. Very close to Noirphoto gallery and Riverside cafe. I would recommend Riverside Retreat to my friends and would come back again.

Not easy to locate the place. Have to call and ask the hotel to send a boat for pick up before go to the pier in The River Cafe. Staffs are all very friendly; Rooms are a little bit old but still very nice and comfortable; Garden is beautiful and very well maintained. A nice place for weekend getaway!

Water pressure in the bath tube is very low. The resort should advertise that the location is on the other side of the river and the only access is by boat.

Paradise Sanctuary across the Saigon River ”
At first the idea of getting there from the airport was thought to be a challenge but I was wrong! It was a quick decent ride in the cab where you'll be dropped off at Thao Dien Village in the District 2 area (which itself is a boutique hotel) with a pier. I was met by Linh and her team at the port and hopped on the JET SKI. Amazing experience! As I stepped into the village I fell in love with the peaceful surroundings. Even the doggies greeted me in front of the main entrance. Such a memorable welcoming experience and not to mention the family of ducks and the beautiful garden as well. The antique dark wooden house was so breathtaking with a very Indochina Vietnamese interior mixture of East-meets-West design. I was amazed at how clean and comfortable everything was. Breakfast in the open airy hall was the best way to start my morning while I enjoyed my tasty bowl of Pho accompanied seasonal fruits and drinks. Linh and her team were outstandanding I would definitely come back!!

Seclusion ”
We wanted somewhere secluded for part of our saigon journey, and that's exactly what we got, lovely room and fantastic staff, i couldn't have asked for more,we were only a £2 speedboat ride away from the town, so if we wanted to, we could go outside, but it was the serenity we wanted, so chose to stay, id thoroughly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the city to relax

Romantic stay at secret place ”
It was awesome experience with this homestay. It tully is beyond just homestay. Same quality as a hotel. Staff is always responsive and helpful. Room is enough huge for 2 person. Place is inconvenient but easy to go access famous spots in Dist 2. If pay 200,000VND, they will take us anywhere along river side for private use. Don’t miss it.

The homestay is Vietnamese wooden house in a quiet and peaceful corner of Sai Gon River. It is far away from noisy city but providing a canoe experience each outting.You can immerse yourself in the peaceful and buzzling-free village life of local Vietnamese, as you cycle through small roads in between lotus ponds, smell the fresh grass in the air, and listen to crickets as they sing you to sleep.Around the port you can find some local restaurant ,hotal spa and family mart which is very convenience and also comfortable.The lady of the homestay is very nice ，thoughtful and enthusiasm.We will come again next holiday.

Over Priced, Not worth going.”
This Hotel is might be a hidden gem for others, but not the case for me. 1- Location The place is a homestay house by the river, it takes a speedboat to take you from one side to the other. The speed boat is not free. VND40,000 per person each time. It's not that convenient considering you need to pay each time you leave the place. 2- Facility. The bed is not comfortable, it's the basic mattress. the blanket are pretty old, you can see some stain on the switch of the light, and on the wall of the bathroom. It's not dirty, but if any place charge 100+USD, these should be taken care of. 3- No dinning place, and breakfast is just alright. Think this, you need to pay each time you get across the river, but there isn't any food or entertainment from the homestay, so you basically have to use the speedboat for your lunch and dinner. so only for transportation, I spend like VND 320000. the bottle water in the room are not free either. Breakfast is standard noodles, you have to order a day earlier. Overall, I don't like this homestay. It's not convenient enough for business travelers, not comfortable enough to spend your vacation at, and same price you could find much better options. Don't get me wrong, the crew treated me well, but it's just this homestay location, price, and services doesn't make sense to me.

Such a nice peaceful place!!!”
Highly recommend for vacation or a short getaway. We only enjoyed 1 night but the staffs were more than helpful to accompany us as much as they can! A little place with garden, flowers and great view from our bedroom. :) We had an electricity cut in the morning before check out so couldnt see anything to pack, but a staff (a thin friendly guy with glasses) had called and make sure they were trying to solve the problem. So I think this is a plus to stay where your safety is cared for. Simple vnese breakfast that you need to choose from the day before, but the nice fruit and view actually made up for it. Overall, will def come back if we have a chance! ^^

Great retreat from city”
Make sure you bring jacket with you since we need to go to the hostel by boat at noon. Sun burnt. Also we had bad electric issue at night. So we had no moved to another room. Other than that, the staying was awesome. Nice room, friendly staff, best breakfast experience when my family had it by the river, feel the breeze and the food was amazing. Would love to go back

Oasis of peace, beautiful traditional homestay. The only issue was that the only way to get to the hotel was with the boat. But they leave you their number and can call them to pick you up at anytime.
