Perfectly placed for shopping and theater-going, this central London hotel is close to Oxford Circus and the West End. Just around the corner from Oxford and Regent Streets, the Saint Georges Hotel is in the center of London's main retail precinct with access to every part of London possible by bus or tube. The hotel's rooms are modern in style and feature free internet and cable TV, some affording generous views over the city skyline - a view that can also be enjoyed from the hotel's restaurant and bar. On the street, guests have all the excitement and glamor of central London at their disposal.

Excellent hotel in perfect location.”
I spent 8 nights in Saint Georges Hotel and it was a great stay. The hotel is old and under renovation, but the room is big and clean, there is everything one can need for a comfortable stay-from good Wi-Fi to hairdryer, mini fridge and kettle.Bed is good, there was a small sitting area and room was cleaned every day.Staff is very polite and efficient, they let me stay a few more hours after check out too.And you can't beat the location-in a heart of all shopping action,on Regent St. 5 minutes walk to Oxford St.Station and every huge department store one can think of. Carnaby st. is 10 minutes walk, there are many eateries on the street and bus stop. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the location alone, but its good in general and fantastic value for money.
Location trumps all”
The best feature of the Saint Georges was definitely the location: in Oxford Circus, right in the heart of Central London. The room and always were quiet despite the busy outside atmosphere and ongoing renovations. The breakfast was decent with basic features like juice, cereals, danishes, etc. The breaky however may have been a bit underwhelming for me only because I arrived close to the end of it when everything was being packed up, so that may have the reason for the minimal choices! Overall great hotel with good staff, fabulous location and good hotel features.
An affordable stay in the center of London”
The Saint Georges Hotel is a good place for people, looking for an affordable stay in the center of London Soho. The room is clean for my standard, the furniture is a used but the beds are still very comfortable. Overall, it was a very good stay for the rate, so I won´t complain to much. We didn´t had breakfast in the hotel, so we can´t comment on this. The view of the bar is amazing. The only negativ thing: I couldn´t get an invoice when I checked out. The staff said that everything is done online and I will receive the invoice via mail, which I didn´t got until now. This means I can´t get in touch with somebody to change the invoice to the company address to claim back the payment, as it was a business travel. Never had this issue before while travelling, but I will figure out how to get an invoice. Overall it was a good place to stay us, as we just slept there and enjoyed the city of London in the rest of the time!
One night in Londo”
This Hotel has fantastic veiws across London if you are lucky enough to be on one of the higher floors. The bedroom was beautifuly decorated and very clean. The Hotel is just off Oxford Street so very handy for all the shops and attractions. There are plenty of resteraunts to choose from very close to the hotel. Overall the staff were very pleasant and helpful. This is probably the best hotel at this price that I have stayed at in the center of London.
Good value for location ”
Firstly, hotel advertises itself as Bloomsbury but technically it is not in Bloomsbury but near W1 BBC. So if you want Bloomsbury you need a taxi. If need to be by the BBC, ideal. Very misleading and would hold the advertiser to account for that. Secondly, hotel is shabby in the room. Ripped carpet, aged bathroom, bed throw that has seen better days. However, it was clean, the bed comfortable, had the necessary room gadgets (kettle, tea, Nescafe powder and milk) and if you are facing the right way, a good view over over the main road looking towards the high end Langham Hotel and street scenes towards Regent Street (ideal for shopping). Downside. Apart from the misleading location name, the corridor smelled of drains but as there are works going on outside the hotel, this might be being addressed. To summarise, located at top of Regent Street, good view from 11th floor upwards, comfy bed, good price, functional. Oh, and usefully, taxi rank a few yards away for quick transportation
Minutes walk to Oxford Circus Station”
Hotel is just minutes walk to Oxford Street. Check in and out was a breeze. Asked for a room with a view but was not given one. Still, you could manage the great view from their restaurant, top floor. Internet was not stable and the duty manager was really kind to reboot the modem for us. We had great Internet connection for that one time and then it was back to unstable connections the next days. Rooms were cleaned daily, towels provided, bath robes, amenities, still and sparkling mineral water bottles. Kettle for boiling hot water a big plus, with babies. Bed was comfortable, made daily. The only thing that was obviously not cleaned is the carpet. Dusty and with stains. Baby was confined to the bed during our stay. Staffs were very friendly, checking on us to make sure our stay was pleasant. We are very happy and are already planning for another trip to London!
Good hotel in excellent location.”
I booked this hotel last minute so got quite a good deal. The hotel is undergoing some renovations but I was on a high floor and did not really notice the ongoing work. The room was a good size considering its central London location and while a few parts need updating it was clean and comfortable. The hotel seemed to have limited facilities with only a small reception but this may be changing with the current work going on. The main selling point for this hotel is the excellent location, 1 min from Oxford Circus, right next to BBC Broadcasting House and opposite (the much pricier) Langham hotel and for the price the room size and quality were great value.
Fair deal”
The building is hoplessly sixties, somewhat worn down, but the room is perefectly clean and flawlessly serviced. The staff was very helpful, assisting in checking in and printing the boarding passes, ordering transfer for dawn, urging it, when it was a few minutes late and in giving general advice. Tee and biscuit is offered in the room the temperature of which can be regulated by the guest. We stayed on floor 12, that had a marvelous view and was prefectly silent , even if it weas only three minutes from Oxford Circus. The price of the room is not modest in European comparison but understandable in the London context
A Quiet Pleasure”
Hotel is five minutes walk from Oxford Circus, great location but traffic noise never an issue. Good sized room, good view (its next to All Souls Church and the BBC so if you have a south facing room the view, especially at night when the church is floodlit, is quite spectacular). Best power shower I have ever experienced, decent tv and in-room facilities. WiFi was tad random - the only downside, really. Would definitely stay again next time we're in London.
Excellent location, good value.”
Excellent location, opposite the Langham Hotel and the BBC and near Regent and Oxford Street. Incredible value for such a centrally located hotel and good size rooms for London. Some things could do with a little updating (but i believe this is happening in the near future) but still a great hotel to choose as nearby places are much more expensive.
Location was perfect”
The hotel has the perfect location. Although the hotel was quite old (single glass windows), the rooms were nice. Nevertheless, the bedroom was too hot. We turned off the airco but it was still 26 degrees in our bedroom and we couldn't open a window. After all, we had a terrible night since the bed was quite small and it was too hot. And this during winter, while it was 4 degrees Celsius outside. But the breadfast was great. Especially because we didn't expect to much of a English breakfast, But there were enough choises and it was delicious. So in general we were satisfied. It was what we had in mind for a 4star hotel in the middle of London with an average price low against the other 4 star hotels.
Consistent Standards”
I wrote a review of this hotel not too long ago as I regularly stay there every time I travel to London. The hotel maintains a consistent standard of service always to my satifaction as a business traveller who looks for somewhere comfortable to stay in and ready accessibility to different modes of transport to get to different parts of London.
Awesome hotel on Regent Street!”
The hotel location was second to none. Right on Regent Street and walking distance to everywhere you would want to go in London. Fantastic cafes and restaurants nearby, barely a 2 minute walk to Oxford Street and the staff were just excellent. Excellent value for where it was.
Excellent”
Excellent location, spacious room, amazing view and very accomodating staff. I was in London with a good friend and we stayed in a spacious twin room on the 14th floor. The view from the room was amazing! We could see the London Eye and the east side of the city.
Not 4 star”
Disappointed with the hotel. Couldn’t find the entrance as work being done so covered scaffolding hid the hotel itself. Very dirty outside , lots of rubbish on step of building next door which you have to pass cause entrance is down a little alley way due to construction. Homeless man sleeps here , but staff could at the very least brush it up daily. Room very very shabby, carpet old , lamp shades very stained , ceiling in bathroom very shabby. Shower very dirty. On the plus side , bed clean, towels clean, tea and coffee making facilities and fantastic views of London. And staff very friendly.
All that you Need”
This is really a well located hotel very convenient within easy access of the underground station and bus stops to other parts of London. Also in the midst of best shopping area but yet in a quiet spot not agitated by the crowds. Helpful reception staff despite a small front lobby.
Excellent location close to Oxford Circus tube.”
This is a long established hotel beside the BBC. The dinning room is the 15th floor - it’s relaxing to have breakfast with a view that gives this hotel something special. The decor is a little tired and dated in certain areas but the staff are efficient and courteous . Work was being carried out when we were there but it didn’t effect us at all. I stay annually and would recommend it particularly for location.
Comfortable. Predictable ”
I have stayed here off and on on a yearly basis for the last 15 years. Some of the staff have been here the whole time. The location is great and the staff very helpful. I don't look anywhere else... if I am coming to London I stay here.!
great location for shopping”
We chose the hotel for the location, cause we went to London on a shooping spree. And was pleasantly surprise at the very good loction. 500 meters from Oxford street. There was a great number of restaurants close to the hotel. And even though the hotel is located so close to the very busy oxford street, the location of the is in a very quiet street, so there is hardly any street noise to speak of.
all was great”
nice stay, comfortable hotel, center of London. No complaints.
