Beautiful Hotel and Friendly Staff”
I was there earlier by 2 hours and the hotel staff allowed me to check in earlier. Hotel room was really clean and upon knowing I have asthma, the staff arranged for an air purifier to be placed inside my room throughout my stay. Overall the hotel was really pleasant, only down side was we have to walk around 10 minutes upslope from Shibuya Station.
Love This Place!”
What a nice little hotel. The room was simple but comfortable and spotless. This hotel is so well kept and the employees are so nice. Location? It does not get any better when it comes to location! You are near everything and just a 3 min walk away from the busiest crosswalk in the world right here in Shibuya!!! We will be back for sure. Thank you Sakura Fleur Aoyama!!!
Wonderful Hotel with Exceptional Service ”
We had a wonderful stay at Sakura Fleur. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect near Shibuya Station. I especially love the little thoughtful touches, pleasant welcome surprises (disposable slippers, nightgown, etc) and well-designed space features, in spite of the small room size, that make a traveler’s life easier. I will definitely stay here again.
One of the best boutique hotels in the world!”
A tastefully decorated charming hotel with great ambience and vibe. Staff were extraordinary in treating me well. Breakfast was good as well. A minor point really,..but the cons ? Dry cleaning not up to standards, ruined my jacket. But otherwise a truly superb hotel!
The hotel was very well located. In addition, my husband had accidentally reserved a smoking room. The hotel had arranged all the days a non smoking room, because I was pregnant. Super thanks. Everything was very well arranged.
Great and cozy hotel close to (and far enough from) Shibuya”
For our last night in Japan, this made for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which was much appreciated in making our last day in Tokyo that much easier. A cute spot for couples.
Great spot in great location”
Loved the area with lots to do and only 10 minute walk from the train station. Right across from Shibuya Crossing too which is awesome. The decor around the room was very old and flowers everywhere but it was a comfy bed and decent sized room
Good location about 8 minutes to Shibuya Crossing but its on a Hill.”
We stayed here for 2 nights. Located 10 mins walk from Shibuya Crossing. Staff was friendly. If you are from the New South Entrance of Shibuya JR Station, its about 10 mins away. Its slightly upslope about 40% of the way. Use google maps and trust it. If not, you'll need to cross an elevator-less overhead bridge. Also there are about 10 steps of stairs at the entrance. Rooms are comfy and has no issues at all. I'll recommend it as a value for money solution to stay in Shibuya if you do not have issues with slopes or stairs.
We were only here for 2 nights but our stay was fantastic. The staff are super friendly and very helpful with any matters we approached them with. The location is 10/10, a quick 3 minute stroll and your at Shibuya station or 5 minutes and your at the famous Shibuya crossing! Would defenitely recommend and we will be staying here next time we’re in Shibuya, Arigatou Gozaimasu.
Good priced hotel”
As compared to ridiculous Singapore, this hotel can easily be SGD260. But it was around $115 and as Japan goes, it's squeaky clean. Which was best... room is tiny but comfy, satisfies my needs. Only complain was the construction
Value for money!”
Good location, near Hikarie which is connected to Tokyo Metro and JR. Although there is a slight slope before taking an overhead bridge to reach the hotel, you can avoid taking the bridge by walking further down the street and take the zebra cross to reach the hotel. Friendly staff with smile. On the my last day there, a staff offered to help me take my luggage down the staircase in front of the door as I have two luggage with me. She said goodbye to me with a smile which make me feel very warm. Room is quite well maintained and they cleaned it everyday around 10am.
really enjoyed this hotel, easy location from shibuya train station with great connections to rest of Tokyo. Staff are so helpful, speak good English, and can’t do enough to sort restaurant bookings, local enquiries etc. Good sized rooms, well kept and comfy.
Great Hotel near Shibuya, Quiet, Friendly Staff”
Not too expensive hotel very close to Shibuya Station and on the way to another really nice neighorhood (Aoyama / Omotesando). We really enjoyed our stay, with really nice staff, a very quiet room, and extras such as water bottles that we received every day. The room size was pretty average for Tokyo standards, and it was easy to find. All in all, would definitely go back! Thank you so much for the nice stay.
Excellent Location and Excellent staff”
This is a wonderful place . The rooms are spotless , small, but certainly look a lot better than the photographs on the site suggest. The staff were extremely welcoming. Great value for money for such an excellent, easy to get to property.
We liked the location - quite close to Shibuya station and hence Shibuya action - though getting between the Yamanote line train station entrance and the hotel with baggage was a little awkward as it required either walking some distance beyond the hotel to a pedestrian crossing or traversing a pedestrian bridge (long flights of steps up and down...) over the main road. We our room surprisingly quiet, even with the window open. And we needed the window open as when we there the air-conditioning had been set for winter even though the weather was still mild and the a/c controllers in the rooms were disabled, and the bedding was a very warm doona. The decor is dated and a little worn, but everything works (except the room a/c controller as noted above). Apart from location, the other very strong point are the staff - lovely and very helpful (within the limits of what was in their power to address).
Great place with a few caveats”
This is a great hotel, but the fact is, if you're reading reviews, you'll likely only care about the negatives, so here they are: The hotel is pretty dated looking and air conditioning is building-wide rather than per room. Additionally, when I was packing, I had plans to go out for an evening with a friend. They arrived early, so I invited them up to my room to wait as I finished packing before heading out. When I came down, I was promptly reminded that because I registered as 1 person staying in the hotel, that only 1 person was allowed in my room, and that they had the power to kick me out for breaking this. Strangely, every day they gave me enough towels/slippers/nighties for 2 people. Some research revealed that this is an issue with many hotels in Tokyo, but this encounter just really put me off. I can see that being a real issue for the club-going night owl travelers of Tokyo, so if that's you...you might want to find a different place. Aside from that, the service was the best I've ever encountered in any hotel I stayed at. Included waters every day, they let me check in early, and they even folded my clothes when cleaning my room. Location was also close to Shibuya crossing.
A bit run down and hard to get to with luggage (many steep hills and stairs) given it was very hot and humid from Shibuya Station. Rooms had a floral theme and were a bit run down, carpet looked dirty and room wasn't very well lit. Would rather pay a bit more in the future and stay at a more modern hotel on the other side of Shibuya.
Would happily stay here again”
The staff at Sakura Fleur were extremely welcoming, helpful, polite and friendly. They offered us umbrellas, power converters, water etc. The location was amazing, less than 5 minute stroll to the heart of Shibuya, an awesomely vibrant area of Tokyo (especially at night). The room was more spacious than I had expected, bigger and nicer than the photos suggested. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends, and would stay here again if I got the chance.
Nice hotel in a good location”
Well presented hotel. Room was small but clean and comfortable, close to Shibuya station, plenty of places to eat nearby. We were only there for 1 night, but had time to pop over to Ginza for morning coffee before catching the train to Yokohama. Staff were very helpful.
Top spot-Top Team”
Nothing was too much of an effort at Sakura Fleur. I had many places I wanted to visit. Several members of staff were involved in internet searches, phone calls and hailing down taxis. The best and most thoughtful of situations arose when I had to leave for Osaka. One of the team -a very accomplished young lady- accompanied me to Shibuya Station in a taxi to assist me with the purchase of my ticket and directions to the correct platform via the elevator. They were most concerned because of my large amount of luggage. I wanted to give her some payment. ‘No, Madame. This is my job.’ I am so grateful for their kindness and support.
