A nice hostel in Asakusa neighborhood.”

This hostel is located in the westside of Senso-ji Asakusa Temple, one of the famous temple in Tokyo. Only takes about 5 minutes walking to Senso-ji and 10 minutes walking to the Asakusa subway station. There were two bunk beds in our room. This hostel provides shared bathrooms.

    It is very convenient!”

When I go to Tokyo, I always look for a place in Asakusa. They’ve got it all for you. It’s very accessible to several train lines. It’s near Senso-ji temple, stores, and restaurants. The place is very minimalist and functional. It provides basic amenities and gives off a friendly atmosphere. Overall, this is a good place to stay and meet fellow travellers.

    Great value, Great People”

Sakura Hostel Asakusa was one of the best hostels I’ve visited in a while. My brother and I stayed in a twin bunk room. The location was superb, the rooms were clean and the perfect size for us. The view was so lovely and unexpected. We couldn’t figure out the heating system, so it was a bit cold at night (but that was completely on us for being too tired to ask), haha. We could see the Hanayashiki amusement park, the Senso-ji Buddhist temple, and the Tokyo Skytree all from our little room terrace. The shared floor bathrooms were clean and warm — they were never busy. The staff was exceptional and super helpful and always there to help and recommend things to us. The common area was busy and vibrant and had a lot amenities for the guests. They also offer cool events inside the hostel, too. The location was decent — every station or stop we needed was 5-15 minutes of a walk away. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Good location for visiting this area, however the toilet is located far apart from the rooms as the design for hostel of the building structure is like this. If you don’t mind the toilet far away from the room then this place is fine. But remember from the room to toilet is so called out door walk way, pretty chill when wind blown.

Everything is perfect. I like its kitchen, staff. Very close to Sensoji temple. There are so many shops in surroundings. You should buy 72 hours metro ticket for 1500 yens at the hotel reception ( can not buy it at metro station). Surely I will stay there if I come back to Tokyo. Highly recommended. Perfect location. Great place for solo travel, with the 24 hours reception you doesn't need to worry when you reach. However location is abit far from train station. The beds have curtains so there are privacy and also a power plug. The only downside I feel is that the locker is too small.

Our flight touched down around 10.30pm and by the time we made our way to the hostel, it was close to midnight. It was great that it was open 24 hours which allowed us to check in with ease. We were able to jump into bed almost immediately. Although we only stayed one night, it was nevertheless good value for money. Most importantly, the staff could converse fluently in English.

Location : close to shops, train station and lots of food, incl a 24hour bento takeaway around the corner. Impressively clean : esp the shared toilet/bath.

the location is great. close to the train stations, the sensoji temple and all its glory .. and stalls selling food and trinkets. ample shopping, from supermarkets, to the 24hr convenience stores, a macd outlet, daiso store.. the works. our fav was the 24hr bento takeaway around the corner ... ... really good value ... just bring it back to the hostel and microwave it. facilities were excellent. free internet terminals and wifi access on the ground floor lobby. clean, impressively clean ! the shared toilets/baths were not only clean but always dry ! rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. staff were very friendly and helpful. will definitely come back.

The hostel is very close to Sensoji Temple. It is about 15 mins walk from Asakusa Station or 10 mins via Tawaramachi Station. The room is very small but decent. Above average”

The hostel is situated much nearer to Asakusa (Tsukuba) Station compared to Asakusa Station (for Ginza and Asakusa line), but both the stations are within walking distance. The staffs are friendly, helpful and English speaking. They do provide luggage storage services for free at the basement floor. We stayed in a room with 2 bunk beds. The rooms are quite spacious. However, the only minus point is that the room is quite dusty. Further, they do have laundry and dryer services at a reasonable price per usage. However, we need to heat the wet clothes for about 3 times to dry the clothes. Overall, it was a reasonable stay. We get to view Tokyo Skytree from our room.

    Good location, but okay”

Pros: Located in central Asakusa and pretty close to Sensoji Temple. A lot of shop, restaurant, and convini around. Comfy bed. The staffs seem nice (I didn't interacted a lot, though) and speak good english. Cons: Most of the rooms are clean, but look old and rusty. Small shower room. Bed's power socket is under the bed's light. It's not easy to plug the cord with power converter because it's gonna fall. Noisy at common room, though they have the regulation not to be loud after 10 pm. But that night, some teenage choir group were really loud (maybe due to celebrate something after winning some competition). And staff didn't do anything
