Super welcoming hostel-style hotel”

We loved our stay here. The bunk beds of our room were firm and very comfortable. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. And the simple breakfasts of broth, toast and jam, were a great way to start the day! As 3 subway lines run through the Jimbocho station just around the corner, all major sites within Tokyo become within a 25 min. ride! So though the rooms and facilities are very simple, we’d recommend this hotel without hesitation to people liking hostel-style travel and actually intend to return there ourselves. (Only thing to note, if you are travelling with a child under 10, and pick a room for two adults and a child the hotel may assume that you and your child may be sharing your bed. Upon arrival we had to pay a very small upgrade fee to get ourselves a 3-bed room....still was a great deal and totally worth the stay). Oh and the hotel’s café serves yummy international dishes (and some nice beers and bubble tea) in a friendly and fun international atmosphere. :)

Great for the budget traveller ”

The staff are great. They are always willing to help out! The rooms were also great, I read a load of reviews saying there'd be bedbugs so I came prepared with a sleeping bag incase, I'm happy to say these are inaccurate. Not a bug in sight, everything was very clean and fresh. The proximity to Jimbocho Station is a huge plus as two stops down you are in the heart of Akihabara (if you're going for the anime dive, this place is perfect). The morning free breakfast is a little weak but nothing beyond a holiday Inn back home. If you like toast, you're fine. The bathroom facilities are pretty good, you're supplied with shower amenities so that's good. I was parked in room 305 and during my stay I had no quarrels, the wardrobe door was a bit irritating but I can live with it for the miniscule cost. The 24/7 open door is a plus, I did find myself rolling in very late after spending time watching the sun set over in Tokyo without the worry of reprimanding for timing. I'll be back for sure.

Best!!!!”

I stayed here for 10 days, chose a single room room so small that even opened a 20-room suitcase can't be on the floor, only a 16-size open case. But the rooms are so clean, the sheets are changed and cleaned daily. The staff will knock on the door to clean the room around 10-11 am Free shampoo, soap and conditioner. But I have to go downstairs for a bath. Sharing bathroom but the bathroom is very clean. The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. They get my packages almost every day. If there's a package and accidentally bump it they'll tell me that I have the package. The hostel is very close to jimbocho exit a1 station, you must exit a1 outside in order not to go too far. This area's like an for office . It's a 15-minute walk to the Tokyo dome Minus : cafe information 24 hours but often closes before 12 pm for the smooking area. And the room price is a bit expensive, but this price is quite cheap for a single room in Tokyo. Plz give a discount to who stays longer like

Clean, friendly and convenient! ”

Lovely welcoming staff, rooms and facilities cleaned daily, optional breakfast included (simple toast and beverages). Very close to Jimbocho station which is a convenient trainline for getting to Shibuya, and not far from Akihabara. Private rooms and shared dormitories are available, and we were able to book just one week in advance which was a lifesaver. I'll be staying here next time I'm in Tokyo!

I had an amazing time in Sakura hotel Jimbocho. In fact, I did the ice bucket challenge with the staff. People there are so friendly and the really prioritize each customer's security. They have really good food and we even wanted to teach them how to cook something from our country and the staff gladly considered including it on the menu

Best hostel ever”

Value for money, caring staff, close to subway and JR

It has a comfortable environment and 24 hours cafe where you can hang around and make friends. The staffs are very attentive and multilingual, able to communicate with most of the customers. I personally recommend the breakfast, which has a free flow of coffee, tea, soup and toast at 320yen(180yen more for scramble egg). If you are on a budget tour, u can eat as much bread as you can and you can skip your lunch. The hostel is less than 5 minutes from Jimbocho station(tokyo metro hanzomon line, toei shinjuku and Mita line) exit A1 and 10 minutes from JR suidobashi. Hence if you are buying 1 day metro pass, Tokunai pass or JR pass holder, Jimbocho is a good place to stay. I will definitely return here if I am going back to Tokyo.

I stayed there for 2 weeks. The staff really helpful, friendly and able to speak English as well. The breakfast was really good and fresh, even though I only ate bread with jam , soup and tea. However, the location can be reached by Tokyo subway through Jimbocho station, since there is no JR station near the hotel. But the location near many convenience store and also the famous Yoshinoya beef bowl restaurant. Definitely this is one of the recommended places to stay for solo traveler!

Affordable hotel to stay in Tokyo, the only downside is the little number of restaurants around the area if you want eat out or have beer at night, you have to walk or travel to other districts of Tokyo. Good thing, It’s near the Jimbocho Station where you can take trains going yo Asakusa/Shibuya in one ride. I love the breakfast set and the red bean chocolate spread.

The staffs are helpful and friendly, they all can communicate in English. The cafe is nice and warm, foods and drinks are reasonable price. If you stay at this hotel, you can get free soft drinks all day. Also you could meet the international friends. The location is good, just 5 minutes walk from Jimbocho sta.. There are many nice bookstores in this area that you might enjoy. However this station is for local subways, you have to change the lines to visit tourist attractions.

Staff, location, basic "nice"

I was very happy with the location, close to Jimbocho MTR station with 3 different lines and many convenience stores close in case you want to buy snacks. The room was basic nice, you had your bed with good curtains. There was 2 showers on one floor, and 4 toilets (2 fro men 2 for ladies). The breakfast was toasts and jam and tea/coffee/juice which was ok for the price. You could leave your bags to the hostel after checking out which was nice. The staff was super nice and spoke English well, really liked them! :)
