Where to stay in Sala Kamreuk
Sala Kamreuk hotels & accommodations

Stayed there about a month ago, so apologies for taking so long to review. Some of my individual circumstances and timing might have contributed to the wonderful experience that I had at Golden Temple Retreat, but regardless, I cannot say enough nice things about it and the lovely staff. I did stay there during some promotion being offered so the value was particularly...

Stayed for four nights in the end of June 2018, whilst visiting Siem Reap with my sister. Booked Metta based on the star ratings, facilities available and the photographs of the rooms provided on the hotel booking sites. This boutique hotel with 34 rooms, a pool, spa, and restaurant is one of the best ones I have stayed in, in a long time. The staff us very helpful an...

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Sarai. We booked through AGODA because i read their good reviews. I am glad to write that all the good reviews are true. Our booking with agoda did not include airport pick up. I tried to contact the hotel because we will be arriving late at night. They replied immediately that they wikk pick us up at no charge. Philip was the...

Even though its cheap price, it's really modern and like resort and with beautiful nature. free-given 15 minutes free massage and drink services were also really good. Pool is relatively not a best status because just in front of pool, construction was being done. Only disadvantage is location but because the price of public transportation (Tuk-tuk) is really cheap, i...

From the moment I stepped through the door, I fell in love with the hotel. Walkways of stone and wood threaded through a bamboo and tropical plant rainforest to the check-in desk and tiny lobby surrounded by a Koi pond. Past the cafe are the spa and less than a dozen rooms on two levels surrounding a beautiful deep-blue-tiled swimming pool - petit, but certainly adeq...

The best hotel experience I've ever had; spent 4 night at the hotel. The staff are well trained to go the extra mile just to make your stay a pleasant and memorable one. Every single one of them will stop and greet you, and ask about your day. Every time you return to the hotel, they offer cold wet towels and cold and refreshing tea with tinge of lemon grass for the gu...

My mother and I booked the Sala Lodges based on the great reviews it has received. Looking back on our stay I must say that this was the best hotel I have stayed at in a long time! The location is not in the center, but close enough to go into town easily with a tuk tuk. We enjoyed coming back to this peaceful "Khmer heaven" after our daily visits to Angkors temples. ...

We only have excellent things to say about Ung D Angkor Suite. From the moment we booked, the team operating the hotel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent, and we have never been treated so wonderfully. We arrived a day after my birthday, and our room was decorated with beautiful red roses everywhere, a bottle of chilled wine, and a bath drawn up wit...

Siem Reap was one of the stops in my south east Asia travels and I can say this hotel was the best "4star" hotel I've stayed in out of the other hotels (Singapore, Vietnam, Beijing). I should have known not to expect US "4 stars" standards in esp third world countries; the "4 stars" hotels in Vietnam and even Singapore smelled like mold and/or urine or something nasty....

The hotel is rather new (opened in 2016). Staff were very helpful before, during and at the end of our stay. I requested a birthday cake to be made for my girlfriend on our arrival and the hotel managed to sort it out with no extra charge! Room is very spatious and very light. We never got to use the bath tub in our room as it takes a long time to fill up. Didn't get...

Friendly staff. Upgraded upon arrival. Massive rooms and bathroom. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice pool. Small quaint hotel so didn't see many other guests. Location is off a side street; 10min walk to pub steeet & night markets or a $2 tuk tuk ride - enough to be away to not hear the noise but close enough to be accessible to the busy/popular sp...

This hotel appeals to us because it looks exclusive. Small boutique hotel that doesn't make you it's feel short of standards. Went ahead to book it. Was disappointed and furious when we touched down Siem Reap Airport because I couldn't seem to find the free appointed driver that was suppose to pick us up to the hotel. After 15 minutes of looking and asking, we decided...

I am a frequent traveler and have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the past decade. Vilada Angkor is by far the best hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. This is a small boutique hotel with only 10-15 rooms and a small swimming pool. It is not a large, palatial hotel. However, it has the best service of any hotel I have ever visited. The staff are always o...

It was the great place to stay. We felt so relaxing with this quiet environment. If you want to escape from the busy place this resort is highly recommended. The room was clean and comfortable with great design, Furthmore, swimming pool was huge with best jacuzzi inside and at night there was a beautiful light in swimming pool. That light call fiber optic light,it look...

Regretted for my short time at here, that was an amazing place with a building structure and locality of art. They upgraded me to a suite room with nice view and comfortable room. The bed and barthroom was very big and clean with a fully set up amenities. Every things they provided like a house. The staffs also friendly they always smile and warmly welcome with soft dr...

Panha Tit, the manager of the hotel, has made us feel very welcome from the start of our stay, right until our check out. His English is excellent, naturally kind and genuinely interested in his customers. He helped us book a number of trips at no extra cost and dealt with our last minute cancellations without any hint of bother. The staff at the pool bar are also gr...

The moment we walked in, it was peaceful and quiet and just like the photos to our relief! The staff were lovely especially the lady and our tuk tuk driver Pirim was so friendly! Our room was great, pretty clean everywhere and nice bed sheets. Only reason for not giving five star is because it wasn’t perfect but for the area it was good enough. The pool was very clean ...

We had nothing but the best experience from this establishment. I think a perfect 10 is not enough. They are the best in all aspects: Cleanliness, customer service, location, design, food....everything. I can never thank them for making our stay in Siem Reap a wonderful one. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it everyone who wants only the best in Siem R...

The Mango Angkor Boutique is a beautiful modern Hotel in wonderful topical surroundings, yet only minutes away from the life and entertainment of Pub street, shops and markets, the hotel staff speak English and the Hotel Manager fluent in English, he and his team all patient kind and prompt with any information required, the rooms are quility well maintained and spotle...

I would say even if this hotel charge 5 times more a day, it would be still the best- buy in town. Great location( walking to pub street), very spacious and well designed rooms, 5 star level showers, pool, the bar by the pool and delicious breakfast all make a very comfortable to stay. However we know that the most important thing is always the service. I enjoyed so mu...

The service in this hotel is one of the best, even better than a 5 star hotel! I was very surprise how great this hotel is. The hotel staff were very helpful, friendly and asked about our day. After visiting Temples they gave us cold towels and always greeted us. Even if some staff were in the kitchen, they also walked out to greet us and always smiling. They also offe...

We stayed almost a week in Mango Rain and we have to say that we were sad when we left. At the very beginning we were worried about the distance from the centre, but in the end, it was only 3 minutes away with a took-tuk and on top the hotel has its took-tuk service which cost you only $1 per way. Our room was big and very comfortable with a small balcony. We are digi...

We loved our short visit to Siem Reap and stay here at Angkor Angel Boutique Villa throughout our 5 days. Need not pre-book any tour package before arriving as hotel offers very competitive packages. We had prebooked 2 AngkorWat tour packages with Klook on Tuktuk and one fishing village tour package with the hotel by car, which we enjoyed more (as it rained during the ...

The best hotel I live in Siem Reap. The staffs are very friendly and their services are excellent. The room is very new and comfortable. The location of the hotel is not in the night market, so if you enjoy the quite environment, it's the best choice. You can take a tuk-tuk in $2 to go to the pub street. You can ask the hotel to get you a tuk-tuk. I love this hotel an...

We stayed at Tan Sour resort during our trip to Siem Reap and we really enjoyed staying there. The bangalows were built as traditional Cambodia style surrounded by has lots of fruit trees and pound. I booked this hotel after reading such good reviews and we were not disappointed. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. I had several treatments at the spa, which again wer...

We stayed here for 4 nights. We were a bit unsure about booking at first because there was no reviews and it seemed too good value for money when we were looking at the pictures, but we decided to take the risk! Best hotel we have stayed in whilst in Asia! The staff informed us the hotel had only been open a month and it was still very quiet with hardly any other guest...
Cheap places to stay in Sala Kamreuk

Bambu Stay was the best place where I could stay during my time in Siam Reap. The place is incredibly clean with a wonderful atmosphere. At the beginning I booked 2 nights. After my first 2 nights I extended my stay for one more night. I felt very welcome and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They do their best to make you feel You are home. The Bambo stay also ...

So happy we’ve found this place ! Staff is so nice ! We booked it at a really fair price by Agoda. That was the best value in all Cambodia ! They let you borrow their bicycles for free for 4 hours, 1$ the entire day. We have found motorbike at 8$/day in town if needed. We highly recommend this place ! Loved it !

Amazing hostel that looks like a hotel! Double bed, super comfy on a super clean bedroom. Two bathrooms with shampoo and shower gel! Near the night food market nd everything and nice reception that offers tours. Just don't get the taxi to the airport with them as their price is much expensive and grab is super cheap! Overall just great!!

This place is totally great considering the cleanliness, the comfort of the bed, the quiet location, amenities and the friendly staff. For the price it’s highly recommended specially for budget travelers like me. Been hopping from 1 hostel to another to check for better accommodation and found this as the best amongst the 5 hostels.

We stayed 6 nights in the bungalow. It is spacious and clean. The bathroom is clean and well maintained as well. The Bungalow is very Open but there is a mosquito net. The Homestay is a beautiful hide out in the outer part of siem reap. It will take you 10-15min with the tuk tuk to the city. Please ask for Bonloek as tuktuk driver. He is the neighbor and a great guy. A...

Very nice place to stay. The room was nicely furnished and decorated, very clean, wonderful staff, cheap water refills, nice quiet location, beautiful pool to relax after long days at Angkor Wat, and you get your 1 dollar mango shake served right at the edge of the pool ^_^ The only thing I would improve is to put umbrellas next to the pool chairs because it is way too...

A great find for the long-stay guest, the owners have made the most of unanticipated local design to provide a comfortable, if quirky, hotel. Despite being on the main road (Sivatha Boulevard) the rooms are quiet, clean and cool. Laundry is attended on premises and is inexpensive. Two floors of accommodation are topped by a rooftop garden space with three jacuzzis, tab...

I booked several rooms at Aster Villa for our group of 11 and I am so happy to have chosen this hotel. The hosts, Anas and Nye Nye are so accommodating with our requests. They booked our tours, the buffet dinner with Apsara dance and even our massages. They are able to get good rates so that was savings for us! They even lent us their weighing scale so we can check ...

*The owners (two sisters) are nice, friendly and accommodating *Place is quiet and just 10-minute walk from Pub Street and Night Market *The room is clean and spacious *The guesthouse doesn't look like a hostel, it actually makes you feel you're at home *The food/drinks are good (I especially love their iced coffee latte!). Only thing though is they don't accept credit...

Best hotel we have stayed in during our travels of Asia! Everything was clean and perfect on arrival greeted and shown to our room. We arrived late and were very tired so didn't want to go out but Rith (staff member) made us some French toast and coffee even though the kitchen was closed! The room was perfect hot showers fresh towels comfy bed great wifi. Breakfast was...

The stay would have been great if there was some food facilities in the hotel, or even some facilities nearby, there was nothing! I went to the supermarket to get supplies, only to discover to my horror! That if I left the room the electics turn off!! Including the fridge! So was forced to stay in the room so my food wouldn't spoil.

Very cheap hotel, almost all the white people staying here with US$2 per bed for common stay area with common toilet and bathroom which is very smelly... Otherwise, the room is okay. But staff service is poor. Breakfast is just 3 slices of bread and with the choice of coffee or tea. Daytime lady staff is friendly. Best thing is the location is central :)

This is the perfect place to stay if you really want a feel for the country. Madden and his family were very generous and welcoming. The location is beautiful, very quite and away from all the city noise. It's a fun adventure getting to his place in a tuk tuk as the roads are not paved evenly. Madden arranged a tuk tuk to take us around the city making travel very easy...

No exceptions, clean room and inviting atmosphere, Pillar Hotel delivers on their promise. We stayed for only for one night, but longer stay would have been great. We love the free breakfast, lifts to Pub St. and clean pool right outside our front door. The interactions felt natural and authentic, the staffs were very nice people people even though their English wasn...

Pros: - Owner and staffs are friendly. - Room is spacious. - Provided complimentary bottle of water, fridge and hair dryer in room. Free coffee and tea in receiving area. - They clean the room everyday. - Location is less than 10mins walk to the Pubstreet. Near restos and convenience store. - Good for resting after a tiring day. - Stayed and rested in their recei...

I arrived at a burning hot afternoon. After walking from the bus stop to the guesthouse with two heavy backpack, I was exhausted! The owner who always has a smile on her face, inmeditely handed me a bottle of cold water. That's really comforting. This's first time I came to a guesthouse that you have to take off your footwear at the door. Later I found it really good....

When we made our initial booking, the voucher erroneously indicated that the breakfast for the other room was not included. I contacted the hotel directly (another email was sent to Agoda as well) to see if it can be fixed with them and the Hotel Manager, replied immediately and assured me that breakfast is indeed included in all packages. Through a series of email exc...

After 2 & 1/2 years travelling this was my best hostel. We booked a dorm room for one night and were treated to five star hospitality so we stayed for four nights. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. We were on our honey moon and the staff had dressed our room with petals in heart shapes when we arrived which was a lovely start. I totally recommend this hotel. Me and my husband spent 3 nights here during our stay in Siem Reap. We had 3 reasons to chose this hotel: good value for money, its good reviews, its location (a quiet area, not in the noisy city center). Yes, it is a little farther from the louder, more popular hot spots, but what we wanted was more serenity. They offer free tuk tuk t...

It's a nice and valued hotel given its facilities and large rooms. I like the forest-like villa around the swimming pool and the rooms. The tall tress and plants are like natural shields so that even rooms at the ground level enjoy good amount of privacy. The greens also add to this relaxing atmosphere. The only drawback is its location, which is about 5-10min Tu...

I was initially worried about the location of the hotel, but it turned out to be extraordinary. We had a free pick-up from the airport late at night and the staff were extremely friendly. Really love this hotel!! The location is a bit far from town. However the free tuk tuk transfer service is efficient enough to cover the weakness. Patience is needed to wait for hot water. Stayed there about a month ago, so apologies for taking so long to review.

My best friend and I traveled to Siem Reap this week and we were absolutely enjoyed our stay at this gem of a hotel! We went to the temples 2 days in a row to watch the sunrise and they made a breakfast box for us each morning (FYI, breakfast and other meal...

This hotel is awesome. The rooms are so specious and all the staff are so attentive. It is a bit further away from city center, but they offer free tuk tuk from 5pm - 10pm. I actually like that it’s a bit further so it’s not as loud at night. They also offer free happy hour daily from 6pm - 7pm by the pool. It’s perfect time to mingle with other guest. We truly enjoye...
