Affordable place to stay in Phnom Penh”
Salita Hotel is a neat lodging place at an affordable rate. While the location is not so close to food establishments or tourist spots, the rooms and common areas have a homey feel. Staff eagerly helped their guests with their concerns, and breakfast buffet provided a wide range of choices.
Hotel staff was wonderful hotel was clean ”
Hotel was clean and the staff was very good. The breakfast got blah after same thing for 10 days though. The only thing I can ding them on is that you only get one RFID room card even if you book for 2 people. I travel with insulin so the refrigerator must stay on when you leave the room otherwise it destroys the insulin and you die. The staff went beyond the call and let me in the room all the times I needed because I had ti leave the key card slot. Will stay there again in December - just hope they will have 2 cards buy then :)
Relaxing and comfortable stay despite schedule”
The stay at Salita was very comfortable I recommend business and tourist to stay here. The room was very clean. The breakfast was nice. Despite my hectic schedule I was well rested all the time when I got up.
very good value for money indeed”
everything is great at salita only 2 minor things further from riverside restaurants and bars and water from shower went onto floor a little due to design of shower over bath but overall this is a 4 star hotel for value for staff helpful ness great breakfast and excellent clean lovely room would recommend and stay here again
Breakfast closes at 8.50 am even thought their menu written 10 am. so you have to go quick. limited breakfast menu. Room is good and clean. Only one lift, so it may be quiet busy in the morning and evening.
The stay was very good but it would have been better, if the breakfast provided had more vegeterian food options. The reception staff were too friendly. I would say big thank you to all at Salita Hotel for excellent smile on the face while serving us.Must stay in this hotel as you can have full worth of your money.
Value for money”
I stayed at Salita hotel for 2 nights in Aug 2013. The hotel's location suited me perfectly as I loved to walk amongst the locals to get a feel of their culture. It is about a 10 mins walk along small alleys to the S-21 Prison Museum, a 15 mins walk to the Orussey market where you can catch the tour bus connections to Siem Reap, Battambang and other places in Cambodia, and a 20-25 mins walk to the Central market.. There are many clean open air eating joints as well as small sundry shops all along the side roads surrounding the hotel. The hotel itself is relatively new, with a pleasant lobby. The room and bathroom were clean. Beds were comfortable. All good. One downside is probably that breakfast is served on the highest floor in a room without air-condition. That can be quite uncomfortable on a hot morning. Transport (by tuk tuk) to and from airport costs USD5-USD7 each way, depending on your bargaining skills and takes about 30 mins.
City View of Phnom Pehn”
Stayed for 3 nights. Really worth staying here. Best price for three star hotel. Breakfast served from 6am-10am local time. Plenty of meals available. Breakfast served in 10th floor where we can have a view of the town. Staff are friendly. Will recommend the hotel for my friends.
Relatively new hotel”
good location and not too far from the city center. superior room relatively big and spaceous. toilet with bathtub but towels too rough. above 5th floor will be deluxe rooms and bigger with lcd tv. if want a good view, must choose deluxe. staff are friendly and helpful. breakfast was reasonable good for the price we pay. dining area is at the 10th floor, lift only go up to 9th flr. very airy and good view of the city. like this place and would want to stay again next time.
Nice hotel and clean”
The hotel is really clean equivalent to 5 star hotel. The room also big in size and good for a family to stay. Toilet so clean and facilities available as what written in the website. Staff are friendly and try to communicate with you even though not so fluent.
A good standard option”
I had a good stay here - the staff were friendly and the room was big and clean. Breakfast was nothing special, unfortunately, apart from eating it on the roof with a great view of the city (for disabled guests, getting up to the roof may be problematic - the lift doesn't go all the way up).
Price increase ”
The room was ok but the breakfast was poor. My main complaint was that we pre-booked a price online and when we arrived it was increased even though I had the reference number and print out with the details of the booking. I only paid extra to not upset my wife who does not like confrontation' This was very disappointing
Cheap price with good room.. ”
It's just worth the money!!
The staff is amazing!
Its location is not at the centre of attraction and require the tuk tuk service to get to tourists attractions. However, it is not busy and quite peaceful. The staff is absolutely very helpful and friendly making my stay very pleasant.
facility is old and wifi is slow”
Female receptionist is o.k. to accomodate with your request. The speed of wifi is slow compared with those available at coffee shops. The facility is old and only one lift, so, cargo uses the same lift as guest. the view from the room and the restaurant is o.k.. I rather recommend new boutique hotels than this hotel.
Let down by breakfast”
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and would stay again, the staff are excellent and the room was big and clean. The only thing that lets it down is the breakfast which was quite poor especially for a western palate. Having said that it is still good value for money.
Good value for the money”
I enjoyed my stay at the Salita hotel. The location was good for me as it was within walking distance of Tuol Sleng. The staff were very helpful in helping with my requests, especially Doreth. She worked very hard to find transportation for me to Siem Reap. As it was during the Khmer New Year, she had to contact many companies before locating transportation for me. I wouldn't have been able to do it without her. The staff also helped me with transportation to local sites such as the National Museum and Choeug Ek. The complimentary breakfast was an added bonus.
100% reccommend ”
We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff were amazing and helped us on a number of occasions, they even sorted out our visas for Vietnam at a reasonable price. Also there is a wide selection of breakfast food available including fresh fruit and with a great view of the city. Highly recommend !
Great Cheap hotel”
The hotel is bit away from the attraction of Phnom Penh, but the is plenty of transport available. The room are clean, but the dark furnishings do show they desperately need a spring clean. The Wifi wasn't the best, but it could have been the room I was in. They were ungrading the system when I was there. Overall, a good hotel for the price.
