Very spacious and trendy room. Very friendly staff. Treat us with a bubble tea in his favorite tea place when we arrived. We recommend this place and would get there when we’ll be back in Tainan. Ps: do not forget to inform of your arrival time since there isn’t a 24/24 reception.

The location is ok not so far away from the sites, within 10-20 minutes walk. But the water in the room tastes like not boiled, and we had to buy our own drinking water.

Nicely designed yet hygiene needs improvement”
Pros: Very cool design. Location very convenient to other sightseeing attraction. The smoking area on 5th floor is super cool. Cons: Difficult to locate the hotel without any prior instruction (it's in an alley without any sign). Rusty floor in the shower area and sofa seems dusty. Overall I am not comfortable to sleep in the bed. Our room door is half broken, felt not safe to stay in the room.

Great Stay”
Spacious & clean room. Every floor has a nice small garden which serves as a good relaxing corner. Hotel location is near to Chihkan tower and Yongle market is within walkable distance. Was deeply touched by the hotel staff kind gesture who made the effort to contact us and deliver a gift which we accidentally left behind in the room. Had a great stay and would definitely stay at Salon de Lesprit again the next time we return to Tainan.

A bit hard to find. Not a Hotel, more of a AirBnb thing without room service. When you are close better call them and they will fetch and escort you. Once there: WOW, it has charm, great interior design, very spacious, comfortable, its quiet and well located within walking distance to public transportation. Will definitely stay there again when coming through Tainan.

Location at its best ”
Per agoda booking received, there was a remark to contact the homestay in advance for its actual entrance (due to old house). I found its facebook page, gave my agoda bkg no. and received its prompt reply. Do contact the homestay in advance before arrival so The housekeeper (Mr Lim) whom is only available at the homestay from 11am to 7pm can arrange to check you in. We arrived around 1330 knock on its gate (no doorbell) however there was no response. Made a Line message to the homestay and was told the housekeeper will come down to us. (As he was busy with housekeeping at the upper levels). Since the official check in was 3pm, we left our luggage with him, got our room key and receive a short brief for our stay, Pin for the digital door lock, checkout is at 11am which we only need to drop the keys into the letterbox besides the reception. Throughout the 1 night stay we only manage to see Mr Lim during the check-in. As mentioned from the memo, should you require any assistance from the housekeeper after his working hours, you will have to contact him at his mobile. Everything was self service for us (pantry well stuffed, room is tidy, strong WiFi, bath toiletries are well replenish EXCEPT the shower took a while to run hot water and the ikea bed was too soft for us) However there was no major issues for us without the housekeeper and common for homestays in Taiwan. Considering its location just outside Chinkan Tower, it was perfect to hop on Taiwan Tourist Shuttle bus 88/99 to many Tainan attractions. We will stay here again.

I have a nice stay at Salon. Unfortunately, I highly recommend the hostel should show their name on the door. We did spend time in searching for the hotel when we arrived Tainan.

Well-designed accommodation ”
The hotel is situated near some of tourist spots and famous street food stalls. The design of the rooms is simple but chic. I stayed on the 5/F floor and the room was well-lit by sunlight during the daytime. The room was spacious and comfortable. Though the hotel is a bit difficult to find, it is highly recommended. Pls call the hotel staff/owner for location and direction before you arrive there.

Loved staying at this centrally located bnb. Even though it was hard to find at first because there is no sign, the place is really nice. The room is spacious. Decor is really nice. Love the open space on 4th and 5th Floor where you can just chill out at night and have a beer.

Generally a very good accommodation. We stayed in the red room, the air conditioner was a little noisy, a little dust on some surfaces and I don't think the bed linen was freshly changed. Other than that, it was very good. Bathroom and shower were excellent and supplied toiletries were very good quality.

記載された、住所と思われるところは シャッターが閉まり、閑散としていた。 近所のお店の方や、警察署の方に聞くも ホテルは無いと言われ、大きな荷物を持ちながら、同じ場所をグルグル回って途方に暮れていた。 見かねた現地の人が、住所を見て電話をしてくれた。その人に助けてもらえなければ 宿無しで1日終わっていたかもしれない。 このホテルは従業員は駐在しておらず チェックイン時に連絡をしなければ 鍵がもらえない。表のシャッターが閉まっているので、中に入れない。 事前にその情報を知っていれば こんなにも迷わずに済んだと思う。 おしゃれで隠れ家的なのはいいが シャッターは常に閉じているので ホテルとわかるような看板や目印を つけて欲しかった。。。 あれは、初めて来た人にはわからないだろう。 場所さえわかれば、部屋も立地もとてもいいのでおすすめです‼︎‼︎
