Great Place for a quick getaway ”
We wanted a place to stay for a weekend getaway and decided to stay at Sam's Town. The price and amenities were just what we wanted. The staff was great! We enjoyed our stay. Sadly, we did not have luck at the casino but our time was fun!

Clean and friendly staff was great. I fell in love with the food bar staff the chicken wing was the bomb. Won money fifteen min after sitter down on my machine.

Nice one nighter”
They could have had more windows open at check-in, rewards center, and cashier's for faster service; but overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We will definitely be going back.

No air conditioning ”
We kept moving the thermostat down and it never went below 70. Kept going back to 72 unless we would get up and move it back down!! But never went below 70!!

Our tub was full of water. Our room only had lamps for lighting. Coffee maker and outlet in the bathroom was broke. Most vending machines were broke. Smokey Joes breakfast was disgusting. Cigarette butt in the hallway. Beds and pillows were comfortable.

Stayed on a light weekend. Entire building (casino and all) seemed to have air conditioning issues. In the room, bed was uncomfortable, AC wouldn’t get below 75, and the toilet had issues flushing. I think we’ll stay in Southaven and make the drive over in the future

Really run down”
Did not get room that was requested with no notification until I got into room. Room was clean but a/c was leaking into carpet. Only sheets on bed no bedspread or comforter. Had to call to get remote for TV. Ice and drink machine broken or sold out on every floor. Very disappointed in our stay.

The rooms are so outdated and look terrible. The beds are not comfortable. I had 1 option for a pillow that was way too firm. There is an arcade for kids but it’s a joke. They have an escape room but you have to be 21 to enter. So basically, if you travel here in the winter with your kids, you will be very sadly disappointed. The gambling hall is also old and outdated. The penny machines are scattered and hard to find. You can’t order a drink from your machine. Instead you have wait until one of their (very few) bartenders come around. The hallways leading up to our room reeked of marijuana and course you could hear everything your neighbors were doing and every door shut down the hall. I will never stay here again.

Non-smoking room smelled of smoke”
The non-smoking room I was in smelled of smoke. I reported it to the front desk and they confirmed it was supposed to be a non-smoking room, however, they did not investigate it after I mentioned it, nor did they offer to move me to another room. No buffet due to COVID-19 precautions. Too bad, they used to make the best omelets. Also, they did not have luggage carts so my friend, who is diagnosed with congestive heart failure and has breathing issues, had to carry his luggage to his room as well as carry it out upon our departure. He had to stop to catch his breath 3 times before we reached his room. When he finally reached the room, the door swipe cards to his room wouldn't work. I had to take them back to the front desk to have them enable them again. Slots at Sam's Town used to be a lot looser in past visits. We found newer, nicer and more fun to play slots and better atmosphere at Fitz.

If so this is the place otherwise room and facility is outdated during the week you only can get overpriced fast food and it’s not very good for the price you pay . The room had previous guest belongings still there and then the second room was dirty and had major items falling apart. If I would have been in my manual wheelchair I could’ve made to the room and from the handicapped parking area and ramp to access hotel.

Its old it has an old smell they didnt have an iron in the room we had to go to the first desk to pick one up. Our room didnt have an remote for the tv. The building needs alot of updated items . I would have went across the street to Hollywood casino if the rokm wasn't already paid for.

It was fun while it lasted”
The staff was friendly & helpful. The room was clean but everything in it was damp & it reeked like an old cigar. It was also dirt cheap & we weren't planning on being in it much. I think all the casino buffets are overpriced here, but, they got you over a barrel. The food in the snack shop was really good though! Sam's was also the only casino in town where you didn't have to chase down a cocktail waitress! The machines give just enough to let you play some before they take it all back. Then they don't build these places on winners. Its all about fun anyway!

Needs Improvement”
I get COMP rooms. This is the only reason I stay here. I had a roach climbing down my hotel room wall. Some of the front desk workers have no personality and are not friendly at all. The casino workers are the best. The servers in the buffet work hard and are very nice. The 24 hour eating place needs more workers and sometimes are rude. More workers are needed at the check-in desk where you get your rewards card - lines are too long.

False advertising on promotion, extremely rude front desk personnel, very tight slots, bad smell”
The only friendly employees were house cleaning and buffet servers/bus tables. Hostess, check in personnel and promotions desk were extremely rude. In 18 hours not one person hit for any money. EVERYONE was complaining and said they would never be back. False promotion on new players card.
