My favourite”
Location is perfect, very close to the Royal Palace. Staff is excellent, very good English. They are always there to help. You can book different tickets, exchange your money, have really great food in the restaurant. Tv and pool table in the bar. The room and the bath is not the best ever but clean. No bugs or mosquitos. When I stayed there a/c didn't work, only a fan.

Nice location, friendly staff, but place is grubby.”
The bathroom was the stuff of horrors. Very moldy and the door was falling apart. The stairs and hallway leading to the room also needed some cleaning. There was a wet rag at the bottom of the stairs. The staff were helpful with visa and transport.

Dissapointment ”
Good food
The hostel is very small. The dormitory is not clean at all and i dont think they clean it. There is never toilet paper and it is noisy from the bar downstairs. The people are verh friendly and that made it all better untill the end when they screwed us over with the bus tickets and with a home stay! My advice book it if you want to save money and enjoy good food but dont book any bus ride or homestay from them!

The best place to be in the city”
The people( native and foreign) , the culture, the convenience to everywhere.
The most amazing time of my life. I had an amazing experience with the staff there. The people staying there long term are treated like family and it is so entertaining to see them a little disfunctional sometimes out of good fun. I've met so many amazing people with amazing stories within the confines of this one particular place. I feel as though it is home.

Prison like rooms but cheap”
Location and milkshakes
Nylon sheets!?! Why? The rooms are a little prison like, the staff while courteous certainly aren't helpful and it's like you are bothering them if you ask a question. The location is good and it's cheap. No hot water.

Cheap, but not clean or comfortable”
Staff were friendly
It was pretty grim, if we're completely honest. As another reviewer has pointed out before, the guesthouse appears to be tacked on to the restaurant business and is a bit lacking as a result. - Pretty dirty (rubbish left behind beds, mysterious marks on sheets). - No toilet paper, at all. I know it may not appear to be a necessity, but when the majority of your clientele are Western, this is essential in my opinion. - Staff were eager to make a profit out of you at every turn. E.g when ordering breakfast: ($3 for scrambled eggs and bread) you have to pay an extra $0.50 for butter. Again, not the end of the world, but a little irritating, considering how cheap the ingredients are and how much of a profit is being made already. There are much cheaper and nicer places to dine for less. Lots more examples.with buying bus tickets and way overpriced tuk-turks, as well as beligerant selling of firing range tours. Place is cheap, though and walkable to Royal Palace and restaurants. It's not an awful place to stay, but on reflection, there is much nicer accommodation available for the price - much nicer.
