Fantastic view and affordable hotel”
The location is superb! From the hotel you can view the Mon Bridge and also the whole scene of Sangkla highlight. The room is very spacious, no problem at all. Staff is super friendly. For dinner look for no where but here. Dinner with great food and great view. It is very clean hotel.
Ok for one night stay. ”
We spent only one night there to explore Sanklaburi, and it was enough for us. Staffs were very informative and resourceful about how to get to places. The bed and bathroom conditions could be better. Bed sheets and pillow cases weren't that clean. Breakfast wasn't that good. We walked down from the hotel to Mon Bridge to get our second breakfast. The overall stay was okay.
They have a few staff but they give the good service. The room, the bed, blanket, toilet, bath room is good for the rest. The swimming pool is very nice and you can see the wood bridge view from the swimming pool. The food is delicious and breakfast have both American Breakfast and Thai Breakfast with steam rice and rice soup. You can walk to the wood bridge just walk out from hotel and then turn left down to the bridge. I have used this hotel more than 3 times now. And I will do it again next year.
Panoramic view and convenient access to anywhere”
Impressive. The view from the hotel is stunning and the kids love the infinity pool. Easy access to many tourist attractions with value for money tour package. Staff don't smile much but very helpful and Wi-fi connection should be improved.
Ideal location, good rooms”
Excellent. Good location, nice, clean serviceable rooms, great views, good restaurant for dinner. Overall great value for money and probably the best place in town. Would definitely stay again if I return to Sangkhlaburi.
relaxing, different, stunning scenery”
This hotel was absolutely idyllic. I wanted to show my parents the different contrats of Thailand and they wanted to go places I hadn't been either (I have been living in Thailand for 2 years). We were a bit worried we would have to cancel the trip when my mum broke her arm but continued anyway. So glad we did. This place is like nothing I've ever seen before and the huts built off the hill over looking the lake were so different and cosy. The staffs grasp of English wasn't amazing but they were very friendly and this all added to the charm of this seemingly forgotten land. Such a mix of cultures. Unfortunately we only stayed a couple of days and had we had more time would have definitely stayed longer. I do recommend hiring a boat man to take you out on the dam as well. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes to be immeressed in culture and nature and definitely hope to go back. It did help that I can speak a bit of Thai when having to navigate the last bit of the journey as the bus drops you a little bit out of the way. Though the locals were very happy to help and the tattoo artist spoke perfect english and gave us a lift the last few minutes of the journey. It wasn't far to walk had it not been for my father and I carrying the luggage for 3 of us and my mum being less able than usual.
Great view overlookiing wooden bridge&lake, quiet ”
attentive staff - all (especially who cared our needs, arrange car to bus station, suggestions of attractions & food etc. tidy & clean room. fastastic overview to wooden bridge, especialy in thier restaurant.some staff with limited English, but with smile to serve your need. We enjoyed our staying. Sure will come back again.
Great view from hotel room”
I've stayed here in Deluxe room for 2nights, great morning scenery from hotel room, the well-known Thailand's longest wooden bridge is just down below. Swimming pool is nice but close time is pretty early at 8pm. Hotel restaurant was good and reasonable price. I am sure to stay here again.
This hotel is located in the best location in Sangklaburi. Staff were friendly. We like our roon view where we can see Samprasob river from our balcony. Beding are good and clean. Airconditioning worked well. But bad feeling was our room was in one floor under the hotel's restaurant, so we could hear everystep of people walking, everytime when people moved their chair... worse is we had to listen to those noice almost the trip.
Beautiful view from this hotel, and very good price”
We want to visit Sangklaburi as I haven't been here for over 17 years also visit Myanmar boarder. It was good to be back, we pick this hotel as I remember it is on beautiful location where we can see Mon bridge also where three rivers connect to each other. Hotel is ok, food is not bad, service just fine as long as you ask for what you want to get. We happy to be here even for one night only.
Awful and Lousy hotel”
I take villa with the most expensive and spacious. But it's very old, poor maintenance, and low quality of facilities. The bathtub looks dirty, poor quality and very limited amenities (ie, only low grade of 2 little bath gel, 1 shampoo, plastic cap, and 2 big towels, no floor towel in the bathroom, no hair drier as mentioned). I booked for 2 night but i gave up after first night of staying.
One of the best in Sangkhlaburi”
Staff is very helpful. The resort has absolute perfect views on the lake and the wooden Mon bridge. Breakfast is really Thai style but they have bread and marmalade as well. We had a room in the central building which was okay with a nice balcony and perfect working zircon.
Warm welcome. Beautiful View. And Great escaped from city! Culture and Nature that what you gonna earn from this place!
Clean room, Good view”
Very good hotel location. Closed to the wooden bridge. Good view. Quite clean room. We got room on 1st floor right in front of the swimming pool. I loved breakfast selections here.
Package Tour Hotel catering to national tourists”
This 'resort' caters for national (Thai) package tourists. Apart from one young man no English spoken. Room was not really clean on my arrival. Dirty tissues still on the balcony, long dark hairs in sink and on sink surround. Electric sockets in room mostly damaged. Insects living in or under the print on the wall. They did not bite. Walls very thin, other guests played tv very loud. Breakfast was awful, nothing healthy or nutritious there, all fried stuff. No maps or information given or available. No 'correct' reception services for international tourists. On arrrival 500 baht demanded as a key deposit. Never faced this demand anywhere in the World before. Particularly galling as Ihad paid for the room one week before arrival. All very one sided. Very disappointing and over-priced. Staff neither helpful nor friendly.
Close to the pool”
This room is better than the river villa rooms because there is no dangerous stairs to climb. The room faces out to the pool and the best view in town. The TV is Thai language only. The hotel Internet is unusable. The room has the two prong European style outlets. The breakfast was ok. Dinner was good. The hotel is only a couple of years old.
A humble cabin”
The cabin I rented was down over a bank and was only accessible by a long, dangerous set of stairs. There was no Wifi except up in the restaurant area. Other guests were also frustrated by the dangerous access. Otherwise the room could be best described as rustic. The TV is only in Thai language. If you require wifi choose a different accomodation.
Room Fine. Good View FOOD COLD”
Breakfast was a farce. Started at 7.30am. Mad rush from the Thai guests. By 8am most items gone - nothing replenished. What was left was cold. no burneres under the food trays. Waitresses did nothing about bringing out more food -just played on their mobile phones! Room not made up on 2nd day.....staff said the boss had the keys and it was his day off!!!! THIS HOTEL NOT FOR FOREIGNERS!!!!
The best thing about this hotel is the location on a hill overlooking the river and the Mon Bridge. Everything else was a let down. The designated English speaker on the staff tried hard, but needs improvement. The rest of the staff was just lounging about, and seemed more interested in their phones than anything else. My room was just below the dining terrace and the noise was terrible! Especially late into the night, when every scraping chair and every burst of laughter was magnified tenfold. It was like an echo chamber. Buffet breakfast would have been delicious if it were kept warm. The gym was decent, but felt crowded with more than 2 people. The adjacent bathrooms were disgusting, needing a scrub down. It's too bad, because this is one of the best located hotels in Sangkhlaburi but the standards are quite low. This is not the place to go for a quiet stay, though one of the freestanding villas might be a better option.
great location but noisy restaurant”
We expect to stay in the individual chalet which have better view on the Mon Bridge and more privacy but end up our room is in the hotel building, the reason given was the chalet room is for 4 person (2 double bed). Our room is right in front the infinite pool, great sun light but less privacy as people in pool could easy see us through the large window of the room. The room is in the right size and bright but bathroom is a bit dark, comfortable but nothing impressive. Down side was no room keeping for the 3 nights stay, but we get toilet paper and toiletries refill every day. Hotel restaurant has the best position to overview Mon Bridge in day or night, but it quite far away from the main market, rent a motorbike is the best solution to let you travel around, otherwise you can take motor-taxi. As the hotel is the best spot to view the bridge, the restaurant was occupied almost every night, big group of local day tour came every night. We waited one and half hour for dinner to be served in one night, and rest of the nights we dined somewhere else. Breakfast has variety choice, thai or western buffet. Overall, this is enjoyable stay although no room keeping, bit noisy from the restaurant in the night time, but we love the pool and sunshine.
