Relaxing and Quiet Atmosphere in the heart of Banglamphu”
I've splept in many Bangkok's Guest Houses and this was the best. The staff is nice and ready to help you if you have any problem. We slept in the old house : clean and full of charm ! The samsen area is really enjoyable : quiet but full of great restaurants and amazing live music bars. I especially recommend the "Adhere the 13th" for their blues nights and the "Exile" for their crazy rock lives . If you don't like the calm energy of the Samsen's sois, Rambuttri and Khao San are reachable in 10 minutes (walking).

Staff very pleasant, servicable, they always acknowleged me by my first name. We stayed at this hotel 3 times during our 10 weeks vacations in Thaïland. And for our next trip to Bangkok we will book again at this hotel. It is clean, well maintained, all the equipment is fonctionning perfectly. It is close to Rambutri Village and Kaosan Road actvities (abt 7-8 min walk) and close to the river (3-4 min walk). I strongly recommend this hotel, it’s good quality/ price value.

Samsen Sam Place is a wonderful little hostel located in a quiet unassuming alley street off of the main road (Samsen Rd). It is located in an old wooden Thai home. This makes the location quite appealing with beautiful wooden floors and quaint touches throughout. My room was one of the two suites which afforded me with a large double bed, a workspace table, two seating chairs, a small beauty station, and a large bathroom. The bathroom had a little wardrobe where I was able to put my luggage and keep my clothes accessible as I stayed for 7 nights. The shower was quite large and the water pressure and availability of hot water just what you’d want. While the bathroom amenities were basic again, it was all that was needed. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from as well as easy access to money exchange locations and atm’s. It is also very easy to call a Grab to come and take you wherever you want to go.

Lek was very warm and helpful. They always check how are you doin for the day. Sitong is very cheerful and full of colors. She always make sure you are comfortable and always wishes us to have fun. The house is clean, the proximity is close all the hot spots of the city, the amenities were all provided. It is a ten over ten. Thank you guys!

Everyone who worked here was very kind and helpful. The location is great - walking distance from a lot of great spots in Bangkok but down a quiet, relaxed street. The rooms were immaculate, the beds super comfortable, the bathroom was perfect. And this place had the only A.C. I had in all of my Southeast Asia backpacking trip!

Samsen Sam Place is like a little oasis in Bangkok, which can be pretty hectic. Location is great, since it is close to Khao San Road and Pier 13 to take a boat that will take you to the main attractions. The room was very spacious and clean, which we highly appreciate. Staff was very friendly and they even arranged a grab taxi to take us to the airport.

Far out but so coool”
the Samsen Sam Place is a bit off the beaten track. You will need to take the boat taxi to get there (connecting from the BTS). But it is worth it. You have clean rooms with mattresses that don't make you wonder who slept on them last (as opposed to the Sukhumvit area). Lots to do at night. Feels like a bed and breakfast. Shucks, the secret is out!

Nice, clean, quiet room”
Nice, clean, and quiet room. The breakfast is a good deal and they give you water every day. Also, I got a free upgrade on the room (deluxe rooms are nice!). Only downside is that the AC only works when your key is in the holder, but it cools down in 15 minutes, so it’s not a huge deal 👍🏻☺️

Clean with perfect ocation”
The hotel is perfectly located in Khaosan but away from the crowds. Had a shared bathroom and toilets but they were very clean. The hotel is clean with a homely feel. I will definitely stay here again. Clean, quiet and convenient location :)

With so many hotel choices in Bangkok it was difficult to pick one but I’m so glad we stayed here! When we arrived I wasn’t feeling well due to the hot weather, the man at reception immediately gave me an ice pack for my head to cool me off and was so kind during our stay. Rooms are updated and very nice. Air con works great. Overall great stay, will definitely stay again when In Bangkok.

Quiet location with easy access to the noise of the city ”
Stayed here for 2 nights after arriving in Bangkok. First night we were put in the wrong room but we were upgraded for the second night so overall everything worked out fine. Both rooms were great value for money. We’d payed for private bathroom but ended up having to use the shared facilities on our first night. They were clean and did not cause us any discomfort, our upgraded room was beautiful. The location was great, just 5 mins from KhaoSan road down a quiet street. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Rooms were bright and clean and everything we needed for our 2 night stay in the city.

A budget hotel with old school charm ”
The location is great if you want to explore old Bangkok and Khao San road while being away from the madness. The hotel is in a peaceful location with minimal night time noise. The staff are so friendly and helpful especially the lady on the front desk who always greets you by first name and with a friendly smile. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic experience living in a traditional, wooden Thai house”
This accommodation will give you a taste of what it feels like to live in a traditional Thai house. It feels very homey and the place is well-maintained. It also has a garden and a shared area where you can eat and hang out. Location is on a quiet side street but the pier for the tourist ferry is just a 10-minute walk away. There's also a 7-11 at the end of the street for all your basic needs. Staff is very warm and easy to approach. You get the same selection of breakfast everyday but in case you want something else to eat, there are tons of other food places nearby. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend to those travelling on a budget. I suggest to get an aircon room over a fan room though as Bangkok can be unbearably hot.

Good time in Bangkok”
I was really happy when I stayed at the hotel. This made me feel relaxed and comfortable. All of the staff in the hotel was extremely nice. Furthermore, the hotel is really clean and there are many modern facilities. The hotel is located near convenient stores, bus stop and Khaosan market. If I have a chance, I will come back to Thailand and stay there.

a cosy place in a quiet lane, about 15 minutes walk to Khaosan road, rather convenient considering 7--11 shops, cafes and restaurants, massage places are so near by. we booked the deluxe twin room and it is spacious and clean. breakfast was quiet ok, but if you want a really fine one then there is quite many cafes within 10 minutes walk distance. good value for money.
