wonderful, helpful, valuable ”
it is a very budget hotel, having a back garden which is the sea. I prefer to stay in lamai beach as it is more quiet than the chewang beach. The hotel's location is perfect, shops, food, tesco, markets just need to walk around few minutes. The owner runs a travel agent as well, so she is very helpful to share everything about koh samui. I got sick one day there, and the lady suggested me not go to hospital if i dont have insurance, and she told me to go to see the clinic which was just next by the hotel, and it would be much cheaper than hospital, and she also asked her husband to drive me to the clinic, which was very touch when I was far away home.

Great value for the money”
I really loved my stay there. As busy as Samui is I did not expect to find this little quiet escape. They are what the name states :) Bungalows are very simple but lovely, all you need is there. Even guests staying there are somewhat different.. The little beach in front is just perfect to lay lazy, and there's a beach shower as well. Their restaurant makes nice food for good prices (I'm island hopping in Thailand and haven't come across menu with the fish options as cheap as theirs, so don't miss out!) and their beach bar is so cute, cocktails very tasty and I think cheapest on the whole lamai beach. As I said- great value!! Would definitely stay there again.

Pleasant stay. Pros and Cons”
Fan bungalow. Traditional Thai, wooden. Porch and chairs. Style common on Samui in the past. Fridge. Porch looks onto garden. Pros : wave sound. Resort has its own patch of beach, wider than others. Small beach Bar (no noise at night). Deckchairs & parasols. Cheery helpfull staff. Room cleaned on request. Cons : earplugs essential at night, I say - the ever busy main island road behind the resort is tremendously loud at times, with motorbikes racing by at all hours without mufflers, and lorries. Nice trees above come with a downside at some times of year - the Asian Koel bird (Nok Gao Wow) starting its call at 06:15 every morning in mating season. Similar with vibration of a water pump in a property over the wall, noticeable in the early hours. Light sleepers will notice it. WiFi good. Fan sufficient at night till end of February, but by early March I was starting to struggle as the fan on the far wall from the bed wasn't so powerfull even on high setting. Overall I enjoyed my stay :)

Comfortable, peaceful and easy”
Once I realised I could upgrade to an ocean view room I moved right onto the beach front to a large, spacious, clean room with a great bed, the sound of the ocean to fall asleep and wake up to, I was even happier. The hotel is close to the Spa resorts which has a great healthy international menu, it is a 5 minute drive to the shopping area of lamai and surrounded by local amenities and fresh fruit stalls. Yet it is just perfectly situated to allow you a quiet stay and sleep.

Beach front, can't really complain ”
When your hotel is right on the beach how bad can things really be? Although our bungalow wasn't directly on sand, it was less than 50 steps around. The property is quaint and lush. There are a few benches and a table to hang out at when not down on the beach. On the sand there are some lounge chairs and a hammock. A cool little beach bar is located just to the right and they stay open pretty late which is cool. The hotel is located a little ways from the main strip of Lamai but walking is good for you. Wasn't the biggest fan of the water straight out in front, being from Hawaii I have pretty high standards. We walked far to the left to jump in and eventually ended up renting a motorbike for a day to find a nicer beach (chaweng not). The hotel staff we nice and very attentive. We arranged tours, ferries, and the motorbike with them. As for the room, it was spacious - tv, bed, dresser. The bed, as most thai beds are, a little on the hard side. We're given towels and a blanket. A little on the pricey side. We were able to find cheaper places but not for a beach front location. Overall. Good stay. Mellow, quiet area.

View from the studio is amazing! ”
The table and chairs on the patio is a great idea as you can eat breakfast with a great view. Very quiet, clean and peaceful. The staff is amazing, comfortable bed, the bedding could be cleaner but we are not fussy. Close to the shops, walking distance to a Crystal Bay with a great snorkeling. I recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Harmony staff.

Standart Budgethotel, Nice Staff, good located”
Nice Budgethotel with best location at Lamai Beach, Staff is friendly not with the best language at all but good in service. The room is okay, only the bathroom could be much better. Nothing what avoid the flies, facilities standart is reclaimable. Breakfast offering is for Thaistandart very good and with in pricebalance.

Excellent”
Fan bungalows are located near a busy road (you really need earplugs), but AC rooms are right on the beach. Staff is very helpful, e.g. when we found out we had a mouse in our room, they immediately moved us to another one. If you want a quiet beach time, it's the best spot, however if you want to swim, you better walk aprox 500 meters to the centre of Lamai beach-the sea is not so shallow there.

Friendly, nice, convenient”
It has been my second stay at the Harmony. I like the staff alot. The beach and surroundings are growing more lively, but it is still much calmer than the main Lamai Beach. Good size of the rooms, fridge, fan and aircon. Safety Boxes at reception and room service on request. This is not a luxury hotel, but I d go back anytime. There is everything you need for a lovely holiday.

Great Stay”
We enjoyed our time here, it backed right onto a private beach which probably would have been amazing should the weather not have been awful! Staff very helpful, cheap moped rental and we also booked seats for a bus to our next destination and were collected from the hotel. Bit of a walk into the main town, maybe 10-15min walk but we liked the fact it was away from all the chaos and noise of the nightlife. Would recommend a hut on the beach, was amazing to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Cons, no English channels on TV (which wasn't a big deal) wifi was a bit dodgy at times as well. Excellent breakfast!!

Great budget hotel”
Bungalows are very nicely disposed, although a bit old and termites eating all the wood. Located on the beach. Good for relaxing and sleeping with the sound of the waves. Maybe a little overpriced and some bungalows are located 1 meter from sewage wich makes em' smell nasty inside....oh yeah, and that sewage drops into the beach so you'll have to walk maybe a 100 meters if you want to have a safe AIDSless swim...we asked to change room in the first night and since they had no availability, they provided us with air freshner but still did not hide the sticky smell. Next day we had a better one. The owner/manager is professional...maybe too much. It makes her almost impossible to get through. But overall, this resort is very clean and staff competent. Scooter rental and shuttle trasnfers in the front desk. I recommend this hotel.

Nice place with a basic bungalow”
We enjoyed our stay here. The bungalow was very basic, but a good value for money. The restaurant has excellent coffee and breakfast. A little walk from the main area of Lamai but near restaurants and right on the beach.

Lovely hotel”
located in lamai beach, 15min scooter ride from chaweng. small but clean bangalow on the beach, just one thing i wasn't very confortable with... the water is salty, so i had to use the drinking water in the mini fridge to brush teeth. everything else is good.

Simple life in great place”
The place is 10 minuets walking to Lamai village and beach. Place and bungalow are simple and basic, avoid the first row of bungalow close to street casue quite noisy. The 3 facing the beach are the best. Lady at recepiton has very limited English but super nice amd helpful. Yoi will have breakfast to choose among 3/4 set menu and eat directly at your bungalow. They also rent motorbike.

Good location and service”
This hotel has good location, service and next to beach, which is good for Solo traveller. I booked Fan room which has a little small, the furniture is simple and a little bit old, but the price is crazy resonable; in my opinion, this is a good place for solo travellers; if you are couple, booking aircondition room is the best choice for you, maybe you will spend too much energy in the night; cool environment is better for you, hahaha.............

Great little beach hut village vibe”
It he only complaint I might have was about the Internet not working for a lot of our stay, however they did fix it and made sure to tell us when it was fixed. However we were given the code for the Internet in the restaurant hut so all was not lost! The staff were great, remembering what we wanted at breakfast based on what we had ordered the day before, and noticing how much coffe/ tea we drank and making sure we had big mugs the next day! I found the location superb......it was not on the main strip and so was quite isolated (which I liked) but it was a nice short walk along the beach to get to the main strip. Out in the street however there were plenty of fruit stalls, restaurants and a 24 hour family mart 5 mins away so I never felt like we were too isolated. The beach was beautiful just a few steps from the hut, and there were not so many waves like the rest of the beach so the water was very accessible for my elderly Mother. We felt very well cared for and the staff were very sensitive to our needs in every way. For me, although it might not be considered luxurious, a 2 star rating just doesn't give one a good feel for the place..although the bathrooms were very basic and the wood in some places in the hut was a bit old and battered, they were perfect little beach huts with a/c, TV, fridge and the sound of the ocean.......I would rate it at least a 3 star

Fantastic beach location”
Bungalow on the beach was fantastic though the little wooden balcony felt a bit unstable as if the timber was starting to rot. Could see the rest of bungalows had good solid cement poles for support so not an issue with all huts. All the basic mod cons of air-con, fridge, hot water and clean double bed with adventuourus feel blended into lovely natural green environment. One downside is resort is next to a creek emptying into the ocean so it affects the water quality and when it rains heavy you can end up with a pile of debris in front of the bungalows.
