This lovely resort enjoys a private, peaceful spot north of Chaweng’s beach and is within easy walking distance to the center. The Samui Natien Resort is located in a quieter part to the north of the main Chaweng Beach, making it an ideal place for those seeking a quiet vacation or romantic getaway. A three-minute walk down the beach will bring you to plenty of beach bars and restaurants. A shopping center, convenience stores, and car rental shops can be found on the main road, steps from Samui Natien. A visit to the Fisherman’s Village in Bophut is a must and only takes a little over 10 minutes in a tuk-tuk from the resort. Enjoy a romantic dinner of the freshest seafood dishes over stunning views of the sun setting over the ocean.

This hotel was nice but safes were in reception and reception was not 24hours, lift was also switched off between 10pm-6am so had to use stairs. It’s location was great and on the beach and close enough to bars etc. But not to close for noise at night.
Great location and very friendly staff”
Had a very memorable break in this report, located at the Bophut side of Chaweng beach. Very accessible to all the necessities and nightlife. The resort itself has a nice private beach and consist of chalets and rooms. The staffs were great, very courteous and me and family really enjoyed our stay there. Weather was a bit rough past couple of days but never the less, would recommend this place!
Excellent for me. ”
Not the cheapest hotel, but is on the beach with an adequate pool. An easy 5 or 10 minute walk to all the action of Chewang but very quiet. Although it was no issue for me be aware they have a strict pay for visitor policy.
We stayed here last minute after being hoodwinked into paying for a nearby “hotel” which was uninhabitable by the TAT. Even with a last minute book in the room was ready and staff were so accommodating. Breakfast was amongst the best we had in Thailand, with stunning views. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, even extending for a few extra days. The hotel decor is a little dated, but it adds to the charm. Overall a clean, charming and comfortable hotel. With wonderful staff.
View was decent”
Not much or a seaview unless you had that one room near the very end of the hall. Wifi here was horrible and slow. Location was nice and convenient. Pool was much smaller then then the picture I thought.
small very standard hotel by beach ”
small rooms , with decent beach but terrible breakfast and service. I could not believe the ratings it got. rooms are older. service desk and particular beach side restaurant very poor. breakfast was terrible. rooms and hotel need renovation. the gym is a joke .. .... would definetely not stay there again. btw the pool is a joke too ...maybe suitable for a baby or so ...
Review of Samui Natien Resort”
The Samui Natien Resort in North Chaweng offers superb value for money being right on the beach at North Chaweng and offering superb amenities such as a nice double room overlooking the beach, a swimming pool and restaurant overlooking the beach, excellent food and very friendly, courteous staff and being right in the heart of the nightlife and shopping districts. I would recommend the Samui Natien to anybody!
we only stayed for two nights due to scheduled flight. was upgraded for some reason and received the pool house which i can assume would be satisfying to most customers. bring a lock if you like to keep valuable things in the safety box at the front desk (which is closed from 10pm to 8am). otherwise you can purchase one from the front desk. quiet area although the island in general is "hectic". not a big fan of the beach and unfortunately the beach in front of the hotel is not the best one. still decent for small families though. would not recommend the restaurant. didn't feel as if they wanted us there and the food felt like it was just heated :(
Nice place but overpriced”
Stayed 5 nights in April, 2 + 2 (age 2+4). Why all booking platforms have to lie? 'only 2 rooms left', you check the next day 'only 4 rooms left', and so on. Finally, when you arrive and you see that 90 % of the rooms are empty, but you check on Agoda and it still says 'only 2 rooms left'. Also the discount can hardly be accurate. It was 75 % off, but still 2000 baht! Normal price 8000 baht! Really? The room clearly is not worth more than 1500 baht fully priced. We were welcomed with a disgusting smell in the room and it took a whole day to get it out. Room is super small, basically a bed, a fridge and a shower. Location is great, right at the beach and shopping street, close to Central shopping center. But room is still overpriced, especially as we got it at 75 % discount! Swimming pool is great, but our 2 year old got her arm sucked into the water pump on the last day and this was very painful. I hope they fixed it, so this will never happen again. Breakfast ok.
Good location as amenities (pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, shops etc) are within walking distance. Room interior decor was a bit dated, although spacious for two people, comfortable and a good value for money nonetheless :-)
Location wise is good, but hotel really needs a spruce up, facilities are looking very dated. Breakfast is very basic and the swimming pool is very small.
Everything was OK. For sure will come back.
Relaxing but still close to the fun ”
Beautiful hotel everything you needed and perfect location on the beach and only a 5-10 min walk to all the nightlife really clean and the staff were lovely WiFi is a bit slow but it's not the end of the world if I came back to samui I would stay here
Everything you need and places to go are very convenient....”
Affordable place to stay.....very friendly staff, clean room and good choices for breakfast....lots of restaurants to choose from, and very affordable. Less than a minute to the beach....The place is quite....I would recommend the Samui Natien Resort....
A small and well located resort with everything you need nearby. Very helpful staffs. Beach is nice, clean and right next to the property. The neighbourhood is quiet with no loud night clubs nearby. The room is basic but well functioned unless you plan to stay in there all the time and require all the luxuries. Will definitely go back again.
An oasis, bungalow slightly on the small side, but the resort itself beautiful, lovely staff, great beach. Just to busy and noisy outside and smelly, but you don’t have to leave the resort, it as it’s own restruarant, great food and the beach at night comes alive with other eateries having there tables on the beach all lite up quite amazing you don’t need to eat on the street. All the staff amazing
Good value for money. Breakfast is pretty basic and WiFy is unreliable but it's not a deal breaker. Room and shower were clean and aircon works OK. Located arm length from the beach, which is very convenient.
Nice place, good staff, just needs some attention from management”
Nice place - great showers, beds, a/c etc. The restaurant on site is good for breakfast and had a couple good meals there too. The wifi works but logs you out after a few minutes of inactivity.. so every time you go to use it you have to enter the user name and password again. It's also very slow. I asked the front desk about it and they really didn't try to address it at all. So to the owners of the resort, I highly recommend you replace your wifi system and pay for a faster internet connection - as this is the really the only negative part of your resort.
Great location, fair price for amenities”
This resort is tucked away nicely on Chawang's strip, and offers great (a little dated) rooms and services. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dedicated beach chairs is fantastic, walking distance to almost anything you'd want on the strip.
WE NEEDED A PLACE TO STAY AS WE HAD TO EXTEND BY TWO DAYS HAVING MISSED OUR FLIGHT. THE AGODA PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE AND THE RESORT WAS AWARE OF OUR QUICK BOOKING ON ARRIVAL. ROOM WAS CLEAN AND BASIC BUT THE STAFF WERE FREINDLY AND WE ENJOYED OUR STAY.
