"First time in myanmar , i really liked this hotel , the gym and pool are top notch , best equipped hotel gym that i have been to in a long time , breakfast is great , big choice of different food styles , staff were super friendly , rooms were of high standard easily as good as 5 star hotels . Really enjoyed my stay , only thing is its a little far from downtown and not a great deal in the area , but if you want a super hi quality hotel with exceptional gym , pool and restaurant facilities that is good value i would recommend this hotel."

"Quick response when requesting an airport pickup. Only charged me half since there was one other party at the airport to transport to hotel. Most hotels would still charge you full price. Quick and easy check in with Agoda booking already paid in full. The staff accommodated my high floor request. Helpful advice for shopping and taxi. Walking to Shwedagon felt a bit farther due to heat. Since taxis are inexpensive, I suggest just taking one there and back. Hotel provided a card so taxis would have no issue returning you to hotel. Money changer a short walk away. Breakfast was good. Rooftop provides a decent view of Shwedagon. Nothing up there otherwise. I'm assuming they have plans for this areas. Safe in room, easy to operate. I loved the gorgeous black tile in the bathroom. You can tell that this hotel has been upgraded recently. I did hear the dogs early in the morning as mentioned by other reviewer. I provided my domestic air ticket info to hotel but was dropped off by their driver at the international terminal instead. Fortunately it was only a 2 minute walk next door to the domestic terminal. Rather than charge me the $25 US they normal charge for airport pickup, I was only charged 8,000 to be dropped off at airport which is the normal taxi fare. I appreciated the fair charging for these incidentals. Very refreshing to see since this is not always the case elsewhere in the world. Staff aimed to please and requested a review which means good service is a priority. I highly recommend this hotel. The price was an excellent value, even when factoring in the taxi fares."

" This hotel was the best hotel I stayed in while on holiday in Myanmar. They were running a promotion since they are renovating so I got a great deal. Only $14 US. Usually $35. The hotel was super clean with a friendly staff. Although they don’t speak much English. With the little English they knew they were able to help me get to the Golden rock temple. They were so kind and generous. The room was impeccable. The most comfortable bed I’ve slept in, in at least a year while traveling across Southeast Asia for the past 3 years. Cold AC, hot shower, 2 bottles of free water, and 2 free coffee packets. No free breakfast. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a farmers market. Also full of shopping. It’s only a 25 minute walk to the famous Swedagon temple. People’s Park, and the Thai Embassy if you are getting a visa for Thailand. Highly recommend. Even when they go back to their regular pricing. "

"We originally booked for a few days but just extended our stay to 2 weeks. The rooms are excellent value for money - brand new western standard hotel room with comfy beds, hot water and great pressure, fridge, AC. very clean, daily housekeeping. Breakfast I'd also great value, choice of your style of eggs, noodles, soup, vegetable, toast, butter & jam, coffee and tea. Definitely a rare find at this budget. The location is in San Chaung close to numerous restaurants, groceries 24h at City Mart 10 min walk, 15 min walk to closest train station for cicular train, 15 min walk to People's park and 25 min walk to the pagoda. I truly enjoy the neighborhood. It can be loud a bit at night because of all the dogs but so is the rest of Yangon. We had a few issues, as any new hotel can experience and Harry, the ops manager, was extremely helpful and always eager to see how he could make us feel more comfortable. Overall great value for money. We saw numerous hotels downtown but decided to stay here, most hotels at 30$ offer a run down bathroom, poor matresss and poor choice of breakfast. Worth being away form downtown and it's easily accessible anyhow. "

"Nice location, great facilities, pleasant staff and accommodating management (owner is cool) BUT I found a bedbug, just one, but still enough to lead to the possibility they multiply and become a problem. The owner seemed very open to hearing about and addressing the issue, so hopefully the problem is eradicated before your stay. If you get bit in the middle of the night, don't assume it's a mosquito, turn on your phone light and check for fast crawling little critters similar to size and shape of baby cockroaches! and whatever you do, keep you bags zipped and stuff packed away inside and preferably leave you stuff in the lockers in the hall.. you don't want to take these home with you AND you don't want to spread them around!"

"My friend and I found the customer service to be exceptional. We had accidentally booked a double bed, and they were able to switch us into a twin room. Seems minor, but I'm quite sure the twin room ended up being a "free upgrade". We were also leaving Yangon on a night bus, and hoped we could have a late checkout. We had gone down to inquire, simply asked "what time is checkout?", and the response was basically telling us regular checkout out time and "you can stay late if you want, no problem".. They let us check out at 7pm! I'm sure this can't be accommodated when the hotel is booked, but it was just a reflection of the great customer service. Another bonus is the rooftop restaurant. It was easily the best food we had in Myanmar. It has such a lovely atmosphere, and seems to be frequented by expats and those working in Myanmar. I'm a vegan, and there were tons of options, or adjustments that could be made to give me a large selection of food. "
