Italian warm welcome in the heart of London”

san Domenico House provides ease of access to London city locations. Furbished in immaculate style the staff are very helpful and friendly. You certainly do not need a car unless travelling outside the city. There are a variety of local and easy to walk to restaurants and cafes together with a lot of retail shops. The only downside is their main dinner menu - The pasta dishes provide badly cooked pasta.

5 star quality for a special occasion”

A most enjoyable stay to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were allowed to drop off our luggage early in the morning and leave it after we had vacated our room which was a great help. Recommended to travellers looking for quality and for something a little different. The San Domenico House is certainly somewhere that I would return to when next in London.

had a lovely stay, would love to have stayed loneger. one of the nicest hotels i have stayed in london, would definatly recomend the holtel and and will go there again. stones throw away from the everything in sloan square. my favorite hotel to date.

The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated as are the public spaces. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful. The location was ideal - quiet, but very near restaurants and shopping. It is situated in an old townhouse, so some room access involves stairs and narrow hallways. This was not an issue for us, but could be for anyone with impaired mobility.

Great hotel”

Excellent little hotel. Good coffee for England though the breakfast itself was nothing spectacular and a bit pricey. Room was nice. Annoying glitch with wifi in last night of stay was the lowest point of the hotel.

it was not 5-star hotel at all. ”

from the very first moment, it was not comfy. i opened the heavy door by myself with huge luggage, which i've never experienced at any 5 star hotel. most of all, it is not being managed well. the room was full of dust. the bathroom was not clean. the fan was working with awkward sound. could'nt sleep well due to the noise. cosidering everything, the price is ridiculous.

2 problemi non riscolti: 1) pioveva in camera da finestra per problema al tetto e 2) in bagno areatore molto rumoroso.

Wonderful boutique hotel ”

Wonderful hotel, I wanted a plush, unique hotel experience for my stay in London. I couldn't be more thrilled with my choice. My room was so comfortable and luxurious. This is no generic chain hotel, this is historic charming building that has maintained it's uniqueness without sacrificing it's affluent coziness. My stay started with a delicious glass of Processco and cocktail nibbles while enjoying my beautiful view by the window, in a soft snug chair. Later I enjoyed a delicious dinner in my room with a lovely glass of wine, perfect end to a long day of traveling. Actually the perfect ending was taking a warm steamy shower and climbing into my bed. Speaking of my bed, I am very picky about my bed. Usually I don't sleep the best in hotel rooms. I had an amazing night sleep every night. The window treatments allow the room to be darkened or be totally dark. The firmness of the bed was ideal. Not too soft or firm, and the sheets were heavenly. Other noteworthy mentions are the fabulous provided toiletries and the ability to control the temperature of the room ( I like to sleep in a cold room). I made my way up to the roof top deck and enjoyed a specular view. In addition, as a solo female traveler I felt extremely safe staying at this hotel. You have to ring to be let in and the door is locked once you enter. No worries about anyone uninvited entering the hotel. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This location is very convenient and located near many lovely restaurants, parks, shops, and other points of interest. This will definitely be my hotel of choice when visiting London.

This is a lovely small hotel in a fabulous part of London. Friends joined me for drinks in the lounge and small terrace which were ordered via room service. While the hotel has no restaurant it has room service and there are lots of great places to eat nearby. I hope to stay here again.

Great Boutique Hotel, Great Staff”

Lovely stay at San Domenico Hotel. Fantastic little boutique hotel with period furnishings. Staff were great, Anastasia was lovely, helpful, and attentive. If you like sleek, square box, modern hotels then this one is not for you, but if you are looking for a hotel with character then you can't go wrong. Be aware there is no restaurant for dinner, but high recommended.

Superbe hôtel de charme”

nous avions la chambre 104, une suite en duplex magnifique décorée avec beaucoup de gout. on regrettera néanmoins 3 points : l immeuble d a cote subit un ravalement de façade et de bon matin il est difficile de dormir a cause du bruit. la nourriture est correcte sans plus. on aurait aime plus d articles de toilette dans la salle de bains. les points positifs sont : la décoration, l emplacement , le petit déjeuner excellent, le service procure par l hôtel.
