We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Da Vinci Hotel in Sandton. We had a small problem with our shower which was rectified speedily and successfully. The staff are very friendly and service-orientated. The Hotel is very modern, decorated in black and white and silver. Very different from any other hotel I have stayed in. The restaurant was very nice and the food very good. Very well placed hotel for very convenient shopping in the adjacent Sandton City Mall.

My brother in law and I travelled to Johannesburg to celebrate his birthday from 19th to 21st April. With assistance from agoda we located Radisson Blu Sandton Hotel and booked our stay for a very reasonable amount. The stay was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed drinks at the bar and the awesome swimming pool on the 8th Floor which overlooks some great architectural designs of Sandton. The breakfast is also to look forward to.

I was very impressed with the Signature Lux partly because of its great location close to the Sandton Gautrain station and Sandton City Mall. Receiving an email from the hotel notifying me of the opportunity to check-in online before arrival was a pleasant surprise and enabled me to quickly get to my room. The room itself is of decent size with a large screen tv, good channel selection and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is also a nice size and I was impressed with the white, soft towels. I appreciated that fresh brewed coffee or tea is available at any time in the lobby and always started my days with a couple cups. I was very pleased that the a/c was quiet and having an in-room safe is useful. I would certainly return to the Signature Lux again.

The people are extremely friendly and helpful. I been travelling across various counties and hotels for the past 3 years and this was my best stay considering I stayed in 5 star hotels outside SA as well. I can only speak good things about my stay and the people must keep it up and make me a proud South African. Well Done to the teams who took great care of me for nearly 1 week.

Booked this as a last minute stay for our last day in J'oburg and we were impressed. Check in was efficient and quick. You do need to review a few papers though, notable the inventory list but they make it seemless and quick. The suite had all we needed, including a washing machine. No dryers in the smaller units though. Location in Sandton is greata few minutes walk from the Benmore Garden's Shopping Centre where there is a Pick and Pay and some good takeaway options too : Simply Asia is a favorite. Would definetely stay again.

Couldn't fault them - initial issue with room assigned but resolved quickly and efficiently. Staff all very friendly and helpful, greeting by name a lot of the time. Food and drinks at the restaurant and bar all to a very high standard and far cheaper than what what we're used to in Aus. Easy 10-15 minute walk to Mandela Square and Sandton Mall - always felt perfectly safe when walking back and forth in Sandton, plus they have a free half hourly shuttle bus anyway. Pool and grounds are stunning - great setting to relax. Hotel is used a lot for business conferences so we occasionally looked a bit out of place as tourists, but I'd hardly consider that a problem! Would definitely go back!

This hotel is great for what it is...incredibly private, secure, secluded, elegant (except for all the gaudy drawings of the owner---wow) and checks the boxes. This is where the top level biz people, celebs, politicians (was that Mugabe I saw?') and dictators go! The gadgets in the room are great and functional. Rooms very large. It's quiet but also quite large. It definitely needs to be refreshed but I think that the owner doesn't have to given its reputation and status. Two choices in Joburg. The other is the Four Seasons. So it comes down I whether you want or need to be in Sandton.

The location is fantastic. Very close to Sandton city shopping center, walking distance. The hotel itself is a little old. The beds were comfortable but could be better. Bath Towels are small and a bit rough. Bath sheets would be much better. Breakfast is wonderful. They have a great variety and cater for halaal. I love the location and the convenience, which is what brings me back all the time. Service from staff is always great.

Lovely rooms! Location is nice. Close to Sandton mall, walkable. That was why I chose the place anyway. Cons - Breakfast is just there, very bland. Ugh! The Staff, only Sammy, the concierge guy was friendly and nice. I had already booked the hotel before reading reviews, most of the bad reviews I read were about the staff and had nothing to do with the hotel facilities. I arrived at the hotel and I wasn't disappointed. The lady I met at the reception was just outright rude and uncaring. I greeted her and I barely heard a reply, she was just chewing gum. The staff at the restaurant too were always just staring, no smiles whatever. I am just here wondering if it's a Jo'burg thing. I will only recommend this hotel because of location and nothing else. I don't feel very welcome there.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Town Lodge and the atmosphere appears to be a standard each time we visit. I would request that the Hotel considers putting a fridge in each room with some drinks whose cost could be part of the hotel rate. If not possible consider this as an extra upon request. Also, the transfers the hotel can communicate the name of the driver and the applicable rate. We made a number of trips and could pay the driver directly upon his quote of the bill. But if the hotel could indicate how much it would cost, it would help carry sufficient money and not be surprised Thank you Wesley Kaluba Zambia

I found the hotel facilities to be more suited for leisure than business. The room was lovely and grey and heater availability enable me to study effectively as I was in Sandton to write an exam. However bed was a bit small and the shower did not have a head which are 2 main negatives. These are the 2 most important things for me when travelling. I also need a comfortable sitting chair for sitting up while study, which the lady at reception was kind enough to offer.

You can't go wrong here. The hotel may not be the newest, but it offers a 5-star experience at a reasonable price point, at a great location in Sandton. The beds are very comfortable, little noise in either direction, no people chatting in the parking lot (which wakes me up), good breakfast; a classic and quiet 5-star. It was my second stay. My only con is that the windows don't open, not even slightly, to get fresh air, like in many hotels in SA.

Very good stay with no problems Good location near Sandton and also easy access to Grayston shopping centre and not too far from the M1 which is an arterial road that takes you quickly to Johannesburg city centre. The hotel is also near Sandton Square which is a large mall with a multitude of shops and also includes a multiplex cinema and several restaurants, besides clothing and other outlets. Also close to the Gautrain

Really great apartment type hotel and location. Offers the relaxing getaway experience. The Camelot spa facility is an amazing addition on this property. However, the property lacks the warm hotel experience from reception to walking down the passages to the rooms. It feels like a high end apartment complex. They can add heaters/aircon for that warmth feeling. Otherwise, great decor.

This is the cheapest place I can find in Sandton area and we were not disappointed. It's great value for money but location is a bit far from the Sandton City mall. Rooms are clean. Their facilities are however only satisfactory since their menu options are a bit limited (in-house) You'd have to order via their sister hotel along Catherine road to satisfy a pasta craving. I was also disappointed by how their staff are... they're poorly trained and doesn't understand English all too well.... But nonetheless, hubby was ok with the hotel overall. Plus they made up for everything with free breakfast (coffee, muffin, bread bar & fruit) and afternoon juice (to refresh).

The hotel is a bit of a walk from Rosebank Station. You should arrange a pickup with the hotel by Starbucks in the Rosebank Mall area. Keep in mind they only stop here every two hours. Best to contact them for more information if you are not taking a taxi from the airport and taking the Gautrain. In regards to the hotel it's equipped with most of what you would need. It's clean and looks fairly new. It's about a 5-7 minute walk to the Mall. The staff friendly!

We extended our stay. Here's the review we did: Well located, close to all of Sandton top spots and to highways. Very secure including vehicle secure parking monitored 24 hours. Fantastic staff, always cordial and smiling, making you feel very welcome, from reception and throughout. Great comfortable rooms, great in house cafe (awesome snacks) and in property restaurant 'Carpe Diem' with wide choices menu (great fillet steaks). The breakfast must be one of the best in town!! and the staff are super efficient and nice. Shortlisted as our favorite hotel to stay when in Johannesburg. Highly recommended.

these serviced hotel apartments have to be the best value and quality in sandton. we found them by accident as another property let us down badly on our last trip. the rooms are very big, nicely furnished and are totally self contained units with all you need for a short or long self catering stay. the staff are very helpful and competent. the location is excellent, close to sandton centre and the gautrain station. last but not least is the breakfast. good quality, plentiful and well prepared. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure.

It was our first time at the hotel and what a pleasant surprise to discover this hidden gem. Definitely one of the best hotels we've stayed in. Everything was just perfection, from the warm welcome when we arrived to the beautiful spacious eclectically decorated rooms. The rooms finally touches was just amazing, they've thought of everything to make your stay very comfortable and luxurious. You feel like you are in a luxury home with a 5 star service. On our last day we had to leave the hotel very very early our very early In the morning due to our flight. The breakfast pack they had made for us was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Well done to Anita and her staff, the hotel deserves a 5 star. We'll definitely stay stay there again.
