"Unfortunately my stay at Sant Jordi was way too short. I was in a shared dorm which was clean and comfortable, and a good sized locker for all your stuff. The hostel organize lots of nights out and events, so its really easy to meet lots different and cool people. The communal area had lots of seats and bean bags in front of a big TV and was nice and chilled space. "

Absolute to recommend as a base for sightseeings to the beautiful city. In all a very comfortable stay."

"Great hotel in a great location just opposite the metro and a couple minutes walk to the train station. Only takes about 15 mins to get to las ramblas on the metro. Rooms are a slightly small but that's not a problem at all if you're only there for a few days as we spent most the time exploring Barcelona. Lots of hotel facilities but we didn't use them as had so much else we wanted to fit in! Very friendly and helpful staff and if you sleep in the cleaners even leave a note so you can rearrange a more suitable time for them to clean your room. Would definitely stay here again!"

"It's one of the best hostels I've ever statyed in Spain. It's economic and modern. Staff are very friendly and helpful; Breakfast is really great that you can stuff yourself with yum food; The use of electric room key is very convenient and safe; The bed is very cozy; Electric plugs are available in two styles - very convenient to backpackers all around the world; Washroom is great and well-designed (though there might be a bit of water leakage from the ceiling to the standing tub); Wifi is super-fast which allows me to use laptops in the room as well; The view is magnificent; Very close to Metro station (allow us to have nightlife in city centre!); Very calm and quiet at night, you won't be disturbed by the noise in the street... I love Barcelona Urbany Hostel!"

"We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights from 18 - 22 July. Its a lovely little place, rooms are very clean and functional, despite the smallish size it was OK for our needs for the awesome price we paid. Located just next to the Clot Metro station, in a quiet suburban part of Barcelona, this was perfect because it avoided all the madness and touristy traps that you'll find in the La Rambla district, but is only one metro stop (L4 line) away from La Sagrada Familia! The hotel front desk and manager was always helpful whenever we asked for tips or directions. It was always nice to return here after a hard day of exploring the city to relax and sleep in our room. There is also free wireless internet available throughout the hotel for free - ask reception for the password. The room's windows also had external heavy duty metal shuttle blinds, which you can lower during the day to block out 100% of the sun and heat, putting the room into total darkness - perfect for that afternoon Siesta! Room Tip: Ask for a room in the higher floors to be away from the street traffic Stayed July 2011, traveled as a couple "
