Located slightly off the tourist track, Santa Fe Hotel is a welcoming, personalized boutique resort for a memorable Guam vacation. This property has an intimate feel and truly personalized service. Designed after Guam's traditional Spanish cortijos, the rooms reflect the theme and are very large, comfortable, and very well furnished. The entire hotel - not just rooms - is equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi. The setting has both direct access to a beach and coral-filled lagoon as well as the main strip of Hagatna Bay and plentiful shopping and entertainment options.
"PROS: -Great front desk service."

It's good with relatively cheap price”
Price is good comparing to other hotels in Guam. But even though I checked for the early check in, which is possible with the site, the room is ready by 3 o'clock. So don't trust the site's prearrangement for the check in hour. The room is okay, but the cleanning condition is little bit questionable. I found a hair from the mattress.
Hotel is due for a renovation update & our room lacked basic accommodations that all hotels usually carry such as the house slippers, extra tissue, a microwave, coffee maker, etc. Also a/c was excellent, extremely cold.
This hotel is right on the water. The infinity pool over looks the ocean and the sunsets from the bar:restaurant is fantastic. The wait staff was very nice as was the maid. The front desk was borderline rude. The beds were very stiff and too short for my long body. The AC was okay. The shower was just okay. The first 2 days was no hot water. The shower always made a high pitch whine when it was on.
Perfect secluded beach”
For either work or play, the location of this hotel couldn't be better. Far enough away from the crowds of Tumon to enjoy the solitude, yet just a trolley hop away from all the action as well as shopping at GPO.
The staff were nice, the location is superb but the place itself is old. Carpet has stains broken phone dirty and old room.
I was here 4 yrs. ago and it wasn't bad. Now the place is run down, dirty and the breakfast was lousy. When I was here last time they had a nice breakfast buffet. Now no buffet, they give you a menu with just a few things to pick from and that's it. Very small TV that didn't work half the time and needless to say I won't be back. The price of the hotel isn't worth $30 per night let alone what I paid.
Nice beach but facilities should be renovated soon.”
Nice staffs with nice ocean view. However, all of the facilities were very old especially room condition was bad since all of the stuffs in the room were outdated. Anyway, the staffs are very nice. Thank you for your kindness.
cool little place on a beautiful beach - affordable”
Great little place at a good rate. Stay on the beach, eat on the beach, bar on the beach, nice little pool. Cant beat it for a friendly staff and affordable rate. Breakfast is worth it for sure. Run on the beach and close to all. Great restaurant in the hotel and next door. Water park and grocery store next door as well.
Safe shelter during huge typhoon hit”
Stayed at Santa Fe Hotel (SFH) during a huge typhoon hit to Guam. The staff were very professional, patient, and replied to my request very quickly. Which level of expectation that is very difficult to get at any other 3 star hotel. Even during the typhoon there was almost no power outage, slightly couple of seconds. Size of the room was good enough for a single traveler or two, maybe a little tight for a family. Wi-Fi worked well, amenity goods were satisfactory. First there were no microwaves or water heating pot, but staff delivered them to the room right after requesting. Needed to ask to bring new towels couple of times. Small convenient shop available on first floor. Supermarket is located in a walkable distance, nice restaurant next to hotel, also GPO is in a 20 minutes walk distance. Whenever need a ride to downtown area you just need to walk 2 minutes to Onward Hotel next to SFH and catch the red shuttle bus. The beach behind the hotel was astonishing!
You'd battle to find a more perfect location than this!”
OK, the hotel is a little retro and in need of some TLC, but I honestly think this added to its charm really! From the moment I checked in all the staff were so friendly and helpful, and I think this is one of its greatest assets. Along with the perfect location right on the beach, and the truly fabulous infinity pool from where you can watch the sunsets, I had a wonderful time staying here and will be heading back again as soon as I can. Try to visit for a happy hour cocktail or beer at the on-site restaurant, The Grille, because the live music and relaxing party atmosphere makes for a fabulous place to meet new folk from all over the world. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
Old fashioned retro style hotel with wonderful staff”
Firstly it's not a high rise hotel but an old fashioned pink coloured block whose style I love because it reminds me of old fashioned guesthouses in Cuba. Secondly the rooms are large, plenty of hot water, clean towels etc. But the most outstanding thing about this hotel is the infinity pool right on the beach AND the fact that the staff are all amazing. Yes it looks a bit sad and needs a major overhaul but a big YES, it just feels like a down to earth, friendly, comfortable quiet place to stay with lovely people surrounding you. I had a very wonderful stay here.
The LEGEND continues”
ALU and PANG were brothers, always competing and challenging each other to be better for others. This legend is particularly found at this hotel on Guam. I enjoyed my stay because of HOSPITALITY. THANK YOU and enjoy! BRING OUT MORE of the HÅFA ADAI spirit than just saying Håfa Adai on the telephone or as we are greeted!
Great location. Very dated. Weird place.”
I stayed at the Santa Fe for 2 nights. The staff are hit or miss. The hotel is sketchy. The rooms are dated and all the furniture is damaged. The hotel is in serious need of a huge makeover. I think that is why there is always availability. Really overpriced and you will be disappointed with the room but not the location. The hotel is right on the beach with a view of the island that you cant easily wade out to. It is right next to the boat rental for the cove. The hotel pool is nice, not because the pool itself is very good but because the view is so nice. It was nice to sit and sun there if the pool is not filled with loud children (or if there is not a party event going on.. there was when I was there so couldnt really relax by the pool one of the days). I had some issues with the staff. I had to speak to the owner because the manager was away. Not sure if he was aware of the condition or the way the hotel operates. If he was a good owner, the hotel would be better.
Not a valuable hotel ”
Room lights are not good, desks are dusty, and pillows are not comfortable. After check in, towels are not available, need to ask housekeeping for that. Save box didn't work, also need to fix. But location is good, near to airport, and view in front of hotel is beautiful.
Horrible receptionist staff”
They even cut off the telephone line so that guest can't reach the reception. The reception staff is so unkind. The swimming pool is filthy. Wouldnt recommend to anyone. 너무 더럽고 불친절해요 수영장은 들어가면 안될 정도에요 돈 더 써서 다른데 가세요
Guam / Santa Fe Hotelby”
The Santa Fe Hotel is a very nice place, however it needs some upgrades----The phones in the rooms do not work, furniture and drapes very old and laundry room only has one washer and dryer. All the staff very helpful and friendly, Benny at the front desk was always willing to help a very good person. Mercy in house keeping did a great job taking care of my room. The Santa Fe Bar and Grille was great, right by the beach the food was great and the staff very friendly. Keilani at Reservation was very helpful getting me checked in cause I arrived early and when I had to request two more days due to the typhoon. Overall I had a great time and yes I would stay their again.
It's still ok.. but hope they will maintain it better”
Staff both reception and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Pool area is nice. It has a little shop inside which is helpful. I can see how the place itself used to be very lovely, but is starting to deterioate a little. I happened to overhear two regular customers on different days confirm this concern. The place can be refreshed and renovated a little. For example beddings and towels have holes and pillows are so flat we woke up a bit sore. Furniture and some areas are damaged/scratched. A paint job could do wonders. But I like that its locally owned, the employees are pleasant from reception all the way down to the cleaners and the overall energy of the place is positive. Location is not ideal though unless you intend to only stay at the hotel the whole time or have a car
Great room and bed for the money. Got the Oceanfront Suite, breathtaking Sunsets all 3 nights. Nice Bar & Grill on premises. Shirley's Restaraunt right next door. Highly recommend this place. Not in the heavy Tourist mecca of Tumon. Quiet but still close to everything. And it's the only locally-owned beachfront hotel on the island.
We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The room was okay as well as the facilities. The Wifi has weak sgnal. It a bit far from the main city thoroughfare and had to travel by cab to visit the places we wanted. But its a good location nonetheless if you want to just relax and go less on shopping.
