"My husband and I were at The Huntley for our 10th wedding anniversary, the hotel and staff (Jonathan, Carlos and especially Joanne) went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. We dined in The Penthouse Restaurant, where Lisa our hostess ensured that the service was excellent, as was the food. The room we had was great, and I would recommend The Huntley to anyone going to stay in Santa Monica."

"A much more affordable spot if you are willing to walk a bit or take an Uber or Lyft. You can still enjoy everything Santa Monica has to offer, as well as the rest of LA. Beds are very comfy and rooms/bathrooms are spacious and clean. Be sure to request the top floor. I switched rooms because the people above me kept me up most of the first night there--lots of stomping around. Staff was really nice and accomodating, however. "

"Location is perfect. <5mins walk to Metro train station, shopping mall, bus station and the pier. Room rate is not cheap tho but then again it is closed to everything you need and want. McDonald is just few steps across the street. There is $20+ parking fee. Breakfast is not included in the price. I didn't avail parking n breakfast. It was a good experience and luving the vibes in Santa Monica. Now that I saw what's around Wyndham and I learned how to get around, definitely I will come back - and not necessarily Wyndham will be my 1st choice unless I get a better rate."

"This is an old hotel, but some of the rooms have gone through a renovation. I love the location, and the fact the windows really open. It's not new, and it's not super fancy, but the people are pleasant, parking is easy, rooms are large and I like its funky vibe. I'm in Santa Monica several times a year and I always stay here. If you are looking for fancy and new, then it might not appeal to you, but I find it fits me like an old shoe. "
