Family with young children
Stayed 1 night in September 2016
HORRIBLE service. Don't stay. ”
Service was terrible. I was travelling with two young kids and two old folks so really needed help. Reception at check-in was rude and unprofessional with a don't care attitude. Concierge was terrible and porter complained about my dad putting his shopping (= couple of souvenirs and one t-shirt) into his large suitcase before handing over to him saying we now made it heavier than before..... fyi this porter was about 6 foot tall. As we checked in late afternoon and wanted to go for a dip in the pool, we went to reception to ask for towels for the 2 kids and 1 adult so we could go swimming. Reception said they only gave out towels in the morning.... after some negotiation he handed us two towels saying they could only give two. Had to argue that we had three people. Next day at breakfast staff was rude and ignored us totally. When we went to take coffee for ourselves we got a stern talking to, saying tea was self service but for coffee we had to ask for and then wait till they served us. Like everyone was expected to know all hotel rules and procedures. I've been to more than 30 countries but this experience ranks pretty low. Thankfully we only stayed one night 4th to 5th September 2016.
