Small but Lovely Hotel with Delicious Breakfast”

The friendly staff and the huge, delicious complementary breakfast

i stayed at hotel sanur avenue when i first arrive in bali to use as an outpost from which to find a more permanent place to live for my extended stay here. the location isn't great for walking anywhere, but they were willing to drive me to various places for very reasonable rates-- even taking me to my new home when i moved out. the breakfast was amazing, huge portions of so many delicious local items, and the room was very nice for the price. it seems that most of the hotel's occupants only book for one or two nights when passing through on business or short travel, so there was definitely a somewhat empty feel to the place, but i didn't mind because i was usually out in the days. i definitely recommend hotel sanur avenue if you have a motorbike or car, or if you are willing to hire them as a driver. it's not next to anything noteworthy, but in good location to get you to ubud, sanur, downtown denpasar-- even kuta-- within a reasonable time.

Great hotel and service above and beyond!”

Friendly and courteous staff, good vegan food

I had a great stay at Sanur Avenue. The staff made me very welcome - especially Sisca - who went out of her way to make me feel at home and take me out on her scooter. I am a vegan - strict vegetarian - and they provided great vegan meals for me for breakfast, lunch and dinner when required. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but you can walk or get transport to Sanur beach. The hotel is right next to a main road so bring your ear plugs!

Great, Peaceful anc Cheap!”

Bright, Big Room with Cable TV and Wireless

When we first entered the small dark lobby, we thought we made a wrong choice! But thank God we were wrong! The room made us smile, so spacious, bright and cosy! Cable TV has lots of channels and wireless is good! Awesome breakfast is fixed at 8am but it will sure make you full till dinner! True enough this hotel is far from the hot spots but taxis are easily available at main road. I really enjoyed my stay at Sanur Avenue.

Vast room, clean and cheap

someone told me sanur is a more quieter place to say and it's true. This hotel is not that hard to find as the huge signboard could be easily seen from the man road. The staff is friendly, good service and very polite. The room is big for a common 2-person room. The bed and the bathroom are also vast with bath tub in it. Hot water available and even free WIFI!!! Breakfast is also nice, served outside of our room where we are given a table for ourselves.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”

Quite, Best value for money, Very good service

I came to Bali to have a business conference and I bring aside my wife and my daughter. I booked for a standard room yet they gave me a honeymoon suit room without additional fee. The room was great, though they don't provide any fridge inside the room. The breakfast was great. It's not just a breakfast because they give you plenty of choices, from rice, noodle, bread, cereals, eggs, chicken, shrimp, sausages, juice, tea, coffee, milk, water. You can have a brunch with all of those foods. After my conference finished, I spent one day to have a sightseeing with my family. They provide several tour package, or if you prefer to get more freedom, you can rent a motorbike (it's automatic, you'll get 2 helmets too) as cheap as 60,000 IDR for the whole day. The only cons I think is the location. If you prefer a great night-life, this isn't for you. Go find a hotel in Kuta instead. But if you want a peaceful, quiet location, this is the place.

Quaint Hotel and Special Service”

The hotel rooms were very spacious, and decor had special balinese features that made the hotel quaint. While it was just my son and myself occupying the room, we got a room with 2 queen-sized beds, and a separate seating area. The breakfast was filling and was made up of Indonesian cooking and western standards. The staff accommodation was great and very helpful, that made our stay very comfortable. They even provided free ride to the beach! For the prices we got the rooms from Agoda, this hotel is great!

The hotel was a little difficult to find for the taxi from the airport, and a call to the hotel by the cab driver helped a lot. The rooms initially given to us was a honeymoon room, and a request for transfer got us an much better room at no additional price! The breakfast was great and quite filling. They offered us the free ride to the beach and back. The staff willingly helped us get taxi transport whenever we needed it and at meter prices (so we did not feel that the taxi would be overcharging!)There was free wifi access at the lobby! The hotel staff and management was very very helpful to all our needs!

Vast room, clean and cheap, nice 2nd bed

I stayed with other 3 friends here. The room is really big and for 4 ppl stay it's really comforting. The bed is huge, the extra bed is also nice Large bathroom, but the only lack is the bathroom is like for couple stay because it doesn't have a door!! Hahaha!! The snack is not like typical hotel where they charge really really expensive for the snacks. Here it's just OK price. Free Wifi, nice air-conditioner. The breakfast is served for us on a table outside of our room. The staff is very friendly

the room they gave was huge so was the bed and the comfort room. the breakfast included was fantastic but the best feature of this hotel is the service of the staff. they are very polite and assists you anything you want. the tours offerred by the hotel is also cheap.

Although the location was a little bit difficult to find, the hotel does offer cheap airport pick-up. The location is peaceful and far from tourist heavy area. I loved my stay in this hotel and will definitely stay here again if im in Bali.

Clean room with accommodating staff ”

Very clean room and accommodating staff

The hotel is not very visible but is near the highway. We booked for a Superior room, but the interior is far from what we have expected. The toilet is somewhat old as well as the tub. The TV do not have cable and the AC is not really functioning well. We arrived late in the evening so my husband and I decided to just let it go and settle the matter in the morning. We asked the staff that we want to change our room and luckily, when we arrived in the evening from our long tour, the staff managed to reserved one room for us - it is a standard room. But by the looks of it, it is more likely what we have expected than the superior one. The room is very nice and cozy. The breakfast is oh soooo delicious!! One of the staff drove us to Supermarket to buy some staff without any additional cost. All in all, the experience is very good considering the price we have paid for. We'll definitely stay here again.

Room is big, food is nice

Though only one night, it was good. The staffs were very welcome and the service was very good. However, the location is not that good, i thought it was quite close to the airport but it is quite far about 40 mins driving. But if you visit Bali for few days, this hotel is affordable and worth of money.

Old Hotel with Great Staff”

I was upgraded to the suite room, because apparently all the superior rooms were still fully booked!

2 thumbs up for the staff - really friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite old - I think it was an old house before - and doesn't look as "shiny" as in the pictures. The food was quite plain too. The location is pretty strategic if you're mobile and need to go to Ubud/Denpasar/Sanur/Kuta. I would recommend to stay here for 1-2 nights but not longer.

Big Room but not Denpasar area”

1 room can be occupied 4 people

This hotel not really in Denpasar area. It's already in Padang Bay area. I got hard time finding this hotel. The room was huge. I booked a room for 2 people but it can be occupied 4 people. The room was clean but I'm not too comfort with the window in bath room, because there's only curtain on it and there's small "garden" next my room. People can see me on bath room from that window. They provide tea, sugar and coffee in room but no hot water or coffee maker in room. They served bread (no butter just jam and chocolate chip/meses and bread not fresh because it's bit hard), Fruits, tea, rice with vegetable (cap cay), "bakwan", fried squid but it taste bad. This hotel perfect place for people who just need place to sleep.

Big room hotel”

Big room, fairly delicious breakfast, free wi-fi, quite neighbourhood

i and my family, consists of my sister and two parents, were stayed at this hotel via reservation from agoda. at first, i thought this hotel looked like a honeymoon hotel, as you can see from the sample images they provide (bathroom with open-air and no limit/border with the bedroom). but my guess was wrong then. i reserved the junior suite which it had two bedrooms, each had quite a big room (mine 4m x 5m), 1 bathroom with shower and bathtub, and 1 living room for our own self only. the air-con quite cold but at the first two days, at night, the electricity went off for a short period between 1 to 3 times. in my opinion, it's still okay. the room got clean everyday, especially the towel and the slipper, they changed it everyday with the clean one, i'm really happy with it. we also had fairly delicious breakfasts everyday. overall, this hotel met my family needs.
