Exceptional”

Sapa Eden Hotel is a shining example of Vietnamese Hospitality at it's best. The staff was superb, meals were excellent and the location in Sa Pa Town perfect. Located on Fansipan Street, it's an easy uphill walk to the center of town yet quieter than being on the main street. I will say the hotel could use a lot of referbishing, the balcony on my room was molded with moss growing on it. A good pressure washing and new paint would do the place wonders. My room was nice, a comfortable queen bed, a glass enclosed shower, plenty of hot water and excellent housekeeping. The hotel could use a small cocktail lounge, Sa Pa doesn't have much of a nightlife. I recommend if you are arriving by overnight train from Hanoi, arrange transfers with the hotel in advance. It's a mere 5.00 USD and you are met in front of the Lao Cai train station by the drive holding a sign with your name. It avoids the scammers who will charge you 20.00 USD or more. The hotel will arrange your transfer back to the train station also. I would love to stay at their sister hotel the Sapa Boutique, but Sapa Eden is a much better location.

Amazing view, quiet yet convenient location”

View, Location, Staff

Overall the stay was great: The staff were very accommodating and spoke English well. We were able to get an early check-in at 10am. If you take the train in like we did, you will arrive quite early so be prepared to kill some time. I would not recommend killing time at the Eden restaurant as their food service is very basic. The Sapaview restaurant a couple of blocks up was excellent. Sapa Eden does have a little area for luggage to be stored, it wouldn't be the worst idea to bring a lock as it is in an open area, however we didn't have any problems. We liked that the location was a little away from town as it is a bit of a mad-house with honking and motorbikes (like many areas in Vietnam!). There were also fewer locals stalking the hotel entrance. They are very aggressive salespeople, you will get to know them well. The rooms are smaller than they look online, we booked a junior suite. The furniture was oddly organized in the room (chaise directly beside the bed, dresser that hits the night table when opening). That was a result of the room being too small for all of the furniture. I liked that they replenished our waters daily and provided fruit and a bottle of wine. The shower was hot and had good pressure, big pluses in my book! The food in almost every Sapa restaurant is awesome, if management reads this review, please consider upgrading your dining facilities! A lot of new hotels are being built to compete for tourist dollars so great service and an amazing view may not be enough to hold up the great ratings in the future. I don't consider powdered juice mix, wonder bread, instant coffee and instant noodles to be good food.

One night in sapa”

We were a group of 4 that booked the family room at sapa eden hotel. We stayed for 1 night. The room was clean and had an amazing view of the valley. It was also in a convenient location - 5-10 mins walk to the city centre. Trung (the receptionist) was also very helpful and knowledgable. She helped us arrange our trip to the waterfalls, the trek to the 3 villages as well as did a room call everytime the cab arrived to take us to our destinations. Overall an excellent experience at sapa Eden hotel. Would recommend a stay there.:)

Location, views, service

The most beautiful hotel to stay at. The location and views are breathtaking. The room was gorgeous. Close to hiking, day trips, shopping. The customer service provided by the friendly staff was wonderful. Nothing was a problem. Happy to help with what you required. Great suggestions for things to see and do. Cannot wait to go again. The little family owned and run café across the road served great food, coffee, cold beer and cocktails with the best views. Go into the villages with the local guides..best experience. Go to Sapa and stay at the Sapa Eden Hotel..you wont be disappointed.

Wonderful Hotel - Surpassed Expectations”

Clean Rooms, Great Location, Excellent Service

my two friends and i only stayed at the sapa eden hotel for one night in advance of a hike up mt fansipan but we would have been happy to stay longer. the room was clean and comfortable, the location is quiet, convenient and has excellent views, and the staff service was extremely friendly and helpful. the manager in particular is wonderful, speaks good english and was more than happy to assist us in a number of ways. the most impressive aspect of this was his willingness to help us in storing our bags whilst we made our trek, and then inviting us to use the hotel's shower facilities on our return, even though we had chosen a climbing tour from a rival hotel and were no longer checked-in! the shuttle service to/from lao cai and complimentary breakfast with amazing views were also excellent and i would be happy to stay here again.

Great customer service”

Customer service. Spectacular view. Location is close to town area.

The customer service at Sapa Eden was fantastic. The staff always made sure they could do everything they could to make the stay accommodating. Our stay was for one night, but we were able to use a spare room before check in and after check. We stayed in the family suite which was spacious for the 3 of us. The room was clean and the only qualm I would have is that the hot water doesn't last for very long. Upon arrival, the staff here organised a private trekking tour with a girl who was very delightful and fun to be around. The location of the hotel was within 5-10 minutes walking distance to the main town area. It was all worth it for the spectacular view, especially from the dining area on the fourth floor. Sapa was breathtaking and our stay at Sapa Eden made it even more enjoyable.

Perfect hotel and great management”

The view is fantastic. Really good beds and great service.

We arrived at 6am after travelling on the overnight train. The staff were up quickly and got 'Zoom', the manager, who welcomed us and let us have the use of a spare room, to sleep and shower in until our room was ready at noon. Zoom, then also booked a trek tour for us and arranged our bus back to Hanoi. Our room is fantastic, wit a big bed, good tv and a brilliant view across the cloudy valley below. Breakfast is filling and tasty with a big plate of fresh fruit as an added extra. The only slight gripe would be the wifi, which can be temperamental, but is always sorted within a minute if we speak to the staff. Plus there are 2 good computers in the lobby and a 2nd wifi system It is well worth putting up with for the rest of this fantastic hotel. I cannot reccomend Sapa Eden and Zoom, with his staff for a great stay in Sapa.

Love Love Love this hotel!”

Beautiful Views, Helpfull Staff

We loved our stay at Sapa Eden Hotel. The staff were great and we were given a room with a spectacular view. They arranged a pick-up for us at the train station - we walked out to see a sign with our names on it. This was much cheaper than going with the guys who stand out the front and we simply paid on check-out. Breakfast every morning is simple but very good. The hotel is slightly out of town but only a few minutes walk away (up hill) we would definitely stay there again if we managed to get back to Sapa.

Love the Sapa Eden hotel, have stayed there two times now and would go back again. It is good value for money, amazing views and just a bit out of town which is excellent for avoiding traffic, plus lots of restaurants to choose from nearby. The receptionist Tran was so lovely and even upgraded our rooms for free, helped us organising lifts and tours and went above and beyond in her service. Thank you very much Sapa Eden!

View, staff, room and breasfast

the rooms are nice and clean, comfortable bed. the greatest asset of this hotel is definitely their staff. this hotel is awesome for the price. the room with a double bed and awesome tv and cleaned perfectly without anything stolen every single day, towels always replaced. shower was a little small, but that's way better than we stayed rest of vietnam. the breakfast on rooftop floor was good enough to get you through until lunchtime and awesome view, and for the price along with free coffee/tea and internet, totally worth it. it's in the perfect part of sapa for tourists, near the catcat village! however, the best thing about this place is the staff. the manager is very knowledge and helpful. he knows everything about sapa, he fixed us up with good places to see and eat at, some helpful tips about sapa and he even figured all our train & flight plans out for us...great service!

eden: a delightful place - paradise”

the staff
could do with a bit more attention to the cleanliness

My 16 year old daughter and myself thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in Sapa. The people are a bit in your face selling their wares so the Eden Sapa was in every sense of the word an Eden in that it provided a delightful refuge away from the maddening crowd. The hotel is located on the outskirts of town so was very quiet. The views from our windows were breathtaking - so beautiful! Perhaps the best thing about the Eden Sapa were the front desk staff. The manager Zoom was an absolute delight - so helpful and courteous as was his assistant Zee. It was lovely to be greeted by their smilng faces each time we passed them at reception or met them at breakfast.

Friendly Staff, Relaxing Hotel”

staff, location,

Upon arrival at Sapa Eden, it became clear that the Junior Suite didn't have a sofa bed as advertised, rather only a small sofa. The staff were apologetic, professional, and gave us an entire free room for the night. Excellent service. Breakfast was limited, but staff friendly, courteous, and willing to help wherever possible. You can book a return trip to Hanoi with them and they will take care of everything. There is also a very friendly dog that lives in the hotel which is nice. Really good value for money. A very decent 3 star hotel.

The staffs are really friendly and the breakfast was good. Most importantly the view from the window is the best

Spent two nights at Sapa Eden and I wouldn't want to leave the scenery that you can see directly from the window and also their Resturant + balcony. The shower facilities might be a little slow in terms of hot water but it does not affect much. Strongly recommend this hotel if you want to get the nice view the moment u are awake. The staffs are very friendly and they have maps to guide and recommend you places to trek and eat. Strongly recommend this hotel for Sapa

we booked two rooms through agoda and arranged pickup from lao cai, early check-in and late check-out direct by email and all for a fair price. when we arrived zeus allowed us to use both rooms as the second wasn't booked. i was delighted when opening the window of my newly refurbished room to see that i had an excellent view over the valley leading to cat cat village. the staff had a good command of english leading to good communication at all levels. zeus advised on things to do in and around sapa and where to dine. sapa eden is located on the road to cat cat village and the same road also led directly to the market and through it directly to the church. i will stay at sapa eden on my next visit and am happy to recommend sapa eden to other travelers.

Good View”

Good location and nice staffs

I stayed 5 nights in the Junior Suite. Had 2 balconies and very nice view. As I was solo, it would feel nicer if the room have a chain locker. The hotel looked older than in the picture, but kept clean. Room was big and had good view. The staffs are more than helpful and, if available, allowed me early check-in with the breakfast upon arrival. It was very pleasant because I needed sleep so badly from the night train. I liked the pho with beef from the breakfast menu. The internet connection from the room wasn't available most of the time, but well, it's not a big city so it was no big problem for me. I could use internet from the lobby computer anytime. The hotel is located at the end of street to Cat Cat village. It's quiet and peaceful yet convenient to tour as the Sapa town is pretty small. If I visit Sapa again, will stay here again.

Exceptional”

We stayed in Sapa Eden Hotel for two nights, and for both mornings I had banana pancakes with a gorgeous view of the mountains — bliss! They gave us an upgrade and helped us find a trekking tour. The staff made this stay all the more memorable as their kindness was genuine. Thank you Eden Hotel!

Nice family hotel, little bit cold”

Staff and manager are very nice

Had a lovely time in Sapa Eden Hotel. Gorgeous family runs the place. Rooms are very comfortable, if a little bit cold in winter. Would have a beautiful view from restaurant, balcony and room. Unfortunately very foggy while we were there. Never mind, just have to come back another time!
