Wonderful views”
The hotel is very well located, the views of the valley are amazing, nice breakfast and comfortable rooms. The staff was very kind and they made our stay easier and enjoyable. By the way, there is a restaurant next to the hotel where to enjoy the same landscape, eat good vietnamese food and they also rent motorbikes!

Would definitely recommend ”
We originally paid for a basic room however it was really damp as there were no windows. So we upgraded to a room with a mountain view. The beds were comfy and the room was very clean. Staff were lovely and incredibly helpful with everything!

This place is not like what I expected”
In the next day's morning, even we didnt hang up any "makeup room" label, staffs knocked the door and shout at us for cleaning. We were sleeping but had to get up and notice that we dont need cleaning service yet. But then, just like they did not get what i said, they went get key and try to unlock the door. we had to open the door and told them one more time. But they acted in bad manner, yelling us like it's our fault. One more thing is the receptionist told us that breakfasts are not included while i already paid for those. I will choose another hotel next time Such an awful way to start a new day.

A nice place per good price”
I was there with my wife and young son for two nights. The hotel has a nice view of mountain. Our room has 2 beds: A large one and a single one. It has wifi, hot water, TV, air conditioner... they are OK. In the morning the hotel serves breakfast as buffet. It's OK, too. The room price per 2 nights is about 1 million VND. It means 45 USD. However, it's a bit noisy in the midnight made by other guesses and the cooker of the hotel. In general, I think it's proper price and good place to stay.

not recommemded”
we spent 2 nights and It is not recommendable. do not stay in this hotel. rooms are small and not very well cleaned. there is so much noise in the rooms that sleeping is hard. the worst breakfast we have ever had in Vietnam was in Sapa lodge hotel. i also asked the staff for some "non-chocolate" cereal (cereal is the only thing worth in that breakfast) and they told me they dont have. very very bad.

Beautiful Views”
Sapa is full of mid-priced hotels and Sapa Lodge appears to be one of the better ones. It's a bit down the road from the main action in the center of town but it's a short walk. Staff was generally helpful, upgrading me both times I stayed there. Breakfast was mediocre though. Avoid the spa across the street (forgot the name - no relation to the hotel). Worst massage ever.

Location is good and the view is absolutely amazing ”
The hotel located in a quite good location Having an amazing view But there are constructions outside which can be quite noisy and the room at the basement is too wet! The smile is awful! Overall is good as the staff are very welcoming

Construction noise + room running out of hot water”
Sa Pa is undergoing major development works, and Sapa Lodge Hotel is located right in the epicenter of all that development. While that is a natural and even welcome change for the area, the works start at 7am and end at 9:30pm. At this point, a sincere apology could do wonders for us after the 6 hour bus ride from Hanoi. Instead, a bitter receptionist declined to give us a refund and offered us a paid upgrade for an already expensive room - an upgrade to a room with mountain view rather than "street view" (the room description, of course, has no mention of the latter.) Turns out, there is more construction going on the "mountain view" side even if we had taken that paid upgrade. Since they have refused to give us a refund, we did eventually stay in the room we had originally booked. Breakfast lacked love, and the bread wasn't fresh, but we wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible anyway. Another receptionist later apologized and was much more friendly and nice, to our relief.
