It’s far away from Sapa Town but totally worth it”
I was not aware when I booked the homestay that it located pretty far from Sapa Town but it totally blew my mind how peaceful and lovely the village is. There’s a river just behind Thuat place and it would be lovelely if we could stay longer. Stay at least 3 days, it is amazing. Thank you Thuat for such amazing hospitality, on our way back to Sapa Town, he stopped at several places along the way and the view are breathtaking. Recommended!

Good”
Overall good option for who is more interested out of the city. I feel food is quite expensive however it depends on what is the individual preference.

Fantastic Homestay near Sapa”
Amazing hospitality and some of the best food in Vietnam! We went on a guided hike (15KM) and it was very interesting and cool to see and learn about the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Sapa.

Stunning location and friendly family ”
They welcome and treat you as a family member. Located in a beautiful valley near to river it’s a wonderful place to just switch off and enjoy fresh air and incredible nature. Waterfall is situated behind the house 5min walking distance and there’s garden with orange trees. There are several options for hiking, they will help you to find most suitable option for you. There’s only four rooms, so it really feels like a small summerhouse rather than a guesthouse. And the food they prepared for us absolutely incredible, one of the best taste experience in Vietnam. Highly recommend and wish all the best to Orange stay family.

The best stay in Vietnam”
The orange homestay was amazing! We had just arrived to Hanoi and it seemed a bit too chaotic and busy for us, therefore arriving to Orange homestay (45 min from Sapa) was just what we needed. Beautiful surrounding within the valley between the rice fields, little waterfall literally in backyard, nice orchard and just breathtaking views. Had great hikes and overview of the local life. But the best part- friendliness of the hosts. We had two family dinners and one even with extended family, so welcoming 😊 And the amazing delicious delicious homemade food!!! Thank you Tuan, Lan and Super Ben, we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend your place to everyone! If you love nature, culture and more peaceful surrounding, check it out yourself! Just a little recommendation for future- prices of all the services could be mentioned somewhere on the wall at your home (meals, hikes etc), then everything would be really clear.

Authentic and local”
This homestay is perfect for those seeking to experience village life as it is, away from tourism. The family is very welcoming and do their best to make your stay as memorable as possible. This is not Sapa with its mass tourism, but local life in the village as it is. This comes with pro's and con's. The con's: the village is far from Sapa, an hour and a half driving. The house is made out of wood, so walls are pretty thin. There is also 'village radio' from 6 till 7 in the morning. The pro's: you get to experience local life, in the most beautiful surroundings. Tuan took us on a trek which was absolutely gorgeous and we hardly saw other tourists. The price for this trek is very reasonable if you manage to gather a small group. We 'helped' Lan cooking. Lan is such a sweet and beautiful girl, and an amazing cook! Tuan is so lucky :-). There is also the waterfall right behind the house. All in all a very nice experience!

So very homely”
We loved our stay here. Although it is far away from the town we were so lucky to have all the beautiful views right on the doorstep and from the balcony of the room. We stayed in the mountain facing room and it was lovely. The bed is the most comfortable bed we have slept on in vietnam. The duvet was super soft and it was so cosy. The food was delicious. We ate at the homestay for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had homemade candy and learnt about how they live in the countryside. We didn’t book a trek as we were able to walk around on our own. Truly a beautiful stay and would have stayed longer if our visas weren’t about to expire.

Exceptional”
We had originally planned on spending two nights at Sapa Orange Homestay. Within an hour of arriving, we had cancelled our forwarding plans and booked for an additional two nights. The homestay is located in a quiet village in the mountains, about 1/1.5 hours outside Sapa Centre. Lan and Tran are the perfect hosts - always trying to better themselves, their homestay and their guests' experiences. The meals are fresh and delicious, and they will happily provide you with recommendations and advice on how to get the most out of your stay. We loved the peacefulness of the area, our chats with Lan and Tran, and the local experience that we received. We can't wait to return.

Amazing place”
I loved the place and people there. I felt so welcome and if I needed something I just had to ask and they helped. There was a waterfall in the backyard which was so cool!

Good for basecamp for trecking”
If you are planning for trecking, this is a good place for your basecamp. There are lots of places worth visiting around this. It's clean, and located in a calm village. One inconvenient thing is that bathroom is not in your room but at 1st floor while your room is at 2nd floor.

Bisher meine beste Unterkunft!”
