Good”
The room is clean and warm. The staff is helpful and friendly by explaining and booking the capble ticket to Fansipan for us. However, the preparation is not really good as I booked the room with large bed but they gave us 2 separeted single beds instead (the staff then had to come and merge the beds later). The hot water was weird also. I can only get hot water at the sink only, while the water at the shower was not warm enough.

Good view but the only positive”
We had a view facing the mountains which was amazing and they did allow us to check in at 8am as we’d caught the night train from Hanoi but we weren’t impressed with the hotel itself particularly. The room itself wasn’t very big,it was quite dark because our lights didn’t work properly, the air con didn’t work properly and the bed was really uncomfortable. As a westerner breakfast wasn’t very good as they only really served noodles, meat rice etc so we only went for one of the 2 mornings we were staying and ate just sone bread and fruit. We did try lunch the first day we got there because we were tired but no one really spoke English so got our order completely wrong and after waiting 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches and then they only bought one out. If you’re looking for a nice view the hotel does have that but for comfort and facilities I would have stayed somewhere else.

Nice ”
The staff is very nice and helpful in everything. The room itself was not so clean and there were also cockroaches. I do not think they changed sheets. Breakfast is very good.

How could this be at 3 star hotel? ”
We stay at room 502. I’m really mad about this property and I was confused how Agoda judge this as 3 star. They don’t even have a lift. We climb 5 floor to get to our room. The room picture is totally different from the actual. The towel they provided is with holes, the hair dryer even worst, is a burned hair dryer. And the plug in the toilet and also burned.

Great view, staff went above and beyond to meet our needs”
We really enjoyed our stay at Sapa view Hotel. Yes the room witnesses the age of the hotel and the sink leaks but don't let those tiny details make you hesitate to book there. The receptionnist is amazing and since they are also a little travel agency they booked us a private trek in the rice paddies with the ever so nice hmong guide Sue outside of the normal tourist routes. Would stay there again. Ask for a room with a view. It is one of the last truly magnificent viewpoint of the Sapa Valley in an affordable price range.

Warm & friendly staff made me felt really at home”
The hotel is relatively new (1 year old). A very cosy place with friendly and helpful staff who really made me felt at home. After booking a room, I emailed the hotel to enquire about guided tours. The hotel's friendly staff (Jenifer) provided me with tips and even helped book train tickets and arrange for land transfer to and fro Lao Cai station and Sapa town. The tour guide turned out to be awesome! Plus lunch and dinner was provided as part of the day tour. I really had a lot of fun at Sapa, all thanks to the hotel's kind arrangement. Every room has a fireplace and guests can request for someone to light up the fireplace at night when it's cold. The view from balcony was breathtaking. The only area which can be improved is the design of the bathroom. The bathroom gets all wet when we shower, which makes it really inconvenient. Also, the window in the bathroom, when left open, will attract many many insects into the bathroom (not sure if this only happens during winter).

Excellent hotel with a great view”
We arrived the hotel to meet the receptionist who was very friendly and spoke fluent English, the location of the place was easy to find and the view was stunning. The room features a fireplace with was a little troublesome to keep the fire alive, however it was fun to sit around the fireplace. Basically in Sapa the weather affects the trekking and photo takings, we were there during January 2 which had fine picture taking spots however on the second day it was raining and the mist covered up all the hills and waterfall. Hence we decided to stay in the hotel, which the allow us to extend our check out timing to 6pm(half price) and arranged transportation as well. The staff are extremely helpful and kind and often offer to provide greater service than expected.

great location, excellent view from room”
tired and exhausted after overnight train to sapa and asked if we could check in early , v pleased that rooms and breakfast were made available at such an early hour the hotel made organising transport and tours simple and affordable Our Black Hmong guide Ku was perfect, and an excellent sense of humour amazing views from the rooms only few minutes walk to sapa central rooms comfortable, shower door opens inwards and a bit awkward but otherwise bathroom ok upper levels great for the views but involve a lot of steps, bear in mind if not keen on stairs staff very helpful and attentive restaurant meals were average, recommend walk into town for dinner

Excellent interior with good view”
Booked 2 rooms and stayed here 1 night with family. Love the deluxe garden view room which oversees bamboo trees. It's on the 4th floor and you have to walk through an open area to get there. Quite isolated but unique feel. The other room was upgraded to mountain view for free, on the 2nd floor. Awesome view of the Fansipan peak in the morning! Do note that there is no lift in this hotel. Access by stairs only. Love the clean and nicely decorated rooms. Electric blankets available. Fireplace not in use as it was not cold enough. Rain showerhead available in bathrooms - water pressure could be higher - but sufficient considering the hotel size and being located on a mountain. Walking distance to Sapa town. Breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly. No complaints. Overall excellent experience.

Fantastic hotel with extra's!”
this is a beautiful hotel in a great location, just down the road from the main tourist strip, which is perfect. we arrived from hanoi via the sapa overnight train, so at the hotel at 0700h, ie way before the midday check-in time. we were given our room early, available at 0730h, so we spent the half hour eating brekky at the hotel. we were upgraded to a valley view room, which came with a real wood fire in the room, which was lit by the staff at 1800h. the early check-in was awesome, giving us time for a morning sleep so as to recover from the train trip. the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was lovely and clean. in the evening we dined at the hotel restaurant, which provided entertainment from a hmong man who played a variety of flutes for two hours. this hotel was worth more than what we paid! we were very happy!

Great hotel, fantastic views and friendly service”
Although there were many stairs to climb, the views from the 4th floor were well worth it. Very comfortable beds and very clean rooms made up for the bathroom where you had to squeeze into the shower as the door faced the toilet (a very big person would struggle to fit through the gap). Also had to ask for extra toilet paper as no spare rolls were in the room!! All of the staff were most friendly and professional, and the tour officer organised for us to join a terrific group tour at a great price. All up really enjoyed our quiet retreat at the Sapa View Hotel and would recommend it.

Best place to stay in Sapa”
The Sapa View Hotel was perfect for our stay in Sapa. It has the best location with access to best views and Sapa town centre but a little quieter area. Fantastic rooms, and the most friendly and helpful staff. We checked out other hotels, but this remains our first choice.

Friendly, clean and welcoming”
Although the weather we experienced was challenging; temps down to 3c and 100% mist, the Sapa View Hotel was a really warm, welcoming place. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the room was well equipped and clean. It's position is ideal to tour both the town and the outlying villages.

Decent Hotel in a great part of Sapa”
This hotel was located in a great part of Sapa. It was quiet and had spectacular views of the valley. The staff here was not extremely helpful, but part of it was because of the language barrier. The rooms were spacious and cosy. The room we stayed in had a nice bathroom with a separate shower, but not all rooms have the shower separated from the rest of the bathroom. We slept well in the comfy beds. It was cold in the morning, but that was mostly due to the power going out. There are fireplaces in each room, but they had run out of wood while we were there. Each bed did have an electric blanket though. Overall it was a great stay and it was nice that they held our bags for us while we were out trekking after we had to check out.

Nice hotel with fantastic view”
sapa view hotel is a couple of hundred meters down the road from the busy main street just a minute's walk from bamboo in the direction of the valley. very quiet location. rooms are contemporary style, wooden interior, very tastefully done. small but very nice bathroom. all very clean and tidy. staff is friendly and helpful although somewhat young and unexperienced. breakfast is only so-so, but that goes for most of the food in sapa... it's not a gourmet destination. highly recommended!
