Good value compared to similar hotels, clean , well located about 8 mins walk from Hammersmith tube , 2-3 mins from great pubs. typical converted London townhouses so compact rooms and no lifts, Breakfast basic but fine. Friendly staff. 3 Hotels linked Sapphire, Emerald and Pearl all on same block - when you arrive you might find you are in a different one but there is no difference.

Great for shoppers”
I have had a very nice stay. We went to London for shopping, and this place was excellent. A 5min walk and we were at westfield mall. It is also possible to walk to oxford st. But that will be a 30min walk. Also several places were you can rent a bicycle near by the hotel. The underground is a 5min walk. Also good location for sightseeing in central london. The hotel is clean and has a nice and friendly staff. The area of the hotel is a quite area.

Nice Hotel”
Room was not actually at Sapphire but at Pearl Hotel on the next block. Staff was very helpful. Luckily room is located at level 1 although it may be noisy when people are going up the stair. Ok breakfast.

Great location, terrible facilities”
Drilling and banging works going on during the day which also started very early in the morning and woke me up. Smell of gas as you walk in, possible as a result of the works. Wifi very poor. Chair positioned in corner of room due to leg missing - very unsafe! Should of either been fixed properly before someone checked into the room or removed from room completely! No milk pods for tea in room and breakfast finished at a very early time (7.30 - 9.30) Sink in bathroom was not draining properly. Radiator not working and room was freezing even though there was 2 blankets in room. Only plus of this 'hotel' was it's location and friendly staff but not a comfortable accommodation to spend your stay in London

Sleepless night”
We must have chosen the wrong night to stay as we were woken at 3am by loud music and shouting coming from the floor below. We attempted to contact the reception with details on our booking confirmation but it is clearly not manned 24hrs and there were no contact details at all in the room. The music and shouting continued for over an hour resulting in a very poor nights sleep. I accept this was not the fault of the hotel however by having no one available on site to deal with the issue this has meant that we definitely wouldn't return and would advise others against staying. Beds were comfortable and shower room clean.

they give us a different hotel”
the hotel was clean as was the room but when we arrived at the hotel the owner told us the hotel was booked and that we are sleeping at his friends hotel two doors away. The other hotel was very nice but it was not the hotel we choosed. Plus we stayed in the -1 floor so we heard everyone walking above us and we could not sleep. I dont recomend!

The hotel room was small but sweet. Very clean and tidy and perfect for our stay. Breakfast was busy but lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again should we be in the area again. The hotel was only a short walk away from the Eventim Appollo so perfect for us.

No issues. Only that the room was on 3rd floor and it was quite an effort getting the luggage up and down. No lift available although the staff did offer help.

Plain and Functional”
All a bit basic, but fine for an over night stay. Check in and breakfast at at the Pearl Hotel, which is about 5 doors down there road. Wouldn't recommend for people with small children, buggies, or wheel chairs. Lots of steps

Stay anywhere but here”
Having booked the hotel online, we were promised a ‘boutique hotel’ that supposedly looked well appointed and newly refurbished. We booked a double room which stated we should have, amongst other things; a kettle, iron and fridge. On arriving, we had to go to another hotel a few doors down to check in. The staff members there didn’t seem bothered about helping us and were too busy complaining about another guest. We were eventually checked in and then went to our room. To say we were disappointed was an understatement. The room was tiny, we didn’t have a full double bed and there was layers of dirt in and around the room and bathroom. The randomly placed fridge at the foot of the bed was noisy and annoying. The room didn’t look newly refurbished and had scuff marks and scratches all over and an iron imprint on the floor (interestingly we didn’t have an iron!). The mattress was very uncomfortable to top it off. Don’t visit this place - it’s horrible. Go somewhere else!

The room was not furnished with air condition. The bed doesn't feel clean as black spots or mark could be seen. It was not worth the price that we paid.

No lifts”
Hotel with no lifts. Carrying all the luggages up 3 storeys and going with elderly. How can they carry the big luggages up. Definitely not going to this hotel. And the rooms are very very small. Not recommended for family. Maybe those really budget types will like it. Checked out the very next day.
