Little gem in Ubud ”
This Hotel is so peaceful and nice. This place is only 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive from Ubud center. If you like to be in a rice field and relax it is the place. Far away from the mass tourist hotels in Ubud. I loved my stay over there and really feel the serenity of the country side. The meal at the restaurant is not so great but it is so peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel.
We liked everything”
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Actually, I think the hotel worth every penny we spent, very convinient price for big room, buffet style breakfast and huge territory with rice fields, lake and many private villas . Did we mentioned walking distance to Ubud ? We regret very much that we booked only one night and stayed longer before transfer to other place. Great service and polite staff.
Spacious and comfortable”
Everything is great except for tv channel options..only 3 channels available & bathtub always got small branches and leaves (we do expect this as the bathtub is in outdoor). We really enjoy the view, love the sound of the ducks right out of our villa. Need more improvement definately but we dont mind to coma back again
Excellent atmosphere and location”
Pros: The room is spacious, the bathroom as well Nice view of paddy field Good breakfast Nice service Cons: Floor a little bit dusty TV not working properly (at the time) Everything else is excellent for the price
Private pool villa in the middle of the jungle”
We stayed here for 3 nights in the Private pool villa and loved it so much. The room was huge and the bed was super comfy we slept through until late morning equipped with mosquito net as you can expects quite a lot of insects during the night. The private pool was just amazing. We spent most of our private time in the villa. Breakfast was good comparing to other hotels we used to stay in Ubud. Rice field view is stunning. Motorbike rental is possible at the front desk. Also the resprt provides transportation to Ubud once every 2hrs.
Room was spacious equip with mini pool. Location was good, very peaceful and quiet...suitable for honeymoon couple. Staff were friendly n helpful too.Resort surrounded by paddy field n lake..Only setback is room and furniture looks old and its not well maintained..otherwise its a perfect stay.
Overall it was great experience. I had room with paddy rice field and it was amazing. But a bit details like curtain which couldn't be closed perfectly and the bathtub seemed like haven't done cleaned (I live the bathroom tho! It was a big open air bathroom), i was going to use it in the morning and it has leaves here and there and i was a bit uncomfortable to use it, and use shower instead. But I had great 2 days, i love the room design l, very warm and calming. I definitely don't mind to come back.
The hotel is actually so much better than the photos give it credit for. 15 minutes walk from the Ubud centre but there are shops within 2 minutes. They have two hourly shuttles too. We were supposed to share the pool with the other cottage but nobody stayed there so it was for just the two of us. The food at their restaurant is superb! Great breakfast too. Best value for money in Ubud!
Your Traditional Resort's Gateway”
I stayed at Sapu Lidi Resort for 3D2N. I booked 1 night for deluxe room and 1 night for grand deluxe (with shared pool), but on last minute my husband and I asked for having the same deluxe room as we found out that the room has 'private mini pool' on its bathroom! Also, I was having some heartburn due to pregnancy on midnight and the grand deluxe room is pretty far away from the resort's lobby :) The breakfast was really nice, they have some options on the menu - with some cereal, desert, and fruit also to complete your breakfast with the view of rice paddy field. The pool also really nice, with the nice view of rice paddy field and next to the spa area. However, expect some low lighting in the night. The resort location is pretty near from gas station, emergency clinic (which saved me a lot during the midnight pregnancy's heartburn), and Ubud's center area. Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Sapu Lidi Resort. Thumbs up !
Very Relaxing Place”
If you want to just stay and chill in Ubud, this place one of them Pros: Rooms are very very spacious, even the bathroom is a size of one room Facilities are ok and many (Yoga/Meditation Spots, Pool, Spa) Food is fantastic! Room Service and Breakfast Staff are helpful and nice Cons: Room AC is terrible maybe its because the rooms are so big Rooms and Facilities seems a bit worn down Biggest issue we encountered was the AC in our room, for the first 2 nights we constantly called the reception to fix, but they are unable to fix the AC so we had to settle for using a fan for 2 nights. However, when we demanded to be move to a better room, they gave us the Villa with private pool for our last night! So all is forgiven
Suitable for serenity and tranquility experience”
The ambiance and amenities are superb! If you need to relax, this is the most recommended resort. We enjoyed both our private pool and the public pool located by the lush green paddy fields. I just love the sounds of birds chirping early in the morning. Hope to come back here.
Best place to stay in Ubud”
Sapu lidi is the best place if you want to stay in quiet, private, and relax in Ubud.. We love everything during our stay in this hotel, location and breakfast are good.. Improve the lights on the way to villa, when the night come, minim lights and little bit dark along the way.. we will come back soon.. thank you sapu lidi and agoda..
im so surprised!!!”
we are so shocked for this price we got a very nice villa. we also get free upgrade villa with pool. the place was beautiful, clean, peacefully and worth every penny. just...maybe for the breakfast, u guys can add on for halal section? :) highly recommend! definitely will come back again! thanks sapu lidi for great facility!
Peaceful & Serene Getaway ”
This is a perfect little getaway in Ubud. As it is not on a main road it was peaceful to have views of the rice field and lovely to have a lakeside room. The pool is a little far way from the rooms so parents with young kids have to walk to the pool with them and as there is a lots of water around you must be aware with young kids. The kitchen menu is limited so we had to go out for dinner every nught- breakfast became boring after 4 days of stay.
Relaxing Get away!”
Very good place for couple, was stay in executive king with nice private pool. Friendly Staff, good atmosphere, the location very good not in central but very near from ubud central, well they have shuttle bus every 2 hours.
Quite Villa and Nice view”
Rice field is surrounding your villa. Choose family villa with 2 bedrooms and private pool. Amazing view for rest and relax. wifi is very bad.. breakfast is so so... the nice thing you will have is a quite place and nice view.
Really nice Resort”
Loved the ducks walking around. We had a family room which consisted of two huts and pool in middle..this was really nice. Beautiful grounds with large pool. Breakfast was simple but quite nice. Shuttle service here is really good which they run 3-4 times a day and they have a pick up point opposite the markets which is sooo handy when coming back. Loved our stay here and will return
Fantastic Family Rooms”
The family rooms with their own private pool are fantastic. Two big bedrooms overlooking the rice paddies. Lounging around the pool gazing at the ducks, birds and farm life was a great experience. The staff at this resort are the best we've experienced in all of Bali.
Awesome & comfortable room, tranquil ambience, tasty breakfast”
I booked a standard room for my friends while I stayed in deluxe room. Deluxe Room was awesome. I like the room arrangement, it was just simple yet romantic & artistic. The room had exotic open air bath room & I loved the bath tub area. View from the room & terrace was beautiful : rice field, accompanied by sound of birds & ducks in the morning. Room was clean enough but cleanliness improvement will be better. Standard room: It was smaller that deluxe room but similar style to deluxe room. It was comfortable & nice especially for honeymoon. It has a plunge pool on its bath room, unfortunately the pool was not clean enough so my friends didn't soak into the pool. Overall, we are all agree that got what we saw in the pictures with affordable rates. Breakfast was delicious even though not in wide variety. Staffs were friendly. Resort area & pool area was tranquil, mostly in natural lush green.
