Great for young children!!”
View is great. My kid loves it. Facilities great for an outdoor garden. Breeze is clean, though GenSan is generally hot in temperature. I just hope in the future it has a pool and a playground to complete it. Only problem is the receptionist, we scheduled transfers at 2pm but she changed it to 1pm and informed us 11:30am that morning. We found ourselves rushing our lunch. So annoying.

Very peaceful hotel with amazing views”
The hotel was very peaceful and the views were incredible. The service was excellent and the food was reasonably priced and delicious. There is ongoing building on the premises to accommodate more guests. The gardens were very tranquil. It is a place to wind down and relax and we really enjoyed our time there

Returning traveller to this hotel. Very polite and helpful staff. Clean and affordable rooms. Safe and with free shuttle service. Totally recommendable. Hats off to the crews and management.

The garden added to the appeal of the hotel”
We enjoyed our stay as the hotel was away from the city... it was a relaxing stay with the resto situated in a garden. I guess the place is secure enough as there were several US Navy personnel booked there while we were there, which came as a surprise. But the rooms are too small considering that the place has a luxury of space situated outside of the city. It would have added more comfort.

"OK", bur with care it could be an excellent hotel”
We had high expectations for the hotel because several Filipino artists and celebrities (most recently Chris Aquino, President Aquino's sister) stay there when visiting Gensan. The hotel is on the opposite side of the airport from the city, about 500m off the highway at the top of a dirt road. There is a security-guard at the gate but the hotel's perimeter is extensive and otherwise unguarded so guests might feel hotel security is inadequate. The room was air-conditioned, with tiled floor, reasonably clean, and very simply furnished. The bed was a queen size wood-frame with a firm foam mattress. The room had a balcony accessed by a solid wood door, but the view from the balcony was not exceptional. The rooms have heavily colored glass windows which gives no view. The bathroom was small with the toilet positioned so close to the wash-basin that it was difficult to wash and shave. The shower was warm but not hot. Our bathroom had water on the floor and a strong sewage smell. The bathroom amenities are inadequate; just a small sachet of cheap shampoo, a small soap, no toothbrushes (extra charge) and no complimentary bottled water; towels are provided. The dinner menu was excellent but the breakfast was of very poor quality. Brewed coffee was available at extra charge, and more than one cup of the Nescafe sachet coffee also cost extra. The view from the open-air restaurant is very nice and tranquil and this would be an amazing place for breakfast if only the hotel would improve the breakfast menu. Overall I was left feeling this could be a wonderful hotel if the management would: 1 - Replace the colored glass windows with real windows. 2 - Redesign the layout of the bathrooms to position the toilet-bowl away from the wash-basin. 3 - Train the staff to properly inspect the rooms. 4 - Train the restaurant staff to be more attentive. 5 - Improve the breakfast menu. 6 - Increase security. Then this will be a sold-out true 3 - 4 star hotel.

Value for Money”
Value for Money indeed! Paid 2,600 for a room good for 8 pax (7 beds & 1 extra bed). Super cheap ❤️ Had fun staying there, my only concern is the cleanliness, its 3 out of 5 due to dirts in bed sheets and mosquitos but the staff are quick in assisting clients.

Enjoyable stay, expect to wait for food...”
Great value accommodation, stunning gardens, facilities are nice enough and staff are friendly. If you're eating at the resturant, allow nearly an hour as they are often understaffed. The meals are a bit overpriced too...

The view is great. But the service is meh.”
I love the view in this place. They keep their gardens maintained. I just do not like their service in the hotel. It's too mabagal. And for the breakfast it takes too long for them to serve your food. It took us almost an hour and a half waiting for the food.. The food by the way is okay. I would recommend this place for its scenic view. If you're looking for one. The room where we're at had a low lighting so it's dim especially in the morning. Maybe because it has something to do with the heat of the sun. I hope they'd fix that though.

Disappointing”
All the bad experiences we made seem to be due to strange management, while the staff was always friendly and tried to be genuinely accommodating, when possible. Our room looked as if they just ran out of money in the middle of construction. The ceramics in the bathroom were some of the most beautiful I've ever seen, but there was a super-tiny faucet connected to the basin that didn't even allow you to fit your hand under it, because it was undersized. The toilet bowl was placed too close to the shower, it was almost inside it. The rest of the complex displayed a similar half-heartedness. Beautiful plants, view and craftswork aside, as soon as you looked around a corner or under a balcony, it was all trash and neglect. Sad. My wife became sick and I went to the front desk to ask for paracetamol. They charged me money, which is - according to my wife - against the law in the Philippines. Our room was not cleaned, no attempt was even made to knock on our door. The food was of good pricing and quality, BUT the quest for vegetarian food options was trying. We asked in advance whether we can change the meat in the breakfast to more fruits or egg instead. We were told this is impossible because its a set. That's bad service, and also discriminating. A la carte, they only had few vegetarian dishes, and when they told us that they are out of stock when we ordered bitter melon, we became somewhat angry, because my wife had to eat the same dish 3 times in a row and bitter melon is one of the easiest vegetables to get. Then, magically, the dish became available. We tried to get an early ride to the tuna port. We wanted to leave at 5am in order to see the auctions, but they insisted that 5:30 is okay. Later they told us that we should go earlier, so we decided for 5am after all. 5am we went to the front desk and the driver didn't show up for 30 minutes. There were nice things, but don't come before the place is managed properly and the customer service an actual priorit
